Desiree was great to work with. We hired her to help us decorate our main living area. I was a little worried that our job would be too small for her scope, but she assured me that she does jobs of all sizes.
She started off by coming over to our house to get an idea of the space and our style. We had already ordered the sofa, but needed help with everything else, as we were starting from scratch. She went shopping with us twice, and the remainder of the time, we worked by emailing each other links of ideas. She quoted us on a budget that we were comfortable with, and she was able to finish everything in the hours she quoted us on. She even came over a final time to help us install some wall shelves and position the accessories around the room for us.
There are so many stores and ideas that I never would have thought about without Desiree’s help. She was really great, and I would highly recommend her!

I worked with Desiree on decorating my home and I feel absolutely confident recommending her to anyone in need of design and/​or decorating services. Desiree has a great eye and is a consummate professional. She is also very adept at working within an agreed-​upon budget and delivering great results no matter what that budget is. She is knowledgeable about many great sources of materials, furniture and décor and maintains relationships with any outside firms that might be needed during a project such as painters. She sticks with each task until it’s done right and to the satisfaction of her client. She is also very creative and continues to offer ideas throughout the duration of a project. In short, she sees both the big picture and the smallest detail. If you hire Desiree for your project, you can rest assured that it will be completed with a strong commitment to excellence.

Desiree did a great job with one of the most difficult projects of my life: choosing the color of paint for each room of our condo. After subtly guiding us away from the disaster it would have been had we gone with our original color choices, Desiree was able to find an excellent color match for each room with further recommendations on how to use accent colors to expand the space. She was also able to tell when either my wife or I did not like a color – even when we weren’t sure ourselves – and she was quickly able to find different colors that we both liked. We had the place painted and it looks fantastic! We couldn’t be happier with it.
Far more than just paint selection, Desiree also offers a complete portfolio of interior design services and is especially passionate about kitchens. Coming from the insurance industry where she regularly negotiated with top executives, no one drives a harder bargain with contractors better than Desiree — and that could save you a lot of money and headache.
