I never actually used this place because I could NEVER get a response other than a text. I had an electrical problem. I called the # listed and it said leave a voicemail or text them. I did both. The text response was text the problem to them. It is a complicated problem and I really wanted to talk to a live person via the phone. NEVER happened. I tried again a week later no response. As to how good they are I don’t know, but by the way they have lack of communication I would not recommend them. And would not expect much if they ever do contact you.

I cannot say enough good things about Matt and his team at Orchard City RV. I had decided to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday with a trip to Sand Mountain, NV complete with an RV and some sort of quad. After some research I contacted Matt who quickly responded with all of the information I needed. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very patient answering the MANY questions I had! He even helped me keep everything a surprise from my boyfriend until the final day! With his advice I decided on renting the toy hauler and Polaris RZR 1000. He was very flexible with the pick up time and location and both the toy hauler and RZR were in great condition. All of this already would have given me reason to give him 5 stars but his service really went above and beyond when shortly after leaving our truck’s transmission blew out on the freeway. He not only was willing to help us get the trailer back safely by sitting on the side of the freeway for more than two hours (while we had tow truck issues), but he also worked with us to find another rental option so we could still have an amazing unforgettable trip. We ended up renting one of the motor homes with a trailer attached to the back so we could still bring the RZR. He even gave us a ride back to his lot from the side of the freeway in his personal vehicle. By the time all of this was done it was close to midnight and he had to be up before 6am the next morning! Thanks to Matt we still had an unbelievable trip and we couldn’t have asked for anything more with the motor home and RZR. He was even available if we had any questions or concerns while we were in NV. The drop off was also extremely smooth and the price for everything couldn’t of been better! Matt truly went above and beyond for us and is a true example of what a business owner should be.

I rented 2 ATVs and a 14′ trailer for a Pismo (Oceano Dunes) trip over Halloween weekend from Orchard City RV. One unconventional aspect is that there appears to be no physical storefront or retail location associated with this business. Rather, it appears that the owner, Matt, runs the whole operation using web, e-​mail and texting with customers. When you are ready to get the equipment you meet Matt at a public place, such as a Caltrain station, to pick up and then drop off the equipment. While this was a bit unnerving at first, it turned out to be no problem, and perhaps is even a «plus» because it keeps prices lower by reducing overhead. I found Matt to be very responsive with communications, and patient with my various questions, such that there was really no need for a storefront anyway. The trailer and the ATVs were in good working condition, and they worked as expected the whole weekend. The trailer and ATVs were fully up to date on the required plates and stickers. Matt was timely, straightforward and reasonable to work with. Overall it was a positive experience. I will be a return customer.

Just returned the slingshot after taking a three day trip down hwy 1. My husband and I had a blast and Matt was such a great guy to work with! Will keep him in mind for future rentals and will definitely be recommending him to our friends and family!

Great service, rented a 4 seater RZR and brought it to Pismo. It had an issue on the clutch after a couple of days riding which could not have been known. Matt sent down another one for us to have the next morning!

Our family vacations are week long treks to SVRA’s; Carnegie and Hollister Hills. For the past two years we have rented a Toy Hauler from Matt… delivered and ready to go. It’s nice to have air conditioning, plug n play music, and the perfect camp set up during long and hot days of riding. We add a generator to our package, the toy hauler has a gas tank to keep us from having to run into town each day and the process is amazingly simple… and very affordable. The equipment is well maintained, and Matt is just a text or email away for anything. We highly recommend OCRV!

Rented two quads from OCRV I also needed a trailer but they were all rented out, Matt went out of his way and got us a trailer also and when it came time to hook the trailer up the electrical outlet on my truck was bad and he replaced the ekectrical. Matt made a awesome experience renting the quads, had a great time at Pismo. Thanks Matt.

What else is there to say when you recieve good customer service from someone? Matt was great to deal with and made the scary process of renting a UTV and trailer a breeze. The UTV he rented us came with paddel tires and an upgraded rollcage, he even included a spare drive belt and axle just in case I broke something out at Pismo Dunes. I would use him again and have already recommended him to my family and friends.

I got solar panels and a controller installed on my trailer by Matt, I can definitely recommend his services!
He was on time, early actually, and met me at my trailers storage facility.
He followed me into the storage area to my trailer and once we got to the trailer I explained what I wanted. I already had the panel, wiring, mounting hardware and controller purchased off Amazon.
He got to work right away, inspecting the trailer for the best wiring path and was on the roof in minutes. Mounted the panel securely and passed the wiring into the trailer via a closet. From there we went down to the storage compartment and over to the batteries.
He wired everything up for me and mounted the controller in the battery bay. He also tested all of the electrical with his meter to ensure everything was working correctly.
No fuss, easy to work with and we exchanged many emails prior to ensure everything would go smooth.
I’d highly recommend him to anyone that needs service on their RV!

