I’m very happy with my experience at The Jewelry Box. I sold my diamond wedding Ring and was very happy with the price. They were so kind and caring, making sure that selling my wedding ring was something I was truly ok with (because I’m divorcing I was so ready) Once I convinced Her that I was she inspected the ring and made a offer I was very ok with. All in all the process was a great experience as well as rather quick. at the same time I was there I notice a family with their young daughter getting her ears pierced, that was impressive. I did not know that A top notch jewelry store offered ear piercing. I could tell this store is family driven, a few youngsters appeared to be learning the family business and the beautiful golden lab (I believe a Labrador) was there to great everyone as well… I will be back as a purchasing customer in the very near future. Wow! This place has amazing service! My fiancé got my engagement ring here and mentioned how awesome Todd was. We had to stop by and get my ring sized and I finally got to meet him. It only took them 30 minutes to size my ring. He’s so personable and has a hilarious sense of humor. I definitely recommend going here because 1. prices are good 2. service is even better.

Todd and his crew at Jewel Box are amazing. My husband (fiancé at the time) bought my engagement ring here and told me he was sold on price, amazing service, and the overall feeling of trust. So friendly and upfront about everything! Would recommend them time and time again to anyone. Service and quality of what they sell is fantastic.

First of all i wohld like to say ive done a lot of shopping and I am one very critical guy when it comes to quality and service. With that I write the following:
I came to this store with the pure intention of looking at engagement rings for my now fiancé. I spent countless hours researching the good the bad and the ugly of the engagement ring business. With that I would like to say I knew what I was looking for, but I just needed to find the right ring. I was approached by both Jimmy and Tod the moment I walked in. I received the quality service as I would expect from a nice jewelry store. I informed them both of what I was looking for, but what surprised me most was the reason for the 5 stars.
Jimmy was my main point of contact and soon found that Tod was the owner of the store. Although Jimmy knew exactly what I wanted he really probed me of what I value in a diamond. He wanted to really get an understanding of my finances taste and style in regard to jewelry. With this he spent some quality time going over all the characteristics of a diamond. Since I did my research I felt pretty good about what he was telling me, but what made it the experience was he allowed me to compare and contrast different diamonds where I actually was able to see the differences. It was almost as if I got a crash course in the diamond business. With this new found knowledge, both Tod and Jimmy went over pricing of diamonds and what makes them cost more than others. They went into what really contributes to the sparkle and what could be sacrificed to save a grip of money. The level of honesty was almost unbearable. I haven’t seen this level of transparency anywhere that I’ve shopped… EVER.
In a nutshell this was an absolutely amazing experience. I would advise you all to first visit other jewelry stores so you can a quality understanding of what sets this jewelry store apart from the others. But realistically this should be the only place you go to. I, along with my fiancé, plan to make this our life long jewelry store.
Oh BTW, their entire staff is amazing. My fiancé went back to get the ring resized and she herself was completely blown away with the store and service. Great job guys. Keep it the quality work. See you guys again shortly.

Wonderful staff! Great Quality of work that doesn’t come close to any other place. They go above and beyond to help you and make sure you get exactly what you want and work with you as though you were their family. Amazing place, great people what’s not to love! I would and do recommend this to all my friends, if you need to find something extraordinary for that special someone this is the place!

You would think tiffany’s has a band to go with this ring. They «do», but it has a huge gap due to the basket holding the diamond.
We shopped all around SF, at 8 places, private jewelers, gigantic stores with thousands of rings, tiny custom shops. We went to jewelers in Portland, and San Jose.
My fiancé planned a day of looking for a ring that was notched, that would fit flawlessly with my engagement ring.
The Jewel Box seems small when you first walk in, but don’t let that fool you. Tori, the store manager, brought out four or five BOXES of different notched /​curved rings. It took 30 minutes before we found a flush, perfect fit.
Tori knew I was grumpy and didn’t think we’d find anything. I had tried on hundreds of rings, it totally annoyed me when the sales associate would say «well, the band goes on the INSIDE of the engagement ring… «Listen to me, asshat… my ring is symmetrical. It doesn’t matter if I wear the band on the inside, outside or on my toe. Tori didn’t talk down to me like that. She knew she’d find the perfect ring, and of course she did.
I’m picking it up in a few weeks, perfectly my size and platinum :)

This is my new favorite Jewelers! They have beautiful designer and custom jewelry that is fairly priced. I’ve had repairs done here and a watch battery replaced, all on-​site while I waited. The owner Tod is very professional and friendly, and all the staff provide excellent customer service.

