Kaplan Chiropractic Offices

I am sad that I am leaving Dr. Kaplan as I am moving to San Francisco and will not be in the South Bay any longer. After reading the reviews I echo all of the wonderful praises people have written about him. In regards to Anthony G. and Oscar, Dr. Kaplan is the first to advise you that chiropractics isn’t for everyone and some adjustments do involve some pain at times. The key to remedy this is to call and let Dr. Kaplan know about it. He can’t do anything to help if he doesn’t know.
I have complete faith in Dr. Kaplan. So much so, I let him adjust my lower back which I had surgery on many years ago. I NEVER let any chiropractor touch that area. But I let Dr. Kaplan try adjusting the area. It was amazing and took a great deal of pain away. I thanked my lucky stars to have found him and I was his patient and friend for several years.
This guy is not only a great doctor but he’s also a mench (a good person).
I recommend him very, very highly.

I have been seeing Dr. Kaplan for about 12 years now. I found him via my insurance network and his old office on Lincoln Av was very close to my house. I got lucky. I went in initially with neck issues and was exploring this as being part of a medical problem I was having a hard time getting to the bottom of. In addition, I have had some lower back problems for many years. After some aggressive treatment, I eventually got on a monthly treatment schedule and have been seeing him ever since. His move to Hamilton Av was convenient, so I stuck with him. My neck and spine are much better now, and with maintenance, I have never been as locked up as I was for years prior to seeking treatment. Dr. Kaplan is a cool guy and he knows his stuff. And it is nice when you are a regular at a place to the point where they know your name when you walk in the door. :)

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Kaplan for over 14 years… since our late 20’s. He is an extremely experienced and effective Gonstead chiropractor that we both highly respect and recommend. His motto is, «come in when you need me!» or «see you in a month or two!» His staff is very friendly and does their best to work you into his schedule even if you do not have an appointment.

I was referred to Dr Jeffrey Kaplan, by Jeff Kaplan the Vascular Doctor, for nerve pains on my left calf. The first visit he took x-​rays to check my spine. During the second visit, he hit and push my lower back, so hard, that for the next week, I was in excruciating pain, and to be able to have a decent sleep, I had to take pain killers. I got scared so much, that he had damaged my back, so I ran to my primary doctor and he sent me for an x-​ray and an MRI. They found out that I had a crack on my bottom vertebra. He did not take my insurance and for all this pain and suffering I had to pay $ 340.00 out of my pocket, for three visits. Eventually taking Vicodin pills for so many days, I started feeling better. Later I had to find a real doctor to take care the pains on my leg with cortisone shots. Of course I am responsible who I listened to the Vascular doctor who knew an excellent (?) chiropractor with a zero personality, that he would put me out of my pains. I am still wondering what was the referral reward.
I GUESS DR KAPLAN IS PAYING LOTS OF MONEY TO MAINTAIN A HIGH PROFILE AND REPUTATION. I AM WONDERING HOW MUCH MONEY HE HAS SPENT TO ALL THOSE PROFESSIONALS WRITERS THAT COMPILING FOR HIM THE FIVE STARS REVIEWS. PLEASE READ JOHN O, REVIEWS.

Dr. Kaplan is simply excellent. After an injury and 5 years of weekly chiropractic treatment and medical care while still suffering it took about 6 weeks of treatments with Dr Kaplan to get me PAIN FREE! He has maintained my heathy condition for over 8 years and I go back as needed. Unfortunately I had to leave the area and have not found care nearly as good so when ever I am back in town Dr. Kaplan is a required visit. The best in the Bay Area! Most of my family now see Dr Kaplan, including my 90 year old mother, we all benefit from his precise adjustments and care!

