Golden Glow Tanning

If I could give them 6 stars I would because they deserve that and more. The entire staff is very friendly, bubbly and outgoing, they even remember me by name. They sell the best lotions, and the beds are always clean as well as the entire salon. I’ve been a client for 4yrs now, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, they are all so knowledgable about their products, and it’s always a consistently great experience.

Fast and easy. Easy parking, unlike the rest of Campbell. Helpful staff.

I am SO GLAD I found this place! It is fantastic! I’ve been to a lot of places in the past but GG has superior airbrush results — by far. The helpful, patient and knowledgeable owner is what makes this place great! Love it!

Love this place… The only place I’ve ever tanned and the only place I’ll ever tan! Staff is friendly and helpful and the owner has been so sweet and helpful. I once left my wedding ring in a room after a tan and thankfully it was found and returned to me right away. Not only do I love that golden glow I get after 11 minutes, I like the feeling of trusting a place I do business with! Go get your tan on!!!

Possibly one of the best places to get some Sun on the Buns! The staff is great and very informative. It was my first time tanning and I was unsure if it was even for me, that all changed when I was greeted by a semi tanned Angel! Her voiced cooed me into a sense of security and as she guided me into the ways of the tanning arts I was sold! I highly recommend this place! When my Future child is born she or he will be coming here!!!

This is my 2^nd time using their custom spray tanning services– once for my engagement session and recently for my wedding. My technician was the same both times and she is amazing. I am super fair and she gave me a natural glow that photographed beautifully. You have to strip down for these tans but she made me feel super comfortable AND she came in before the salon even opened to make sure I was tan before I left for our out of town wedding. I would and will use them again. Thank you!

This place is super clean and the people who work here are very friendly. Pricing is affordable. Its conveniently located in campbell, just outside of the main downtown so parki g is never an issue. This is a cute little tanning salon, not overly done with too many bed options or 20 different crazy tanning level packages offered. I’m a more simplified type of person and don’t like when I go into a tanning salon and get bombarded with «buy this elite membership and tan in 12 different style beds for $ 150 a month» I used to work at a tanning salon as my very first job so I know how these things work… this place has exactly what u need to get a nice tan, they always change out bulbs in beds ontime, they offer 2 stand up beds, air brush tanning, 2 higher level beds– 11 minutes, and I believe like 4 regular beds you can do 20 minutes in (don’t quote me I’m not sure of the exact time in regular beds) I have done the airbrush tan here and I had great results… most of the time at other places I’ve felt like «snookie» after being sprayed but golden glow uses a different type of base color in their solution that doesn’t make my skin orange. i like it. I suggest giving this place a try, at least walk in and talk to teisha or the girls and look at the place, cleanliness is big for me and these girls do an amazing job at keeping the salon spotless.

Love love love this place! Have gone twice for a spray tan — once for my engagement party and again for a wedding. Never disappointed in the service or the tan. I’m very fair and the spray tan is always very natural looking and never orange!
Everyone is incredibly nice especially the manager. She’s very helpful and will answer any questions you have. I will definitely be returning again very soon! :)

Just started tanning and this place, which was a recommendation by one of my employees is awesome! Friendly and helpful staff. The beds are clean, the rates are right and I have not had a problem with it being too crowded. I plan to keep coming back. My membership is up on the 21^st. I will be renewing it for sure!

I was getting ready for a photoshoot and needed to get tan quickly. I came across this salon and decided to try them out. I’m so happy with my results. The beds tanned so well, the customer service was A+. I really enjoyed my experience with them.

I had a wedding to go to and wanted to get an airbrush tan. I decided to go to this salon based on their reviews. I did the organic airbrush and the double dip after. I was ecstatic about the results. This was the best airbrush I’ve ever had! It looked completely natural and exactly what I needed. The customer service was fantastic. The facility was bright and clean. I will definitely be returning.

So I started a Unilocal profile just because of this place! What a horrible experience, the manager is a complete bitch. The service is… well there isn’t any. You walk in and wait for 5 min until one of the workers pokes a head around the corner. The tanning beds are disgusting. My advice don’t go! Not worth the trouble.
No, this isn’t a competition company my last name is petersen, and I am a ex costumer of your company. This just furthers my opinion on your company. Instead of blaming me why don’t you look at yourself?

Very positive first time customer experience. They have competitive prices and excellent customer service. The staff made me feel welcome and they have a very good reputation.

This place deserves a negative star. 1^st impression last forever. Rude lady name Tammy… not welcoming at all! I don’t know what her problem is but probably bc I’m asian and wasn’t all dolled up! I asked a simple question about what type of stand-​up she has and she answered «what do you mean» with her roller on her head, looking at me like I’m dumb. I’ve been to soo many tanning salons and I just want to bc there’s salons with certain limit on how long u can be in it etc. She’s not welcoming at all. She needs to work on her customer service skills.

When I lived in Campbell I visited this salon and signed up for a monthly tanning package that charge my credit card monthly. There was not a time element to the agreement. To cancel required a thirty day cancellation notice.
I have since moved out of the area, and probably as no surprise I forgot to go into the salon and cancel my package. Noticing the monthly charges I was still getting, despite not having been to the salon in several months. I called to cancel my service.
The woman I spoke to was very rude. Insisting that I had to come in to sign the cancellation agreement. She could not email the form to me. She told me that she could make an exception for me and go out of her way to email me a copy. Then, she proceeded to question my identity and validity of my mailing address… as if I was the one scamming her. I threatened to cancel my credit card and she said she would take me to collections. Is that even legal?
Awful!!! Don’t get scammed by these people.

Beware — the Unilocal check-​in deal has a lot of restrictions. I bought a new-​client package ($ 25 for 6 tans in 30 days). I had trouble getting all 6 tans in that amount of time. The beds (lowest level) were decent but definitely low level. The first time I visited I was skeptical — the blonde lady at the desk seemed annoyed by my asking for the Unilocal check-​in deal. She got friendlier every time I went in though…
I probably won’t return — tanning package prices and beds aren’t great in comparison to other local shops.

I have tanned at other locations in the past, but Golden Glow is by far the best. It is affordable, and the staff is very friendly;)

I started going to Golden Glow about four years ago, and to this day I am still impressed with the friendly and helpful staff, the seasonal specials and deals, the cleanliness of the salon and the convenient location. The employees always remember my name and are helpful and knowledge of the tanning industry. I feel very comfortable at Golden Glow, and would never think to go anywhere else!
Not only do they have a great variety of beds (standard, high intensity and stand ups), but their airbrushes are the best I have ever gotten! The employees are very experienced when it comes to airbrushes, so they have always turned out very natural looking.
Needless to say, if you are looking for your new tanning salon in San Jose– this is it!

This place is about as basic as it gets. No frills at all whatsoever. Nothing here is terrible, but also nothing exceptional. I was drawn in by the 6 tan for $ 25 for new customers because I just wanted too get a base tan before a trip. Will I be back? Probably not just because there are so many tanning places in the area that put this tanning place to shame.
The customer service is also about as basic as it gets. The employees get the job done, but they definitely don’t make you feel welcomed or go above and beyond in anyway. You even have to clean up after yourself (bring your own towel to the dirty bin in the hallway). Maybe this is standard for lower-​end tanning places and I’m just being critical.
My recommendation: take advantage of their deals for new customers, but don’t commit to anything unless you like subpar services.

Great customer service. My airbrush came out really well, prob could of been spraye a little more in a few areas but ill be goin back!
