History

Established in 1992.

A New Day Healing Arts has been in Campbell since July of 1998. It is very accessable from Highway 17, and 85 as well as 280. Coming from San Jose or Los Gatos area you can find us very easily. The office is Feng Shuied for your health and relaxing comfort. Feng Shui is the art of energy flow and placement of things in the enviroment.

I have actually been in my Acupuncture business and practice for 17 years working on 18.

I also supervise in the Clinic with students at Five Branches University where I graduated from in Santa Cruz Ca.

My history since my early 20’s has been in Holistic Health and the study of Natural Healing Modalities. I had practiced Yoga and Meditation for many years before I was licensed as a Theraputic Massage Therapist. I fell in LOVE with the Healing Arts which lead me to want to experience even deeper ways to help people and to heal myself as well. I discovered Acupunture in the early 80’s. It changed my life in a wonderful, grounded way along with improving my health and over all well being. I LOVED it so much it was what I knew I was to do for others. The journey began with much struggle and challenge BUT I graduated in 1991. I became licensed and began my practice in 1992,17 years ago. The journey became a mission which has taken me into many peoples lives. It has improved and strengthened my own life path and opened up much inner healing as well. I plan to practice and make a differnce as long as I am able, bringing more and more WISDOM into the gift of Acupuncture. Namaste’ Jacquelyn

Ok, I have heard those who go to acupuncturists love them but I never thought I would be one to try it.
I had some sinus issues that weren’t responding to the usual OTC medicines. I googled alternatives, tried all if them, with minimal results. I was desperate, so I emailed Jacquelyn and was seen the next day! She takes her time getting to know you and what concerns you have on the first visit and does a great job of explaining her process and trying to make you comfortable.
I am so impressed with the results that I will be considering acupuncture first for future needs.

Jacquelyn helped me get rid of a issue that was close to chronic for years and conventional medicine did nothing to help prevent recurrance. All conventional medicine could offer was drugs which addressed the situation but couldn’t really prevent unless I kept taking the strong stuff on a daily basis.

This is the second time in my life that I have ever tried accupuncture. After having eight weeks in bed with sciatica and left very weak from the experience a few people suggested accupuncture. I Unilocaled and found Jacquelyn — I liked what I read but even more I love the experience I have when I go to her practice. She has a wonderful way about her, she is knowledgable about accupuncture and very spiritual. I have been three times now and each time I go I have my ahhahh moment and feel wonderful afterwards.

Jacquelyn has a special touch. She has been helping me with migraines for a few years, and my body feels out-​of-​balance now if I don’t see her regularly. She also helped my husband with a shoulder injury, my mother-​in-​law, grandfather, and several friends. I know she has helped many people with fertility issues too. She is awesome, and the needles don’t hurt at all. It’s actually very relaxing, and I usually fall asleep during the treatment.

Jacquelyn Lorell is a gifted acupuncturist. She helped me through out my kidney donation process and now through my first pregnancy. I honestly do not believe I would have had such an easy time getting pregnant (9 months after donating a kidney) if it were not for her. She also sees my husband for allergies and sleep and has helped him tremendously.

Hi have so many stories to tell you about how Jacquelyn has helped me through acupuncture. I love her calming personality, she has a gift when it comes to healing. She helped me through my first pregnancy — and helped me go into labor. She has helped me overcome flu’s and colds. She helped me conceive my second child. One thing I wish I could shout from the roof tops is how she helped me while in labor at the hospital. I delivered with midwives and decided I did not want medication. I asked if Jacquelyn would come to help with pain relief though needles. Nothing could have prepared me for how much PAIN RELIEF she gave me. The needle points she did on my ears helped calm my nerves instantly. It was a miracle. In between contractions I have never felt so relaxed. I felt like I was at a spa, or like I could fall asleep. If you have ever given birth before, you know that during parts of your labor, you start to shake. Well Jacquelyn totally relieved me of the shakes during and after my labor by acupuncture. Thank you Jacquelyn! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful healer in my life.

I met Jacquelyn when I was looking for another alternative to a heavy-​duty drug treatment I was on for my cicatricial alopecia (I was taking the kind of drug they give to transplant patients after surgery so their bodies won’t reject the new organ). I figured that 4 years of drugs was enough, and did not want to put my body trough that anymore.
Of course I was concerned about losing my hair again, but to my surprise Jacquelyn’s treatment worked wonders on me, not only my hair did not fall anymore, but I fell so much better in general, had more energy, less colds, etc. And it also helped us to conceive our first baby! He came on the first try (I am in my late 30s) and I had a really easy pregnancy throughout. And I attribute all this to Jacquelyn’s magic hands with the needles.
Jacquelyn also helped a good friend of mine get pregnant when they were on the verge of IVF, after years of failed attempts.
I have no reservations recommending Jacquelyn. Give her a try and you won’t be disappointed.

My family has been receiving acupuncture treatments from Jacquelyn for 5+ years. She has been amazing at working with me pre/​post-​natal in addition to helping me find relief with my allergies, knees, and feet.
This past year, I began a program of bi-​monthly acupuncture treatments and Chinese herbs and had no sinus infections. (That is in comparison to the previous year when I had 3 sinus infections in 1 month and took 3 different antibiotics to treat them.)
Because of my a completely natural regimen of acupuncture, herbs and saline nasal spray, I am a happier, healthier person.

You want to stick needles in me!!! And that’s going to make my wrists and back feel better!!! Ha! Earth to holistic/​ancient medicine: We have these items called drugs. We call them Advil, Tylenol, Bayer, etc. They make you feel better. It’s called science. Look into it.
Well folks, that’s how I felt before trying acupuncture for the first time. I had done the Advil, ice and heat routine and things were not improving. My mother suggested acupuncture and I caved… I needed relief. And relief was not spelled T-​U-​M-​S.
My mother had received a recommendation from her best friend to A New Day Healing Arts with acupuncturist Jacquelyn Lorell. They both had gone multiple times and had nothing but positive comments about Jacquelyn and the work she did. I followed suit and made an appointment.
The first thing that impressed me with Jacquelyn is her presence, it immediately puts you at ease, relieving some of the anxiety I had. I’m not scared of needles by any stretch of the imagination but the whole process seemed a little far-​fetched but I was trying to be a believer.
A little bit of paperwork and a short Q&A session and I was ready to go. The treatment room has the same atmosphere as a massage; a little incense, Enya in the background, the massage table… you get the idea.
Let the needle sticking begin! Starting in the face, Jacquelyn placed over 50 needles on me. Mostly on the face, arms and feet. After she’s placed the needles she leaves the room to let the needles do the work, checking in from time to time. After 30 to 45 minutes she removes the needles and you’re good to go, though the healing process continues for several hours after the treatment.
A month later, I’m here to report my wrists and back still feel amazing. Got some ailments? Western medicine not giving you a happy ending? Give acupuncture a try.
