D&L Movers

Great! Exceeded my expectations. Freddy was the leader of a team of 4. They were fast, efficient, professional, helpful, friendly and worked like dogs. Our house has a lot of stairs and we had a lot of stuff that needed to move to storage. This included heavy items (piano and pinball), fragile items (curio cabinets) and many, many boxes. Every item was carefully wrapped, protected and handled with care. They brought cardboard, plastic wrap and tape and carefully tracked what they used and provided an itemized bill at the end of the day. At the storage unit they were Tetras masters– they packed the unit incredibly efficiently and used every nook and cranny. It was amazing how much they fit in. They accomplished in a few hours what would have taken my husband and I many weekends on our own. It was worth every penny and saved our backs and knees. I will definitely use them again.

We just moved into our new home from San Diego last wknd and we had the BEST moving experience with this company from beginning to end. They know how excellent customer service should be represented! On the first conversation I had with one of the owners, I was able to set an appointment with his team that same day! I requested the soonest possible time, thinking it would be within the next few days or so, when luckily they were able to set a time for that late afternoon. A team of four gentlemen arrived, all very polite and respectful were ready to get to work. They got the job done in exactly two hours, which was quicker than what I anticipated. All four guys worked hard and communicated well together to make sure everything was handled with care and placed in the right rooms. A big thanks and shout out to Nico, Fred, Micah, and Matt for your help with our move! You guys are the best and I’m definitely recommending you guys to my family and friends! (My neighbor said you guys did an awesome job with their big move as well!)

Long-​distance move experience:
First the positives:
— this company is very responsive and friendly
— movers were extremely polite and worked hard
— they worked with me on pricing and I felt like I got a great deal
Now the negatives:
— damage to a dresser and an indoor potted tree due to shifting during transit (I didn’t bother to notify the owner or make a claim because this wasn’t a huge deal)
— they had to reschedule at the last minute due to another client’s delay. This delay was a big deal because it meant that we did not have time to wait until they were done so that we could clean the home.
— they PROMISED they would have the home cleaned — specifically all floors — and they did not.
As a result of the poor look of the house my landlord deducted $ 1,800 for cleaning and painting. This made the move not a great deal and also was disappointing that the owner did not deliver on his promise. (Maybe he thought I’d never find out because we had to leave before the truck was loaded but the landlord sent me photos of the entire home interior.)

It’s been a month since my move.
These guys moved me in just a few hours (2 bedroom apartment) They took care of my stuff and did all the heavy work! I am so thankful for Leo and his team for moving me.
They do offer packing services which I would definitely consider if I move again!
This is a no brainer! Quality customer service is hard to find these days. And these guys have it!

I was looking for a moving company had no idea who to call, I went on Unilocal and saw that this moving company had good reviews and a lot of 5 stars .
My situation was different because my husband and I we’re separating I was moving out he was staying, i was moving from a bigger place to a smaller and had accumulated many many years of memories and stuff .
We were also not on good terms. I was nervous That things were not going to go smooth. Well was I wrong. Hayden was in charge he was so professional and sweet and understanding which really helped.
He had 3 guys with him who were all in sync, they were professional but yet cracked some jokes here and there which lightened the mood for a very emotional day .
The owner Leo also showed up when my ex insisted on seeing the companies insurance and license before letting them remove my stuff. He even stayed a few hours and helped moved on his day off which really made an impression on me.
I was also stressed about all the garbage I had to dump and donations I had to drop off, no problem we stopped off at the goodwill to drop off all the donations and for a extra fee paid Hayden to drive all my garbage to the dump.
Lastly I wanted this quick and easy for me I was willing to pay whatever, however I didn’t realize how much stuff I really had accumulated so it took longer and I paid a lot more then I budgeted for but in the big picture, I got what I paid for, professionalism, great customer service, they were friendly and made me feel comfortable. I only wish I had been able to give these boys a bigger tip cause they really went above and beyond.
I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon but I would definitely use D & L movers and recommend them to everyone!!!

Second time we’ve used this company. They are good, good people who know how to pack and move. You are CRAZY to hire any other moving company!

