I probably won’t ever use this florist again. Not because the flowers weren’t delivered, or the price was bad, but the service was pretty horrible. I called this shop the night before I wanted some flowers delivered, and the guy who answered the phone couldn’t really sell me a bouquet of flowers. I asked him what was in season, or what they had that was nice, and he pretty much couldn’t tell me. He ended up reading off of the list of TeleFlora(some national network) pre-fab floral arrangements, which was no help. Against my better judgement, I decided to just browse their web site and place the order online. The ordering process was pretty straightforward, and I felt more confident typing my request(recipient name, address, message, etc.) online than I did giving it to this guy over the phone.(If he couldn’t say«gladiolus», how was he going to get the address right?) The next day, I called to ask about the status of my order. A more helpful(but not necessarily more confident) lady answered the phone and said she would call me back with my order status. She didn’t call back for 30 minutes, so I called again, and she said the order had just gone out for delivery. Makes me wonder whether it was actually processed before I called to confirm or not, but at least the flowers went out. Apparently the flowers were nice, so that wasn’t a problem. And maybe going in person makes a big difference, but my phone/internet experience was pretty poor.