I have been in to this store before with a friend to pick out an engagement ring and the entire staff went out of their way to help us even though they were getting ready to close up to go to Las Vegas for a convention of some sort. Their prices were really great and they took their time to explain so much to us. I believe it is somewhat family owned and operated, which I am a big fan of.
Being that my first experience with my friend was so wonderful, I came back in– not once but twice to talk to them about a wedding band (as of now I still just rock my engagement ring). BOTH times I came into the store were weekdays in the afternoon. BOTH times there were multiple people «working» but not once did I receive a hello, how are you, be with you in one moment. Nothing. For sure many of the people there were clearly working hard — but there were three people who were NOT doing anything. And seemed to be walking around behind the glass. I felt both times they were somewhat busy– but not so busy that I couldn’t even be acknowledged. The first week I went in, I waited for 10 minutes before walking out. I wanted to give them another shot because I had really enjoyed my interaction with them the first time in the store and really liked their selection. However, when I came back in the third time– the same thing happened again. This time I stayed in the store for 15 minutes and was very noticeably looking at the bands and waiting for help. Again– not a smile– or even a hello. I walked out again and walked two doors down — where I was immediately helped. I’m not sure if I had some sort of invisible cloak the two times I walked into their store– or what was going on– but I am super bummed out that they were too busy to have my business.

This review is long overdue! Todd and his staff are amazing. My fiancé worked with them to get the perfect diamond and ring for my engagement ring. Todd was extremely patient with him and educated him on the 4 Cs and what he needed to know to make an informed decision. My fiancé took a LOT of time to find what he thought was perfect and Todd was there to help him every step of the way and never pressured him. My ring is gorgeous and the diamond is beautiful — strangers often comment on how beautiful it is! We couldn’t have had a better experience getting the perfect ring and everyone in the store was beyond helpful and nice. We are headed there to buy our wedding bands and I know they will have the perfect one. I have recommended friends to Todd and I think everyone should go buy from him!

Love this place. I come here for everything — engagement ring, wedding bands, stone resetting & even just stop in for a ring cleaning. I love a supporting local businesses, and the owner & his family are so nice.

Todd & Stacy are amazing. So is their nephew. It’s why we came back to buy my wedding band. They stayed open for us even after they were closed and made the transaction seamless. Also customized our order to ensure our happiness with the product. They were gracious and accommodating. Made us feel like family.

We LOVE this Jeweler! It is a family business, Tod the owner and his wife Stacy, and Drew their nephew all helped when we purchased my Perfect ring! They are super nice, and most importantly they are the experts in anything jewelry especially diamonds! I was extremely particular with the design and my fiancé was extremely picky with the diamond! We have gone to many places, but no one was able to satisfy us. We were referred to The Jewel Box by a trusted friend who is a fan of beautiful diamonds. We felt the warmth and great vibe as soon as we walked into the store. They did not have exactly what I had in mind, so they custom made one for me! Drew was extremely patient with me and learned exactly what I wanted by showing me tons of rings and pictures and puzzle the parts together. They also give me ideas about the design which made my ring even better! I have two tapered baguettes on the side stones, and they had gone through hundreds of them just to find the perfect ones. Once the design was finaled, they made a wax mold to show me to make sure is what I wanted. Wow! Wasn’t I impressed! The final ring was even better than I imagined! The diamond was so sparkle we had to wear sunglasses sometimes. LOL! On top of all that, they worked very hard to get the ring done sooner than it usually takes so that my fiancé could surprise me on Valentine’s Day! I LOVE the jewel box! They are now our jeweler for life! MANY MANY THANKS TO Drew, Tod and Stacy!

I dropped in on a Sunday afternoon to see about buying a gold or platinum chain for a pendant, and having a piece of diamond jewelry repaired. I waited — and waited — and waited –while 4 employees helped others, visited with one another, petted a customer’s dog, etc. One of the employees was openly criticizing a young man who worked there (his son?) — very awkward. I then stepped out to make sure a car alarm was not mine, and then came back in. And waited — and waited — and waited. No one ever said, «Someone will be with you in just a few minutes.» Finally, after about 10 minutes, I left.
The good news is, I then walked into Chique Jewelry just 2 doors down, and was so excited to discover it! The owner was fab — very thoughtful, very helpful. I spent money there, and will spend more money there in the future.
I will not ever go back to The Jewel Box because I was not made to feel like my business is valued. (Besides, it looks like they carry mass manufactured jewelry that you can pick out of a catalog — not my thing.)

