Cleaning Executives

They are difficult to make an appointment with as there is nobody working the phones. After I made an appointment online, nobody showed up and I was not able to reach anybody to determine why this was. This was obviously frustrating as I stayed in on a Saturday morning waiting for them to come. I eventually made another appointment because I had already paid for the services through a living social deal. I definitely do not recommend this company.

I was not happy with the cleaning the first time they came. When I complained, they said they will give me an offer to make a better impression on me. They honored the $ 60 for the second visit.
I took an appointment 3 weeks ago, they said a confirmation by email. And tonight they were supposed to come and they were a no show. I am not calling them back. They are not wasting my time any more.

$ 60 for 3 hours of cleaning. We didn’t have the same problems that everyone else did with scheduling, there really wasn’t any issue with that. We did try to email and contact them prior to the cleaning to see how everything worked and what the cleaning included. no response at all.
a lone cleaner came over at the scheduled time of 9 AM. I proceeded to go over what was going to be cleaned, and some specific things that we really wanted cleaned (the knobs on the stove, those things get dirrrrrty). I was promptly advised that this was a «basic» cleaning that would only clean the outside of things, and not the inside of the stove, microwave or fridge. I had no problem with this, and she started to clean.
I had to leave ½ way through for an hour, and came back to see absolutely no obvious difference from when I left. I came back to her using a dustbuster to vacuum the living room floor. from the sound it was making, it was obvious that the battery was dying, and from the dirt that was being pushed around, it was clear that this dustbuster wasn’t cutting it. I asked if she would like to use the vacuum, and she said that it would help, but she didn’t end up using it. she finished promptly at 12 and left.
we live in a small ranch and all I asked for was the kitchen (10×15), the living room and the bathroom to be cleaned. she used some horrible ammonia smelling cleaning fluid that seems to have left a residue on the things she did clean, but what’s worse is you can tell what she didn’t clean, which was pretty much everything. didn’t even sweep the bathroom floor, didn’t clean the tub, didn’t clean the bathroom sink, I’m pretty sure she didn’t even go into the bathroom. we’re talking about a very small bathroom.
all in all, you could do the same amount of cleaning that this woman did in 1 hour by yourself. spend 2 hours, and she’s completely blown out of the water. I shudder to think that someone out there has paid full price for this shitty of a cleaning.

I got the livingsocial deal for Cleaning Executives a little while back. The deal was $ 60 for 3 hours of cleaning — plenty of time to make a dent in my not too too messy 1 bedroom apartment. I have never had any cleaning services at any of my places before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.
First problem — I scheduled the appointment using their online system, which apparently didn’t transmit or ask for my address. I honestly don’t remember. End result of my online appointment scheduling — on Monday July 11 at 6pm, when the person was supposed to show up and clean, there was no one. I had rearranged my entire schedule that day. Left early from work, changed plans, etc etc — and nothing. So I called and emailed. The next day someone got back to me and was a bit rude on the phone. She basically said that they didn’t have my address and that’s why no one showed up. WELL IF YOU DIDN’T HAVE IT, THEN WHY DIDN’T YOU CALL AND CONFIRM? YOU HAD ALL OF MY OTHER INFO (like say um… MY PHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL!). So she was really rude and I was pretty pissed. However, I had spent $ 60 already and was determined to have a cleaner apartment. So we rescheduled and she made sure to write down my address.
Wound up rescheduling for 9am the following Saturday — yes, let’s waste my weekend please… I got at least 2 phone calls confirming, which made me feel better about setting an alarm clock for a Saturday morning. The woman showed up on time and was really nice and friendly. I felt kind of weird sitting around my house reading and being on my computer and whatnot while she cleaned in the other room, but it was whatever. It’s a small apartment. She started in the kitchen and then hit the bathroom, so I chilled in the living room. When she was ready to do the living room, I went into my bedroom and read for a while. I did keep my cats locked up in my room for the duration.
I don’t think my apartment is unusually large. It’s a good size, but I don’t think it’s so big that she reasonably didn’t have time to do my bedroom. However, the attention to detail she gave my kitchen and bathroom was impressive. She saw the crazy amounts of dust and cat hair (yes, ew) in my living room/​office area and actually spent an extra 30 minutes here because she wanted to finish up properly. I told her at noon that she could stop because it was only a 3 hour voucher, but she just smiled and waved me away. It felt awkward because I knew I couldn’t afford to pay her for the extra time, but that never came up. She just wanted to get it done right and she did a great job.
I really wish I could remember the woman’s name who came to clean my house because she really was fantastic and I definitely recommend her. The company itself, not so much, but the employee I interacted with — definitely. She is the reason this is not a 1 star review. My apartment was the cleanest it’s ever been (and it’s still looking alright actually, even a month+ later — YAY!).

