Wonderful wedding gown shopping experience. Great customer service. Don’t waste your time anywhere else. I’m a 50+ bride and thought my little 20 something consultant couldn’t possibly help me. But she was amazing! Every dress she pulled was beautiful! The front desk is friendly and relaxed with a professional but light hearted approach. It’s just a great vibe there and you feel like a queen!

Almost everyone I know has gotten their wedding dress from Trudys. I looked at 3 other stores before Trudys when I should have just started with them. Amazing customer service and selection. We went back to get the bridesmaids dresses there as well.

I was so disappointed with my daughter’s assistant. Erika was not prepare to guide my daughter with her dress. The assistant stuffed a pillow in her back to compensate for the oversized bridal dress. She didn’t show her anything to complete her dress. No jewerly, no veils, etc. Also the lady (cashier) who was working that day, she looked like the only thing that she wanted was the rest of the amount balance.

Lamentablemente hemos tenido una muy mala experiencia al retirar el vestido de boda de mi hija. Lo que se suponia seria algo hermoso e inolvidable para ella, paso a ser un simple tramite que no duro ni treinta minutos. Erika fue la persona que atendio a mi hija el dia que le asignaron un turno. Es una obligacion tomar turno para retirar el vestido de bodas, porque se supone que la persona que asiste a la novia, debe guiar, mostrar accesorios etc. Nada de eso ocurrio. Erika hizo un trabajo muy pobre y lamentable que no coincide con nuestra experiencia personal en Trudys cuando compramos el vestido de Junior Prom, y menos cuando fuimos a elegir vestido de boda.

Dress didn’t fit. Took longer receive the dress than what I was told. Overcharged and and sized terribly.

Immensely underwhelmed with the customer service at this store. The store feels crammed and generic. The isles are narrow and there is little privacy for the brides trying on dresses at the front of the shop.
I was disappointed by the selection of gowns and also felt that the gowns my assistant was pulling were not even close to what I described. I only tried on 2 of the 5 – 6 she pulled because the rest were so off. The assistant helping me also stuffed a pillow in my back to compensate for the oversized sample gown/​it looked like I had a hunchback. I asked if she wanted me to go out and check the dress out with pillows stuffed down my back and she started to complain about people always stealing her clips… I have been to other bridal shops and I’ve experienced good and even mediocre service but nothing as poor as here.
All in all, the lack of professionalism and the «factory-​farm» feel left me unimpressed so I am not returning.

Prom was a few weeks ago so I thought I would update with some pictures from the night!
No one had my dress, which was a plus!

TRUDY IS MOODY. Been here 3 times for prom dresses. Lucky for me, I found a new place at Santana Row. Most recent experience goes like this:
Picked a few dresses. The dresses were ok (typical made in China-​type dresses) except for the fact that:
Dress #1: tattered and frayed around the belt area. Dirty at the bottom.
Dress #2: lots of strings popping out.
Dress #3: large coffee stain in the middle of the dress. Broken zipper too. The bottom of the dress was very dirty. Cost was $ 398. I pointed out the broken zipper and the coffee stain. TRUDY offered $ 50 off. The dry cleaning and the fixing of the zipper will cost more than $ 50. When I pointed this out, Trudy looked mad and annoyed. She turned around and could be overheard saying ‘tacky’ and some other words she didn’t want us to hear. I just couldn’t understand how she thought it was okay to sell me a dress with a broken zipper and a washed up coffee stain. I had to ask if the dress was used, returned, or on consignment.
I bought the dress for the price she demanded cause I didn’t want to be left without a dress at the last minute. I found a better dress in Santana Row but I’m stuck with the MOODY TRUDY dress cause no exchanges or returns.
Moody Trudy is not someone I enjoy transacting with.
I wouldn’t waste my time here. I went to PENELOPE at SANTANA ROW. Much more
professional staff and the dresses were sexy, clean new and much more stylish –as they should be.