D&L Movers Every Time!
These guys are the best. I’ve used them three times in the past 2 years (you might say I move a lot!) and I keep calling them because it doesn’t get better than D&L Movers! This time I decided that I wanted to also hire Packers. Three D&L ladies came over and packed up my entire apartment in about two hours. They were very friendly, courteous, and most importantly careful with my belongings. They packed everything very nicely and tagged all the boxes for me. What a relief not to have to do this myself! Yesterday I had my items moved. My appointment was scheduled for the morning but Drew (one of the owners) called me the evening before and asked if my timing was flexible for the next day; they had an issue with the move before me. It was so we moved my appointment to the afternoon. To thank me for my flexibility, Drew sent 4 movers for the price of 3! Thanks Drew! The guys kept in touch leading up to my appointment to let me know their ETA. They arrived on time and were all very polite and friendly. They worked so hard and I was all moved in a matter of 3.5 hours! Not only did they move my stuff but they were also kind enough to help me haul a heavy item to the trash that I couldn’t carry AND get a few stripped screws out of the wall. Talk about customer service! I love that in addition to doing a great job, all the people I’ve been in contact with from the company including both owners have been so friendly! Drew was very nice and even gave me a discount on my final bill because I keep coming back! :) Trust me — stop looking and call D&L!

Today Manny, Bernie, and Zach, (Red) came to Los Gatos to unload our large, stuffed POD.
They did a great Job, were very quiick and efficient, very helpful and had excellent attitudes.
The pricing was very fair, and they even took away my boxes at no extra charge.
All in all, very professional from my first phone call when I spoke with the owner, to the very considerate phone call the guys made on the way to the house. They were not a minute late.
Definately 5 star service for me today.

I was so ready to give a one star review after the appointment team had delayed my appointment twice without any notice on the day of my move out.
However, Fred and his crew did an awesome enough job to let me forget about all of that.
The crew were all respectful and hard working, which you can always appreciate.
No damage has been found besides a hole in my wallet from the actual move cost.
These guys are in the pricey zone, but they seemed to be working very efficiently. My past moving company came out to about 80% of their cost but broke my bed.
Bottom line, recommend.

I have had the pleasure of working with D&L movers for two moves in the past 3 years, the moist recent being last week. For the second move there was no question, they did such a good job the first time it was a no brainier. I schedule the move work Drew who made it very easy. On the day of the move a received a call from Zach informing me they were en route. Both times there was a crew 4 guys, all great guys and they get right to work.
All I can say it that these guys deliver! Very professional and easy to communicate with. We have been more than happy with both moves. I recommend D&L to anyone who is moving, there is piece of mind working with a company does what they say they will when they say they will.

Amazing experience. I had move today from a 4 bedroom 2 story house to another home. I was skeptical because I never used movers before but thank goodness I did. They were prompt and they planned out the whole move accordingly. They brought six guys and everyone was very friendly and professional. The great part was that they fit right in with my boyfriend and his brother which made the move even more fun and smooth. I recommend them to everyone. Luckily, I don’t have to move again anytime soon since I bought this house, but if I did, I would use them again! Thanks guys!!!

Our move was handled efficient, swiftly and professional. They are GREAT!

If I could give 6 stars I would. I hired D&L based on a referral from a friend who also was very happy w their service. I had a crew of 6 guys, all very personable and professional. They clearly wanted us to b happy. They rolled out the red carpet, padded corners and efficiently moved us out of a 5 bedroom, 2 story house. Nothing was damaged. They took time in the new house to place everything where we wanted it. Offered to rearrange furniture to our liking and they almost made moving fun. The crew worked together as a team and maneuvered large pieces of furniture w ease. I highly recommend D&L Movers. I was a bit worried about the fact that our agreement was made over the phone without a written contract but all my worries vanished when they showed up on time and worked hard to deliver!

This place was great! They were amazing at fitting us in pretty last minute for such a busy weekend. We even changed our location of where we were moving to and they were super flexible. Great customer service over the phone and in person! They were so efficient moving everything we will definitely use them again for our next move. Thank you!

