History

Established in 2009.

5 Nerds began when its founder was attempting to have a website developed for her own baked goos company. The experience was difficult, frustrating, and expensive. A couple of years later she was in need of another website for a different project. She found a different developer, but the experience was the same.

This opened her eyes. Her options were 1) Pay extremely high prices (tens of thousands of dollars for a basic website) to get good customer service and someone that could fill in the blanks she had. Or 2) hire a freelancer and be stuck trying to work directly with the developer that wanted to speak in «code».

She decided to solve the problem and start a development company of her own that revolved around the CLIENT’S VISION of their project. Until this vision was completely understood, not one line of code was written. Her mission was to take the fear out of software development. And so began 5 Nerds.

Business Owner

Holly is Conejo Valley through and through. Born in Camarillo, grew up in Thousand Oaks, and living in Moorpark. This is my home.

Although not necessary, we love working face to face with out clients to get the most out of every discussion. Our approach is very simple… we take the fear out of software and website development. We everything transparent and keep you informed of everything happening along the way. No surprises.