I bought the living social promotion. I had no problems scheduling a day for the cleaning. The company was very responsive by email. No one ever answered the phone. The cleaner even arrived early. My complaint is that she did a bad job. She was working hard the entire three hours but had no common sense and was slow. When she dusted and vacuumed she did not move items around. Also I don’t know what cleaning products she was using. She changed between two different bottles of something. I felt that she was a hard worker but that she didn’t clean well. I was really not impressed.

Like most people who have reviewed, I purchased the Living Social deal. The cleaner arrived 45minutes late, however stayed for longer than the agreed three hours (she stayed and extra half an hour).
Our house is quite large, and we do have a regular cleaner, however I thought I would try Cleaning Exec’s to see what someone else would do. My regular lady does the whole house (three floors, and basement) in a bit more than three hours — she moves quickly and efficiently and cleans quite well.
The Cleaning Exec’s person moved at a snail’s pace cleaning only three rooms in the first 2 hours 45minutes.
It also took many weeks to arrange an appointment.
I am thoroughly disappointed. A waste of time, and money.

My experience with this company was awful. They showed up 45 minutes late (making me late for work), and then, when I returned home, I saw how sub-​par their cleaning was. I’m not even sure they swept (there was still stuff on the floors), the bathrooms were covered in dirt and not scrubbed, and even the mirrors were still spotty.
I wrote an e-​mail, including pictures, explaining what was wrong. When I received a phone call back, expecting at least an apology for the bad service, they not only didn’t apologize, but spent the entire call DEFENDING their cleaner. I have a pretty small apartment, and have cleaned it myself in less than 3 hours. They said he «ran out of time» (probably because he showed up 45 minutes late). They then offered me another cleaning at 25% off — I told her not to bother, that I would find another cleaning service.
I would NOT recommend Cleaning Executives in the least. It’s cheaper, and less frustrating, to clean the space yourself.

I bought the living social promotion for this company. After several e-​mails and voice mails left with the company, I have finally received a scheduled cleaning appointment. This took over a week for them to schedule with me. I do want to say that the reason it probably took so long to schedule it was because the company is probably getting slammed with e-​mails and phone calls from living social people all at once. They probably aren’t staffed with enough people to handle call/​e-​mail volume. I will update after the cleaning with how they do on my place. The customer service representative said that 2 people would probably be cleaning my place. She also said that the deal only included 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, 1 dining room, and 1 tv room. This was not on the living social deal. I’m not sure, maybe someone else can confirm. I negotiated it though because I have 2 bathrooms and don’t want cleaning in any bedrooms… – It’s the day of my cleaning. They’re suppose to be here at 9 am. It’s 948 AM on Saturday and no one has showed up or called me to say they’re going to be late or can’t make it. I called their office several times again and no one is picking up. I left a voicemail with the office… and they called me back an hour and 45 minutes after they were suppose to be at my place. The voicemail said they would come over right away to clean my place or on a Sunday (and they were so great for doing this because they aren’t open sundays). Well I called back within ten minutes and got another voicemail, so I left another voicemail. No one returned my phone call. I call them again on Tuesday and leave a voicemail and then e-​mail them as well. I get a call back saying someone can come clean my place at 6 pm that night or the next day. I choose for Wednesday morning at 8 AM. A new cleaning employee at the company shows up at my place on time on Wednesday morning! Yay. She is very nice and sweet. She did a good job cleaning my place for only 3 hours in a town house style place. The bathrooms, floors, counters, etc. are clean. Walls were not cleaned at all and my spiral staircase was ignored. They also sent her to my place without a vacuum because they said tile/​wood floors don’t wouldn’t need a vacuum. This is crazy to me because obviously you need to vacuum a floor before you mop it. Luckily, I have my own vacuum to let her use. The cleaning lady was very nice, but I can’t get over the rest of the general bad experience with this place. The customer service was awful. I will not be using this company ever again.

I also got the living social promotion, and it took forever to schedule this appointment, then we finally made the appointment for 9 AM one morning and they never showed, i called and they said its for 11AM, they didnt show up until 1230PM with only 1 person who looked like it was her first day. She spent like 1 ½ on a few dished did the kitchen floor, and then the bathroom floor… skipped the tub and sink. This is bullshit and a waste of $$ She also left early. Try to get a refund ASAP is you haven’t already used this.

This company sucks. I got a living Social promotion and after a few calls we finally agreed on a time they would come. The deal was 3 hours of cleaning for $ 60.00. They came they mopped the Kitchen floor and cleaned the bathroom and left. Never did the dishes or did anything in the living room or bedroom. A total ripoff! Don’t tell me it took 3 hours to mop the kitchen floor which is 10×15 and the bathroom which is 4×6 a total joke!

So, I recently purchased a home cleaning from a living social promotion, which was a huge mistake! This company didnt return a phone call or email for two weeks as I was trying to book my appointment. I would never use them as a cleaning service as once I did get a hold of somebody (living social rep had to track somebody down) the guy was totally unprofessional and definitely not somebody I would feel comfortable having in my house… Do not use…
