Craig’s Auto Upholstery

Just got my headliner done in my Mazda. Took one day for the repair and my car looks brand new. I’ve used this place for over 20 years. Very maticulous at the work he performs. I’d recommend this place to anyone that wants QUALITY work at a fair price.

Craig finished my headliner, new vinyl top and installed new drip rails on my 1966 mustang and it looks AWESOME.

My husband has an ancient pickup truck that has seen better days, but we keep because it definitely comes in handy when I buy some obnoxiously large piece of furniture or art. The seats were torn up and all the stuffing was starting to come out, so I thought I would surprise him and get it re-​upholstered.
I found Craig on Unilocal and took the truck over to his shop. Craig gave me a quote, showed me some samples, and gave me an estimate of when it would be ready. He even noticed that the driver-​side window wasn’t functional and called a glass guy he knew to come work on the window while the truck was sitting at his shop getting re-​upholstered. And what do you know; the work was done just as he said, when he said, and for the price he said. How refreshing! He worked quickly, without any fuss or hassle, and the truck looks brand spanking new. Well, on the inside anyway :)
My only complaint is that now my husband is enjoying his truck so much with its swanky new interior and his fully functioning window that he wants to drive the truck around town instead of our car. Oh goody.

Just needed the bottom surround of my driver’s seat replaced, he quoted $ 250, took the car in next day and within 6 hours the seat was done. No fuss, no BS, no hidden charges. Craig is interesting and engaging, professional and fast, no short cuts, either. I highly recommend him. He is old school, and that is refreshing. I truly enjoyed working with him. Good guy.

I highly recommend Craig. He’s owned his shop for 51 years and has been in the business for five years more than that. He dies very very high quality work. I only had a small job for him – recovering the center console armrest. He did it very quickly and it looks just as good as new. Craig is a true gentleman too and nice to work with.

Excellent craftsman, great work, fair price and friendly service. Craig reupholstered the driver’s seat on my Jeep. Looks like new. Highly recommend his shop.

Another place my husband will only take his upholstery too, on his 1969 RS Z28. He says «Craig is the only person to take your upholstery work to».

Craig just fixed the back seat in my Grand Cherokee that had been chewed up by my dog. You can’t tell anything every happened. Great guy, great service and great prices.

I just had my car upholstery on my 20 year old car done at Craig’s. Craig New (the owner and person who does this work) is a wonderful and pleasant person who was great to deal with. He made the upholstery match perfectly with the existing leather and it truly looks like a new vehicle. The stitching and quality of the work is true craftsmanship and the work was done right on time. Having had so many bad experiences with other auto people, it was a pleasure going to Craig’s.

Craig refurbished the sagging headliner in my 18-​year-​old car about 3 years ago.
He was patient with my questions and laid out the options on how the work could be done
He also provided suggestions on diagnosing a leaky sunroof, which I believed was a potential cause of my headliner problem
New headliner came out great and still looks good today!

Went to Craig’s because my seat cover got burned by a cigarette (first and last cigarette ever smoked in my car)…I initially went to Honda as my car was brand new… they quoted me upwards of $ 300! Instead, I order the seat cover from Honda (like $ 50?) and came to Craig to install it ($ 35?). He’s such a nice guy and did a great job!

My baby (a 1988 Mazda RX-​7 convertible) sustained injury when some fool tried to steal the car by running a knife through its roof and headliner. Craig’s came recommended by a friend, and I was desperate to have the work done right.
I didn’t meet Craig until it was time to pick up the car, but by the time it was ready, he and I were old friends. He called me almost daily while the car was in his care, and he handled the dealings with my insurance company, making this unfortunate incident less of a headache for me.
The car came back looking great, and I will definitely be visiting Craig again when the time comes to reupholster the seats!
