This is a froyo review only! I’ve been wanting to check this place out for awhile and was glad to finally get the chance on Sunday. The prices are standard 0.35cents/oz (except during happy hour), they have standard froyo flavors, and standard froyo toppings — if you’re used to having a place with a billion toppings (when in reality you only need 3) then you may be a bit disappointed by Sip’s selection

Bottom line, I love supporting little neighborhood shops like this — this place is really worth checking out!

Products: (5 stars) The pastries taste great, yogurt and gelato flavors change up every week or so, and the iced coffee drinks rival the major chains.
Selection: (5 statrs) Great variety with everything from sandwhichs to yogurt to coffee and them some.
Atmosphere: (4 stars) Nothing special but clean with outside seating.
Customer service: (2 stars) This rating is for my last 3 visits. I usually come here round 3 – 4 when no one is there save for 1 – 2 customers. My last visit I waited at the counter for 4 – 5 minutes waiting for someone to take an order. If someone was so inclined they could have stolen all the products on the counter with ease. After someone (the owner I believe) finally came around I got my yogurt (would have melted if I had made it before someone came to the counter). They have a happy hour yogurt deal from 5 – 7 so I politely asked if I could get that rate (like 5 cents less per ounce) for my long wait… it was 4:50. She told me I could wait 10 mins and get it… I didn’t even get a «I’m sorry for your wait» after all that. I’ve gotten better long wait replies at a Mcdonalds. I’ve had now 3 separate 4 – 5 min waits now at their counter.
Final Thoughts: If it wasn’t for the selection and quality off the products I wouldn’t return to SIP. Customer service goes hand in hand with product quality in my opinion. If I keep getting long waits I will go to Willow Glen Creamery’s Campbell location for my yogurt fix in the future.

Came here to beat the heat and get a little work done over the weekend. The café seems to have plentiful seating but is a bit broken up with the patchy layout. But I guess it works, in a zig-​zag sort of way.
The place was empty when I came and I had to shake the one employee there out of her «zone out» session. Can’t blame her, it was so lovely and cool in the café. And so empty I saw a few tumbleweeds blow by.
Unfortunately, I may have tasted more than my share of deliciously tart frozen yogurt and its accompanying world of flavors. Yogurt here at Sip Café, not super fantastic. It tasted very artificial and the consistency was too soft and mushy. One of the machines, dispensing taro flavored yogurt, was awful — it just spit out liquidy, puddingy purple sadness. Also, while the toppings were standard — berries, cereal, mochi (my fave) and random candy pieces — the cubes that look like cupcakes and brownies were just really stale muffin chunks. Highly disappointing.
But if you do want to get froyo and crave the Asian tart style, I guess this is an ok stop on a hot summer day and you’re in the neighborhood. And if you’re prowling by in the early evening, they have a happy hour special on yogurt from 5−7pm every day — 29 cents and ounce.

This is probably the best froyo place to go to get some work done. I’ve always loved visiting coffee shops and do some work/​reading there. Having good fro yo while working definitely helps my brain quite a bit! :)
In terms of fro yo quality, this place isn’t too bad, but not too special either; Café Delatti definitely has better quality but I like the fact that this place is self serve & you can sample all flavor as much as you want.
Price-​wise, it’s very good: 0.35/oz + .29/​oz during their happy hour (5 to 7 daily).
Unlike most other fro yo stores, this place does play better music (not hip hop/​pop crap). They also have a mini library with a lot of good recipe books. I also love their ‘chocolate rocks’ topping & diced almonds. I believe they’re the only fro yo store with chocolate rocks topping.
Don’t forget to ask for the stamp card; buy 10 get 1 free for both fro yo and coffee.

SELF SERVE FROZEN YOGURT! Amazinggg. I got the yellow cake batter and drizzle caramel, chocolate and white choc. chips on it and it was DELICIOUS. They had a bunch of flavors and a bunch of toppings like gummy bears, fruit, chocolate, white choc chips.etc.
They also have breakfast sandwiches/​bagels/​muffins. And a few sandwiches for lunch like turkey avocado, ham, chicken, roast beef etc. Also serve italian cream soda, coffee, gelato and more.
We will definitely be back.

Wow, I can’t believe the hype over this place. Maybe I went on an off day?
Coffee — average I guess but it tasted a bit burnt
Chocolate Pastry — a bit dry & it left that disgusting film on the roof of my mouth
Yogurt — good, although I love Yogurtland better
Service — friendly but a bit slow
I also found it strange that they kept the milk thermos’ behind the counter & I had to ask for it. Why can’t you leave it on the bar?
Would I visit on my own again? No. If friends suggested the place? They might be able to drag me in there for a second chance.