You’ve seen all the other 5-​star reviews — not much more I can add — but I owe it to this great Dr to put in my 2 cents. Dr Kaplan has been my primary Dr for over 15 years. When I have back pain or a stuck neck, I get there and get helped. I usually call ahead and make sure the wait is not too long. I always get seen promptly, either way. Dr Kaplan knows I like a good crack, but is restrained nonetheless. He absolutely will not dispense unnecessary care, and if he doesn’t work on me for some reason — usually b/​c I need more time to heal — there is no charge. He is definitely not about the money.

Dr. Kaplan is fantastic! He seems to be able to cure any aches and pains!

Dr Kaplan is a great Chiropractor.
I have been going to Dr Kaplan for about 10 years now.
I go to get tune up every 3 mos or so, more often when I overdo it.
One time I fell off a ladder & could hardy even walk.
Within a few adjustments I felt better.
I tell everyone to go to a Chiropractor– and refer Dr Kaplan all the time.
I feel the Gonstead Technique he uses sets him apart–
And he has a good personality– keep it up the good work!

Dr. Kaplan is amazing, and so are the front desk ladies, Judy and Lois. I’ve been seeing him for a few months now and I feel 10 million times better every time I leave his office. I started off going twice a week, then it went down to once a week, and now it is once every two weeks. Eventually, I will probably be down to once every few months. He is reasonably priced and well worth every penny.
He also has a really great stick stretching class that I attended and showed us some techniques that we can practice at home to prolong the time in between visits.

Dr. K is awesome. I used to be in a ton of pain, for years. I work out almost everyday, am extremely active, but it hurt to sit at my desk for more than an hour (the unable to concentrate type of pain). Im 29 and had a bad car accident when i was 21. For years there was no solution, except for Kaiser prescribed vicodin. Coming to Dr. K i feel a lot better. the pain is still there but its manageable and light years ahead of where it was. He’s a great guy, straight forward and honest. You can get in and out quickly and he does whatever he can to accommodate my schedule. Thanks Dr. K!

I love Dr Kaplan. I was having pain just after my the birth of my son, and back pain due to nursing. He adjusted my sacrum, mid-​back and neck. I felt like a new person, could breathe easier and walk without pain. While a lot of chiropractors want to see you regularly forever ($$), his approach is to get you on a plan than decreases your visits to an as-​needed basis. He’s got a great demeanor, strength of character and funny. I recommend him as often as possible.

Dr. Kaplan is easily the most talented, caring, effective chiropractor I have ever seen (and there have been several). I recommend him without hesitation. In fact, once I moved to the Bay Area proper, after shopping around for several years for someone who could even approach Dr. Kaplan’s level of care and expertise, I started making the trek to San Jose to get great care — he’s just worth it! His office staff are tremendous as well. The new massage therapist he has on staff is just superb. If you’re looking for a chiropractor, you won’t do better than Jeff Kaplan.

I have been seeing Dr. Kaplan since before I can remember. Hes terrific. If your looking for your pain to eased fast, and for someone who also knows what hes doing look no further. Hes always professional and very personal as well. I have had pain and numbness in my shoulder and hand for going on 4 mnths and after the first appointment it already felt better, of course you have to keep going to have any long term results but I’m 4 appointments in and my shoulder feels 100 times better. In addition to just being the best in his field, cost is hard to beat!

Was given Dr. Kaplan’s name from a person I knew saying he was a good chiropractor. I was really out of alignment and he took me the day I called in. I was so bad he suggested multiple visits and I did and I started feeling better the next day.
There is an office in Boulder Creek as well which he goes to on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Dr. Kaplan has been my Chiropractor for the past few years. He is the best I have ever had and has addressed a variety of health issues such as ear infections, eye twitching, back pains, shoulder pains, and sprained ankle. He has saved me from getting procedures that medical doctors wanted to try. I also did not need to take medicine that my medical doctors tried to give me for pain.
I have referred many family and friends and they treasure him too!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kaplan since I was 6 years old (I’m now 27) and couldn’t be happier. He has always taken good care of me and the friends I have referred to him have reported back nothing but good things.