For my engagement ring, my fiancé gave me his grandmother’s ring, which was missing stones and partially destroyed. Tod at the Jewel Box discussed everything that needed to be done to the ring and I got it back and it looks like new. So, my antique ring from the 1920s looks like new and I’m not concerned about losing any more stones.

I came here to get my new watch resized and since this place looked like it had superb reviews, I decided to take it here. I have to say I was a bit concerned when I saw the guy hammering away at my watch to remove links. I was very scared that my watch would get damaged. After waiting about 10 mins, he came back out, explained that the links were a bit more complicated than normal links and would take more time so I should come back in 20 mins.
I came back and it was done. I checked the watch really quick before paying $ 16 for two links (which I think is quite pricey).
Anyway, came back to work where I have a lot of light since my desk is right next to the window. It was then that I saw that in the process of removing the links, they had chipped off the color of two of the other links. I was VERY upset. This was a brand new $ 700 watch. Although the parts that had been damaged were on the sides and weren’t as visible when wearing the watch, I was still upset because chipping off some of the rose gold color ruins the integrity of the watch which results in it not lasting as long even if under great care. I am disappointed that they were not very careful with the watch.
This will be my first and last time coming here. I don’t think I could trust them to resize any of my watches again.

The jewel box is Amazing and has a wide selection of jewelry. The staff is pleasant. It has a friendly family atmosphere. I purchased my wifes wedding set there and her mine. The owner Tod was very patient and informative. My wife loves her ring and we would both would not go anywhere for such great service and price.

We met Tod outside of the Jewel Box but decided to go in to buy a graduation gift for our daughter. OMG the beautiful selection! Everything in there is beautiful. But that is only the beginning – the repair facility is amazing! I had some antique rings that were badly in need of repair, missing stones, etc. They were repaired to look better than new. They also do a great job sizing rings.
This is a family run business and everyone is pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are more than reasonable. I am referring everyone I know to the Jewel Box – it is literally a «treasure» on Campbell Avenue.

I came here to have my wedding rings redesigned. The set I originally had just wasn’t quite what I wanted. So I had the folks at the Jewel Box fix up my rings. The difference is like night and day, both rings turned out beautiful and I’m so happy I came to the Jewel Box to get this done. They gave me a great price too. The owner is very friendly and tries his best to make you happy. Overall it’s a great place that I recommend!

My review is way over due. Tod and everyone else are so wonderful, warm, gracious AND true artisans. From the moment you walk in, you are treated like family which is so nice because everyone in there is family — they know exactly what they are doing.
He personally designs a lot of the rings in the store and because of his craftsmanship, he can help you visualize exactly what you want — and then bring it to life. Much to my relief, Tod has helped my boyfriend and I work together to find exactly what I want!
We knew we wanted a round traditional ring with added diamonds around the centerpiece for extra oomph! Instead of using a buyer, Tod went to the jewelry district himself to find a stone that met his exact standards. Bling! There is no pretentiousness that you might find in another jewelry store and they are extremely professional and the presentation of the jewelry is beautiful. Tod is very intuitive, he is able to quickly «read» you as a couple and help with a design that matches the woman’s style and personality. I brought them a picture (ok, about 10) of what I had in mind and they worked with me to make it «my own.» They will give you honest feedback and no matter what your budget is, Tod will treat you with respect and appreciation. It’s also very sweet how Tod gets just as giddy and excited as the couple. He loves love and wants to make you as happy as possible. He was patient with us and answered all of our questions. He explained in detail how he makes the ring and selects the gems. At the end of the day, you are buying a very special, one-​of-​a-​kind piece of jewelry and for us at least, it was very important to have a special connection with the jeweler.
Then the designing begins. It’s great because Tod has an amazing vision for the pieces he designs. We met several times to discuss the details of the ring and the coolest part was the ring models he created so we could «try on» the ring before the real one comes to life.
When I saw the real thing, I was stunned. Even my boyfriend, a dude who doesn’t get excited about jewelry talked about Tod and the ring for a week straight! The ring he’s creating for me is amazing. Breathtaking. Spectacular. Stunning. OMG-​inducing. You get the idea.
It’s impossible for us to be happier with the engagement ring he’s designed and we can’t wait to see what he creates for my boyfriend’s wedding band — and many more anniversaries to come!
Throughout the whole experience, it never felt like we were customers. It felt like we were long time friends of the family. I am overwhelmed with joy and emotion, and have never felt so moved about a ring — and moreover — about a shop — than my experience at The Jewel Box has left me.
