I needed a small repair job on my eaves troughs. The eave troughs were originally installed many years ago by the Sweers Company so I thought I’d call them back for the repairs. An appointment was secured and Mr Sweers came to my home at the time promised. He looked over the work I wanted done spending maybe 30 minutes with me. At the end he provided me a very reasonable quote for the work and said though he was very busy this fall, he’d work it in within a week or two. About three weeks passed and I called his office and asked when the work might get done. The young lady didn’t know but would pass the message along. Another two weeks went by and I repeated the request but this time noted if Sweers didn’t want to do the job just let me know and I would find someone else. It was a different lady this time but she assured me that she would get the message to Mr. Sweers. Now another two weeks have passed and winter is upon us. I again talked to the Sweers office and again said she would passed the request on the Mr Sweers. At most this little repair job would take about an hour including travel time before and after the work was completed. I do understand that the fall is a busy time of the year for this type of business but do not understand the complete lack of follow up with a simple, honest reply as what they will or will not do. Very disappointed in a long time Genesee county business.
