Susan really knows how to cut fine hair. I’m new to town and my hair had grown too long and lanky looking. I was worried about trying a new stylist, but felt encouraged by the reviews that said she would work with people. That’s exactly what happened with me and I couldn’t be more pleased. I asked if she could use a razor to shape my hair, and she cut it entirely with a razor, addressing all the issues that I explained to her! She clearly communicated to me what she planned to do before cutting, and as she worked through the style, she’d ask me what I thought, or she’d share her opinion with me. The style kind of evolved, unlike any other stylist I’ve been to! I feel thrilled to find someone who can style my fine hair however I might want to.

I found this Camas spot from looking HERE @ Unilocal!Anyway, I was SO very pleased with the cut from Susan and the input from Lenore too! They were friendly and very helpful as I was explaining the way I wanted my hair to be cut! There was definitely a ‘personal touch’ and for sure I will be going back THERE!

Susanna does a wonderful job! After getting a disastrous haircut somewhere else, I went to her and told her specifically what I wanted. She did exactly what I asked her to do. I’ve had a hard time finding a hairstylist who listens to what I want and asks me questions if they aren’t sure about what I mean. Magic Scissors has great prices and they do a great job!

Magic Scissors is the place to go. Susan always does a great job cutting my hair and I always leave looking smart and feeling I got a terrific value. The first thing you’ll notice is that she pays attention to you. She really cares about giving you the best cut she can and it shows. Susan used to work for a nationwide chain, and I would only drop in when she was on duty and always request that she cut my hair. When she opened her own shop, I followed (and brought my wife too). Susan has been cutting my hair now for over seven years. She’s the best and I couldn’t be happier.

Susanne does an amazing job cutting hair. And her prices are so reasonable. She takes her time and makes sure everything is just perfect with the cut. It’s a great cut for the price… I typically pay her a $ 10 tip because she’s so inexpensive but the cut is a $ 50 cut in downtown Portland.

The place might not look froo froo but Susanna is amazing with hair. I always leave feeling pampered and loving my hair cut and color. My two boys love that she listens to them and gives them the cut they want.

I have naturally curly hair and I am always nervous to try a new place. I live in Camas and I used to drive to the Lloyd center to get my hair done at Toni & Guy. (A cut and color there runs about $ 170.) I decided to go see Susan first for my 10 year old son, then for my 5 year old daughter. After seeing how great of a job Susan did on my children, I went next! We have been going to Magic Scissors for over a year now and everytime, we get what we ask for. Susan is so sweet and funny and appropriate, which is important for our values.