Ive been to Trudys three times for senior prom shopping. Though they have a beautiful selection, I could never find anything. However, being one week left until my prom and being extremely stressed out about not finding a dress, I went once more. I was paired with Jasmine as my guide. She was AMAZING! I told her what I wanted and she pulled out 5 options that were exactly what I had envisioned. I ended up buying the first dress she had me try on! Thank you so much Jasmine, you’re amazing!

I had an appt here on 04÷23÷16 and the service was awful. My consultant Michelle was very nice and professional initially but the experience went downhill fast. This salon is very tight on space and it felt very closed in. Every consultant I saw was dragging the gowns on the floor like a sack of potatoes (granted they were in their plastic garment bags but it was still very off putting)
I sat with her for a moment and told her what I was looking for and she asked my wedding gown size. I had been fitting into size 12 at every other dress shop so logically I felt this was the correct size for me. Michelle went into «used car salesman mode» and became pissy with me as: the gowns she pulled for me weren’t fitting well, the gowns she pulled for me weren’t what I said I wanted as far as style so I of course rejected them. Michelle’s attitude was that the dresses I wanted did not come «in my size» to try on and I should be happy with what she pulled for me.
She pressed me further about my previous dress shopping experiences and I told her that I am going to keep trying on gowns on my list before I make a final decision. I then received a guilt trip from her because I «waited too long» to go dress shopping (wedding is in 4 months) and that I might get stuck with a dress that I might not like because of this. I wanted to say: «First off Michelle, I don’t have to justify my decisions to you.» I mean, you never know what circumstances are involved in the reasons why someone begins gown shopping at a certain time.
Lastly she refused to let me know the name of the gown I actually did like. She wrote down an inventory number on the back of a business card and just handed it back to me. When I was finished with my appointment (was only there 45 minutes) she then acted like she was my BFF in front of other customers. I felt like I was slimed.
To Michelle: while I realize you are in sales, your tactics reek of used car salesman. The experience of purchasing a gown is supposed to be at least pleasant but all I saw was dollar signs in your eyes. Anything that interfered with that, you made clear by your actions that you wanted me out of he store as soon as possible to make commission on the next person. If you were professional and made an effort to make this experience special, there was a good chance I would have bought a dress. Your loss ultimately.

I WAS READY TO GIVE UP ON MY DRESS SEARCH UNTIL TRUDYS BRIDES CAME INTO MY LIFE. JENNIFER HAYDEN WAS A RAY OF SUNSHINE.
After an unsuccessful trial at a small boutique in SoCal and two visits to two different David’s Bridal locations, I wanted to call it quits and just elope with no wedding gown. David’s Bridal was the worst experience I’ve had in a very long time with customer service, or lack thereof. Even with an appointment you end up waiting an hour for the consultant to actually help you. And they’re not just helping you, they’re also helping multiple of other girls so you get left ignored and waiting for long periods of time for them to pull you dresses.
That was NOT the case at Trudys Brides. When you have an appointment, the consultant solely helps you the entire hour. I was very fortunate for Jennifer Hayden. You should request her! She was a breath of fresh air after all the rotten luck I had while dress shopping. She was considerate with my budget and super attentive, patient and helpful. I especially appreciated her honesty and insightfulness. She didn’t tell me a dress looked good just to make a sale. She gave her honest opinion every time.
I was initially hesitant to visit Trudys Brides thinking that I wouldn’t be able to afford a gown from a boutique shop but I was pleasantly surprised at the huge selection they carried and in such a wide range of price points. There are affordable dresses to more high-​end ones in every shape and fabric you’d want.
And since I purchased my gown there all my bridesmaids received 15% off their dresses next door at Trudys Special Occasions where appointments aren’t needed but don’t go there during prom season; it’s chaos. I also received $ 150 credit for bridal accessories as well as 2 movie tickets for coming in during a promotion period. Sign-​up for their email list as they send promos all the time.
I had such a positive experience that I ended up coming back and buying my reception dress from Trudys Special Occasions as well!

