While I love the store, my family tartan is never in stock.
I was told it could be ordered. I stopped into the store for the information.
I’ve called back two times and returned to the shop another time.
I still cannot get the information needed so I can order the specific tartan.

A pretty cute little shop in downtown Campbell. The owner lady is really nice and helpful, even though she’s a bit on the older side. The other worker here was also a happy and talkative chap who seemed to get people.
They offer a lot of cool Scottish items, and if you’re interested in the culture you will love this place. It has a lot of personality and is truly unique within this area of the Bay Area.
Give it a go if you’re in the area.

If you live Irish, Scottish, Welsh, and other Celtic stuff, this is the store for you. If you are looking for something in a certain plaid, it is likely to be here. There is even a section upstairs to look at! There is a variety of silver and pewter jewelry in traditional Celtic designs, as well as things like photo frames, dolls, Aran wool sweaters and drums. The store is small but enjoyable to browse and great for gift shopping.

Super cute store, they have a little bit of everything Irish and Scottish, even a few things Welsh. Super friendly.

This small, Celtic shop is an amazing find in downtown Campbell. I love browsing here and have bought numerous gifts and a few items for myself. :) The owners are helpful and do not pressure their customers or try to «up sell» anyone. Everyone in the shop is very friendly and I love their authentic products. it’s great fun to go there. Enjoy!

I tiny little shop in downtown Campbell where you can find some good authentic Irish goods. They may not have everything you are after, but they do have a really good bit of inventory. Also considering there are very few shops in the area that sell items like this you can pretty much count on having to buy it online if they don’t have it here. There is a charming lady who owns this place and will answer any and all questions you have.

There really isnt another place like this since the British Store in Cupertino closed. You can get a lot of great Celtic inspired gear, tartans, kilts, accessories, and TONS of other great stuff. The staff are amazing and very sweet with great accents. I go here to get cool stuff, jewelry and things my parents love. Definitely a stop if you want something different and unique (AND well made!)

I love coming into this store. Every single person I have ever encountered behind the counter has been incredibly helpful, and always willing to chat.
I came in most recently last weekend while hanging out at Oktoberfest with Shawn, and we went in because we wanted to see if we could find the Clan McCullough Tartan. When we browsed what the store had in stock, we were unable to find anything, so we asked if we could see if their books had it (I know of these books from previous visits here with my Grandmother looking up her mother’s family’s tartan). The lady behind the counter this time, pulled the books down, and looked it up. While we weren’t able to find the tartan in the books, we found out Shawn has a little more homework to do because the McCullough Clan comes from a few other clans.
The lady behind the counter even looked some information up on her laptop for Shawn and chatted a bit with us about how to go about finding more information on his last night.
We thanked her, browsed a little more – saw a few things we each wouldn’t mind owning in the future, we thanked them and left.
My favorite thing about this store is their willingness to talk about Celtic Heritage, even if they can tell you probably won’t be purchasing anything from them that day. They enjoy what they do, and they aren’t just in it for the sale.
If you’re in the area, and you have any interest in Celtic history or relics, visit this store and chat up the shopkeepers. You won’t regret it!

This is a cute shop in Downtown Campbell that is owned by a great Irish couple. I’ve been here several times and you can find all kinds of Celtic things, from wearables, to food items to jewlery. This shop is great if you’re looking for something for St. Patrick’s day.
I bought 2 Celtic rings here before, one for myself and one for my friend and I’ve received many compliments on my ring.
Definitely a shop that you have to check out. Make sure to say Hi to the husband and wife as they are so friendly, Louis and Cathy.

Love this shop. The people working there are sweet and helpful as possible. Was able to buy my Irish son a few Christmas presents and they wrapped them all for me at no cost. The knits look incredible. If you need something Irish, or just interesting, this is the place. Prices were very reasonable as well.

When I saw the Celtic Shoppe, I did one of those gasp and sighs; excitement from seeing anything promoting Celtic tradition, Celtic heritage and sighing at the possibility of it being a spider web of a brick and brackie or a flea market shop where you could find musty wool goods, tams or old pioneer pins.
I was so happy to stumble upon this great shop and found a dependable source for Celtic goods from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and oh yeah, England.
When I moved to my new place, all my things didn’t make the move. One of these things lost was my Crosóg Bríde (St. Brigid’s Cross). I was happy that the shop carried an authentic Crosóg Bríde. The lady at the shop reminded me of a teacher I had when she asked if I would be placing the cross above the door, which I assured her it was.
The shop carries kilts, Irish colognes and perfumes, clothes, throws, jewelry, bodhráns, tartans, football shirts, jumpers and pull overs, and that’s only the tip of this Celtic iceberg. The shop also carries copies of the Irish Herald, a local SF Irish newspaper.
I hope people go in and look around and see all that they have. There really is something for everyone. I come here first if I am looking for something specific, like desktop flags (they even carry Brattagh Vannin/​Isle of Mann flags) to the latest Belleek piece.