These guys are great. Our move date kept changing and my stress level was pretty high. I was concerned that we wouldn’t be able to find a mover on our move date. Drew assured me that they would be able to accommodate me even at the last minute. On the date of our move I got a confirmation at 8 am that they would be there at 9. They showed up at 8:30. They loaded up all of our stuff in about 3 hours. Then they moved it over to the new house. They put the bed and and a crib back together. I thought for sure I’d have to do that. They made sure each box was in the right room and offered to move any furniture that I felt wasn’t in the right place. It took another 3 hours to unload everything.
The cost was reasonable and helped take a huge weight off. Leo, Nikko, Zack and Manny were great. I hope I never move again but if I have to I’d call these guys.

I had a complicated two-​part move. Had to move our of my house into a storage facility for a week, then into my new house. The company that moved me out was terrible, lousy, broke 3 pieces of furniture… then on the day they were supposed to move me in, they didn’t show up, call, or email… just left me standing at my facility. I was screwed.
So I got on Unilocal and the phone and started calling people to find a new mover. Drew from D&L was professional from the very 1^st call. Got me a quote immediately to move it the very next morning. They showed up on-​time, took the stuff out of storage, pointed out damage from the previous movers and actually repaired many of the items on the spot, re-​wrapped everything professionally, loaded it in the truck and off we went.
They moved my entire home. They were courteous, thorough, helpful, worked hard, professional, pleasant, clean, careful. I couldn’t be happier and more pleased with them. We’ve already contracted with them to move another family member, and are having them quote this week on moving our 50,000 sq ft company. These are the guys to choose.

I had no interest, time or patience to pack up and physically move my things to the new house so I started shopping around for professional movers. I left a voice message for Drew and he called back within the hour. He was confident in being able to provide an accurate quote over the phone, which I appreciated. Of the 4 local companies I spoke to, Drew gave me the most comfort in being able to deliver on his commitments.
I have a 6 bedroom, 3 bath, 2500 SF home and they had 7 people show up for the day to pack. They were on-​time, everyone introduced themselves and immediately got to work. Everyone was polite, sweet, nice and just cool! They packed EVERYTHING in my house in 4.5 hours! I came back and was flabbergasted! There was NOTHING left unpacked. I’m pretty sure I walked around looking like a kid in a candy shop, totally giddy that everything was done.
On the day of the move, Drew, Leo, Matt, Hayden, Zach, Jose and Josh showed up (most of whom looked like body builders). There was not a moment of idle time. Everyone was hustling but, Zach, in particular was flying! They moved our potted palm trees (I’m guessing it’s 200+ pounds) and a baby grand piano like they were fluffy pillows.
My husband and I have unpacked quite a bit and everything was packed with care and there is no damage to either house.
I could not be happier to have found and used D&L Movers. I never imagined I would rave so much about a moving company but they have far surpassed any expectations I had.

These guys are fantastic! They took my job with 2 days notice. They had 5 guys and they moved us for 15 hrs… only stopping for lunch. Polite, courteous, hard working, reliable, prompt, nice guys!!! It’s like having a football team in your house. They can move just about anything with ease. Items are always protected. They made a long hard move go quickly & easily. They even came back the next day to bring a few heavy items. I’d use them again in a heartbeat!!!

If you are moving call these guys! We cannot recommend them enough.
Professional, quick and so clean. All if our furniture arrived in tact and they take every care to ensure floors, doors etc are not damaged whilst everything is being moved in.
We had four men come in and they did not stop working for four solid hours. They were extremely friendly and polite, consulting with us the whole way. They get extra points for being so nice to my four year old son who was super keen to assist!
Such an easy moving experience, if we could give 10 * we would. Made a stressful experience absolutely seamless. Thank you!!!

After my last super stressful move I decided to try and make this move easier on myself and my family. I did an easy search on Unilocal and found D&L Movers.
From the first phone call, I was sold. Drew, the owner, answered my call and all of my questions. He is very friendly and professional.
Moving day came and we planned to meet at 9 am, at my storage facility. When I arrived at 8:50a the movers were already there waiting for me. We were off to a great start! It only took them two hours to empty my storage and deliver everything safely to my new home. It was the same amount of time that they had predicted it would take. They rolled out the red carpet and were very careful with my new hardwood floors and all of my belongings made it safely inside.
I am very satisfied with the service I received from Drew and everyone else at D&L Movers! Thank you!