I went in yesterday with my bridesmaid and mother in law to look and try some dresses on. Little did I know, that with DIDIs help, I’d be walking out with a wedding dress ordered!!! Didi was AMAZING and so fun to have this experience with! She listened to my likes and dislikes and chose amazing dresses for me to try on. She saved the best for last, my allure gown!!! We all fell in love immediately and to my pleasant surprise, it was the cheapest of the bunch! But definitely not by looks or quality! It’s gorgeous, stunning and just overall AMAZING. What was even better is that it was a size 6, so I got to see what it would actually look like! (Well with a few clips on my hips). I’m hoping the order and sizing comes back correct in September and I’ll have my gorgeous dress for next year! Thank you Didi!

I bought my wedding dress from Trudy’s last year. Didi was my consultant and she was super helpful and knowledgeable of the inventory. My appointment went really smoothly. I definitely got my bridal experience from Trudy’s which I did not get from any other bridal salon or store. Even if you don’t end up finding your dream dress here, I still recommend making an appointment.

Visited Trudy’s on Tuesday (4÷5÷16) for a prom dress after striking out elsewhere. What a wonderful experience. Upon arrival, Trudy promptly personally greeted us. As we started looking at dresses, we were introduced to Consultant Taylor. As we browsed the racks and Brooke turned down most of my selections, Trudy talked me into relaxing and letting Taylor work with Brooke. I was apprehensive, of course, but took her advice, and sat and watched Taylor work her magic. With Taylor’s help and amazing patience, Brooke found the perfect dress. Taylor helped her try on many different dresses, different looks and so on and she ultimately selected the very first dress she tried on.
I only wish we had known of Trudy’s before Brooke’s junior prom last year. You can bet this is the first store we will visit for any future special occasions and of course when the girls are ultimately shopping for wedding dresses. Trudy has been in the business for decades and it shows. The service and selection were amazing and we left thrilled with the entire experience.
By the way, Trudy’s dresses are priced well below what we saw at other stores even for the identical dresses from the same designers. We came in below the budget we gave Taylor to work with.

Trudy’s I believe you win the award for BEST job taking measurements and ordering a custom bridesmaid dress– oh wait, APRIL FOOLS!
Although your staff was pleasant, they are officially incompetent. I just received a bridesmaid dress that I ordered in December. After arriving at my appointment I was ushered into a fitting room and measured for the dress. The saleswoman told me I would need a size 18 and to not worry because the dress is a «European Size.» Well I’m usually a size 10 and my wedding dress was a 12.
Now your sales associate also said Trudy’s doesn’t do alterations– I wonder why? Could it be because ALL your custom gowns require extensive alterations.
My dress is literally swimming on me. Regardless of the length, which I already knew came in 1 length, «long», the entire dress is too big. My $ 185 dress will now cost me over $ 300 because of the massive alterations that need to be completed to wear the dress appropriately.
So Trudy’s, I think you scam your customers and order too big of sizes to get a kick-​back on alterations. Of course your store doesn’t do alterations, but you «recommend» places.
Whatever. You officially suck. And I will never shop with you ever again.

Success! Trudy’s was a great experience from start to finish. They have gorgeous dresses, and our consultant spent a lot of time with my daughter before getting dresses to ensure she understood what styles to pull.
Dee Dee was our consultant and she did a fabulous job. She helped pull dresses that were similar to what my daughter likes and in the end we found the perfect dress. She was patient and informative.
They accommodated a larger group and were super patient. The store was super clean, well organized and made us feel special.
Pricing was great and they offer great payment options.
Definitely will go back to look for bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride!

This was my first time dress shopping for a wedding dress. My consultant Melinda was AMAZING! She made me feel super comfortable. She listened to every detail of what I was looking for in a dress. She found the most beautiful dresses and they were all within my budget. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy.
The shop itself is very pretty. I loved the décor and ambiance. The staff was super friendly. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. I didn’t end up buying a dress, but that was only because this was my first time wedding dress shopping. I want to shop around before making a final decision. However, I have a feeling that I will be back to Trudy’s very soon.
I highly recommend this place!