Ooh, I love this place! Great, rich yogurt with good toppings (although some of the fruit looked a little old, the flavors were great… There was Peach Tart, Original Tart, Strawberry Banana, Chocolate, Cappucino, Vanilla, Yellow Cake Batter, and Peanut Butter). The price was pretty good; Happy Hour is 5−7pm at 29 cents an ounce. There are sandwiches and coffees, which the BF got and liked. Pastries are half-​off after 2pm. It’s nice and clean in here, and the little couch and fireplace is especially comfy. There are lots of nooks to sit in!
I’m sitting here right now using the Wi-​Fi, which actually took a while to log on to because it asked for a username and domain name for a while, but finally it just asked for a password, which you have to get from the staff.

My fiancé and I had a lovely time here with some friends the other night.
Overall, my experience was great! Here’s what I loved:
— Self serve! If I wanted a taste of all the flavors in one cup, I could have done it. (Eeeewww!) If I wanted one piece from each topping, I could have done it.
— FRESH ingredients! I had original tart with kiwi and mochi, and both toppings were amazing. The kiwi was the perfect ripeness, while the mochi was just the right texture.
— The staff were really friendly, and before they were about to close, they said we could stay until the party in the back room left. So we stayed until probably 10:30, when they close at 10.
— Cute area to sit.
— They serve Mighty Leaf Tea! Woo hoo! That’s my current favorite tea. While I didn’t have any this time, it’s great to know that it’s an option on my next visit.
— Reasonably priced.
— Plentiful and easy parking.
I feel that the only thing that’s holding me back from giving Sip Café 5 stars is that their yogurt melted a little more quickly than my favorite place’s organic original tart frozen yogurt.
I’d certainly return again.

I ate a croissant for the first time in years. Yes, I’m serious.
I also tried their croissantwich. Whoever said their sandwiches look nothing like their pictures… it’s not true! They look even better in person and quite delicious.
Another thing I love about this place is they carry Might Leaf Tea (
) These are really high quality tea bags and very flavorful.
As I’ve been coming here, I’ve noticed they’re constantly adding new products and making it an even better place.

Free wi-​fi is really fast and always working.
Abundance of magazines. Up to date InStyle magazines (my guilty pleasure when I’m supposed to be memorizing law terms — I still don’t remember the differences between 1^st/​2^nd degree murder and voluntary/​involuntary manslaughter or when to file a motion for summary judgment or what a judgment n.o.v. is but hey, at least I’m updated on the latest fashion trends thanks to Sips!)

My friend found this place on Unilocal when we were trying to decide on what to do for the day. It’s a great place to go with a group of friends because it basically has everything– coffee, gelato, frozen yogurt, sandwiches, etc. something to please everyone! Plus there are magazines to read– and free wifi.

I find myself frequenting this place a little too much since I work nearby, and now have a full-​blown addiction to frozen yogurt.
The selection of fro-​yo is great. The toppings are quite fresh and most importantly, this lace is CLEAN! I did subtract 1 star because even though I see a nice fresh bunch of bananas on the counter, there aren’t any freshly sliced ones in a tub where I can add to my froyo.
The workers are always very nice and helpful. I haven’t tried any of the sandwiches yet, but thats probably because I’m too full from eating the frozen yogurt!
All in all, I definitely recommend!!!

Whats there to say about Sip?
Well 4 stars mostly for their delicious gelato and they decent yogurt. The ambiance is nice especially to sit around and chat with friends.
The sandwiches doesnt look like its worth the time and the coffee was average.
Staff was friendly and courteous and its located right next to the freeway entrance!

I was a little hesitant about going back to Sips after my first experience with their breakfast sandwiches, but I could not resist their froyo machines.
Thankfully (for them) my second experience was better than my first.
+ Decent selection of froyo machines — good combination of tart and sweet flavors.
+ You can get your own samples. I probably ate $ 2.00 worth of froyo while sampling. I hate it when you have to ask the cashier for sample cups. They always make me feel like such a piggy asking for 1 cup per flavor.
+ Not a huge toppings bar but they had the basics — all I need is strawberries, blueberries and mochi.
+ When I went up to the cashier to pay they asked this time if I had a frequent customer card. Thank god he did because I almost forgot to use it.
I still noticed that funky chemical smell upon walking into Sips. What the heck is that?
On my way out, I noticed 2 customers eating sandwiches outside. They actually looked pretty good — very fresh with a lot of meat and veggies. Hmmm, did I just have a bad experience or are the owners actually reading our Unilocal reviews.