Matt was great to deal with and very responsive. I had to return a Uhaul trailer I rented in SF by 7pm, and he met me halfway between SF and Campbell, so I could drop off the ATV, and be back to Uhaul in time. The ATV ran great and was well maintained. Great work guys, keep up the good work!

I rented two quads from Matt at OCRV: the Honda trx 400ex and the Suzuki 250. Both were a blast to ride, and were in great shape. I would say that the 400 was a bit more fun just because it has a full 5 speed manual transmission and of course a bit of extra power. The 250 was no slouch though, and kept up with the 400 just fine for us novice riders. The 250 has a clutch-​less «manual» transmission. We brought them out to Hollister Hills SVRA using OCRV’s ~12′ trailer, which we also rented for a small fee.
We made some small talk while at HH with some random guy who was surprised that our machines were rentals because they looked so good. This is a testament to how well Matt keeps these maintained. I never had any issues with them, but I knew that he was only a cell phone call away if we needed anything. He was easy to work with and we exchanged many emails and phone calls throughout the process. When I picked up the machines he gave me a tutorial on how to operate them. This was very much appreciated because I had never ridden ATVs before. As it turns out, they’re just like motorcycles but with two extra wheels.
We paid about $ 400 for the full weekend with the two ATVs and trailer, and Matt and Gabe were super flexible with the pickup and drop off times and locations. They even let me borrow a ball hitch free of charge and installed everything for me when I arrived. I felt like a bit of a goon just standing there watching them work, but they were super nice about it. I price checked some other places nearby (there really aren’t many in the bay area), and OCRV offered the best value.
Note that they do not currently have helmet rentals, so you would need to find one on your own. If you don’t have anyone to borrow from, the most cost effective option we found was the Bilt brand of motocross helmets from Cycle Gear in SJ. We got ours for $ 55 on sale, and will probably try to sell them on Craigslist or something now. You will probably also want to wear gloves, but any old work gloves or mechanics gloves will work great. Goggles are a good idea too — we used ski goggles.
I would definitely recommend Matt and OCRV for any future ATV rentals. I hope to have the opportunity to try renting an RV from him in the future as well.

Matt is the best. The trailer is always clean and ready to go. We have rented his toys for the last 3 years and will continue to use his toys until we get our own. Pick up is easy convenient and quick. Matt always addresses any questions we have even after the rental. We love Orchard City RV!

Matt was great to me and very easy to work with. Matt made the process of renting easy and non-​threatening all the way! I just spent the week with the Jet Skis. Needless to say our whole group loved the Skis and had so much fun. I ended up breaking one of the mirrors off of one of the Skis (why are those even there) and Matt dealt with the situation professionally and fairly. I was surprised how fast he was able to get me a part, shipping and labor cost then refund the remaining deposit (less than 5 hours).
I will definitely rent from Orchard City RV again!

I rented the Razor RZR from Orchard City RV and was very pleased. The machine was fast and worked extremely well in the Pismo dunes. Matt was very professional and I would gladly rent from him again!

I have rented both trailers and toy haulers from Orchard City over the past 5 years. Matt has been very helpful in all the aspects of the trailers. He knows his equipment and it is clean and well maintained.
Matt is accommodating on pick up and drop off. The rental process is streamlined and easy to complete.
Even though I have my own trailer now, I will still rent from Matt when I need something bigger.

We rented the 27′ travel trailer last month for our week long camping trip, and we were so happy with Matt’s great communication and customer service skills! He went over all the uses of the rig. It was clean and in great working order. We had a question while we were on vacation, and he answered the email right away. We liked him and his rig so much, we booked it again for this month! Thanks for providing a great trailer!

We’ve rented a pair of Jet Skis from Matt at Orchard City RV a couple times now. We have a yearly guys camping trip we take to Lake Camanche, and wanted some Jet skis to bring with us. Matt is an easy guy to deal with, and made the whole rental process very streamline and painless. They accept cash and credit, and are very flexible with pickup and drop off times.
The jet skis themselves were pretty badass. I mean, who doesnt want to ride on a turbocharged jet ski that can do 65mph? They are well taken care of and run great. We had a ton of fun, and will continue to rent from them in the future.
I never knew it, but they have other rentals as well… ATVs, travel trailer, RV, and even a toy hauler. Great company with great selection. We’ll be back.