When I first walked into Trudy’s, I received a warm welcome from the friendly staff and even got to meet Trudy! She was so sweet and made me feel right at home. I was then greeted by Leilani… my new favorite person!
Leilani was so patient and really took the time to understand what I was looking for and what I’d feel comfortable in walking down the aisle. She brought me a variety of dresses, all of which were beautiful. After trying on a few maybes and a couple of nos, Leilani brought me a beaded, classic ivory, elegantly fitted gown that was absolutely gorgeous. The moment I looked in the mirror, I knew it was the one. Tears welled up in my eyes and for the first time in my wedding planning journey, I finally felt like a bride! The best part of the story is that I’d already bought a dress at a boutique in Beverly Hills weeks prior to my appointment at Trudy’s…guess what, that one’s going back… NO regrets!
I’m in LOVE with my dress (almost as much as my fiancé ;) and I couldn’t have found it without Leilani! I now know why everyone says Trudy’s is the absolute BEST! If you’re a bride to be, you HAVE to get your dress at Trudy’s!

Totally disappointed after visiting this bridal shop. This was my first choice to visit after being referred by family who had great experiences getting their wedding dresses here in the past. Lots of dresses to choose from, but the bad customer service ruined it.
I wish my consultant was more interested about helping me; rather than what my budget was. After I told the consultant my budget, she shut down and showed a persona of not wanting to help me. There was one dress that was $ 250 above my budget, my bridal party loved the design and I asked if I can try it on. My consultant says to me «Are you sure you want to try that on? How about if you fall in love with it BUT it’s over your budget.» Then in the dressing room I inform her my Mom loved the dress and she says to me «Why don’t you have your Mom pay for the dress then?» Wow! Totally rude… Sorry Trudy’s, you had a customer willing to pay over her budget but the bad customer service ruined it!

I could not for the life of me locate a particular dress that I fell in love with online. I should have known that cyber relationships never end well… anyway I tried contacting the designer (Watters) directly, but they never responded. I also chased their trunk show around by calling the stores on the schedule to see if one of them could help me out. I offered to pay for overnight shipping both ways if someone could just help me get my hands on the dress so that I could try it on before buying it. No one could help!
Finally, I spoke to Steven at Trudy’s who was able to fly the dress in for one night. I don’t know how he was able to do it, but he did, and he didn’t even let me pay for the shipping. He said that hopefully I’d like the dress, and if not, then maybe another dress in the shop. How nice! I ended up loving the dress and placed the order that night. I also got all 6 bridesmaid dresses at Trudy’s — they offer you a discount on the bm dresses if you got your wedding dress there.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because out of the 6 bm dresses, 4 were horribly oversized, by at least 2 sizes. The girls had to spend more than expected to have them all taken in. I suppose sizing dresses is a tricky and sensitive matter (I bet lots of girls gain weight and then get really upset that the dress is too small) but it was still pretty inconvenient. There was also a bit of confusion about the bm dresses orders, so for a while I was worried they misplaced one of the orders. It ended up being ok but it was kind of stressful.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Trudy’s on the bridal side. I just think the bridesmaid dept. could use a revamp. The service was pretty hit or miss over there and it seemed pretty disorganized.

Came here with our bridal party so that the bride can purchase her dress. She had already made an appointment and within seconds, we were shown to our fitting area. Totally forgot the lady who was working with us but she was super nice and helpful. She had already gotten a few dresses ready in the fitting room for the bride to try on. The bride had already met with her prior to us coming in that day to try on some dresses and discussed what style she wanted. She stayed with us the whole time, helping the bride get dressed and giving her ideas/​opinions as well. We told her that we wanted her to try on a bedazzled belt for her dress and she went to grab a few that would work well with her dress. Fortunately, it all worked out and the bride ended up buying a dress and the belt! They have a great selection of bridal dresses that are all very affordable or fit your budget.
Attached to the bridal area is the room that had many prom dresses along with bridesmaids dresses. It was a little overwhelming looking through the bridesmaid dresses because it wasn’t organized and it was very messy. However, they did have some really nice dresses. Their bathroom was clean too lol