I tried it for the first time tonight. Wow this is good stuff!
The blueberry tart was amazingly delicious! The plain tart was really good too. Big selection at the topping bar. I like how the mango and strawberries were cut into tiny pieces. I’ve been to places where the strawberries were just cut in half! They have 4 froyo machines with 8 flavors. 0.35 cents/​oz.
The staff was friendly and the place was really clean. The seating area in the back was comfortable.
It may be hard to see if you’re coming off 880/​Camden. It’s in the same plaza as Taco Bell. Basically, take the first left after you pass Starbucks or else you’ll have to drive down to the next light to make a u-​turn.
I can’t wait to go back.

Don’t go for the sandwiches as they really are a disappointment: expensive, lacking meat, and take 15+ minutes for them to make. However, I learned and now know to stick with dessert.
They recently (since mid-​May) started carrying gelato and it is DAMN GOOD. Try the honey lavender it is to die for! They are more than happy to give you a sample with these adorable mini metal spoons (plus points for being green).
The froyo isn’t bad but the flavors change so often that sometimes they don’t have a flavor I like. Same goes for the toppings.
They give out stamp cards for froyo and pastries are 50% off after 1 PM.
Now learn from my experience and go only for DESSERT.

Mmmm, frozen yogurt! :)
This place is super close to my girl’s house, Amanda, and I have actually been there 2x times now. Needless to say from my 5 star rating, I was not and have not been let down the times I have been there!
It’s a cute café with a cozy atmosphere and welcoming employees. They have a delicious looking selection of pastries and other desserts. Of course, my fave there is the fro-​yo that they have! They have a nice selection of flavors and a modest selection of toppings. They don’t have as many toppings here as Frozo’s, but it’s still a really great place to have frozen yogurt :) My fave flavor there so far is the cookies and cream. Very good! :)
The last time that I was there, they had samples of their croissants and I can never say no to a carb! :) I really enjoy going there because of the atmosphere and the friendly service. The lady also told me they serve lunch and I saw on their menu board that they have a really tasty sounding sandwhich selection. They also have coffee drinks, cold bottled drinks and other desserts there as well.

I was most impressed by the décor and ambience of this place! Super cute, and really inviting. My husband’s caramel frappé was delicious and my yogurt creation was super. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was nice and peaceful — makes me want to make this my default yogurt place. Yogurtland in Cupertino is just waay too crazy if you actually want to have a conversation with someone!
My only complaint is that it’s not really set up well for working on a laptop. I felt ergonomically uncomfortable, both at the regular tables and at the barstool counter. And also, while my husband and I were there enjoying our first-​time visit, I heard someone else being offered an on-​the-​fly 15% off first time customer discount. Felt kinda funny, especially since the owner had welcomed us as first time guests when we were chatting…

I was so excited to see that a place that has frozen yogurt was opening up. This is now my Wednesday hang out with another mother after dropping off our sons at the therapy center.
I am a froyo freak! especially for the fruity flavors. I LOVE their Honeydew yogurt!!! Please do NOT get rid of it anytime soon. Mango tart is good too; and most recently I had the strawberry tart along the side of honeydew. YUMMY! They have a variety of flavors to choose from. The price is by weight.
I have also had their mocha’s, which are good too. They can be on the sweet side if you had a splash of something so be careful.
Pastries are half off after 2PM. Everyone is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Good place to sit and talk with a friend. They do have a frequent buyer card. Mine is almost complete.

We had driven by this place a few times, and said we would stop at some point.
Upon finding a coupon in one of the Campbell newspapers, we decided to give it a try before the coupon expired.
What a pleasant surprise! I was expecting something much more generic looking, and it’s actually really nice inside. It’s decorated well, and has a great homey feeling to it.
The owner was there, and was very sweet and friendly.
They have several baked goods that are made by a bakery that she owns, and they carry a number of desserts from Satura.
I didn’t have any of these, but they looked very good. We were informed that after 2 pm, croissants and pastries are half off.
They also have breakfast and lunch sandwiches.
The yogurt was what I came for, and the yogurt was what I got:)
I have been saying for awhile it would be really nice if a yogurt place, (similar to Yogurtland and Frozo’s) opened nearby. Well, now one has!!!
They have several flavors, and a good number of toppings. The mochi tasted fresh too.
They had one topping I’ve never seen at any other yogurt shop… Toasted coconut! OMG, I love this! Why have I never seen this offered at a yogurt shop???
I really hope this place does well! If you’re into fro-​yo (which just about everyone is lately) please give this place a try!