We crossed over the street from Orchard Valley coffee shop and spotted this cute store! I was in «Plaid Heaven» but nothing can compete against my Burberry woollies.
The store had lots of scarves and kilts, as well as china, tea sets, greeting cards, tapestries and jewelery.
We browsed around for a bit while waiting for a friend we were meeting.
The lady who ran the store was very friendly.

Been meaning to write this for a while. Well, as it stands, nearly a year ago was Hunter’s bday and I thought it fitting to run around wearing kilts… in Los Gatos… in the dead of winter… at night… did I mention that it was cold? Him being a kilt wearer himself, his Mrs. and a number of other bonnie lasses took it upon themselves and bore their tartans as well.
So where does one get a kilt… hell the things are bloody expensive! So the next best option is to rent a kilt. Where do you bloody rent a kilt from?
Here, that’s where!
The couple that run the shop are so cute and the shop itself is semi kitchy in all things Celtic. Most importantly they have kilts and all the accouterments that go with it for the full effect… all the way down to the lil sgian dubh. don’t worry, they aren’t that sharp.
When you rotate your hoops like you’re playing with a hoola hoop while wearing a kilt… let me tell you, there’s a lot of air circulation going on down there… Hahahahhahaha!

This place gets my blood pumping with pride every time I walk in. This is one of those places I would go crazy in with a gift card.
Tapestries, leather goods, rings, bodhrans, glassware… wow. Just can’t get over it. My whole family has a brass shamrock on their kitchen walls thanks to this store.
Can be pricey, but quality is key here. Don’t overlook that you are getting the best here. Great for the true Irishman, and those who are only such once a year.

Delightful shop and shopkeepers. Beautiful items of all sorts. I purchased a pair of earrings that were absolutely lovely. I’ll definitely stop back in the next time I am in Campbell!
p. s. I think we should all patronize Mom & Pop shops like these or they will go under, leaving us only the big Target and Wal-​Mart stores, which are useful, but would never have the selection or specialization that this ‘shoppe’ has.

What a cute little shop on a cute little street with some cute little Scottish friends working the register; and boy are they witty. This place is awesome if you want to get your Braveheart on or just break out into a jig with your bag pipe or Irish whistle. I would say this store is like one of those tourist souvenir shops from Scotland or Ireland, but IN CALIFORNIA! Who knew!?!
It’s fun dropping by just to strike up conversation with the people that work there. I’m laughing just thinking of it.

This highly specialized specialty shop has survived in the same location, tucked in the sleepy back of the Oaks Shopping Center for several years. I was told recently that they do a brisk business from word of mouth, and that they’re a destination venue, with customers regularly dropping in from out of town. On another visit a few days ago, I was told by the saleslady that they’ll be moving location to Campbell, California, a few miles down Highway 85, and closer (coincidence?) to the location of the yearly Campbell Games.
A few weeks ago, I bought a sporran, broad belt, hose, flash, and a bonnet to go with the kilt I’d been gifted some while back, to attend a Rabbie Burns Birthday celebration to be held at the Edinburgh Castle Pub in San Francisco that weekend. I’d been into the shop some years ago to buy a silver booze flask, and was pleasantly surprised to find it still there on my return. I found all the Scots paraphernalia I needed, which set me back about $ 300… all of which were of the highest quality, and well worth it.
There’s a mix of Irish and Scots in the place, without differentiation. They have a small but quality selection of sporrans hanging over the back stockroom door. There’s an impressive selection of bonnets, but the kilt selection is so-​so.
I wasn’t impressed, though, with the Sgian Dubhs in the display case: these were $ 100-​$ 140 each, surprisingly cheaply made, and entirely ceremonial to boot. The saleslady had thought these real hose knives, not knowing they weren’t, and was as surprised as I to find out the truth. If I’m going to spend that type of money, I’m going to wear a real knife, not a pop-​metal substitute.
Great little place, and worth a visit for the novelty value alone.
