Wow! amazing job… I have taken all of my vehicles (4) here for the past 20 years. ACE is honest and tells it like it is. he has also serviced several from my neighborhood as well.
I highly recommend him. I rarely have to wait long, gives me a fair estimate on time, how long it will or may take and I find the price to be quite reasonable as well. I believe you cannot go wrong here.

«Ace» not only left a sway bar bolt out, but the ABS system has been malfunctioning since! Actually… that’s all after the fact. The truck went in for a rear end rebuild and this guy took it upon himself to replace it with a used one! By the way, a used tear end is about $ 500 for this thing and Ace charged $ 900. He Never contacted me, the registered owner of the truck, never ran prices by me, didn’t bother to let me know what was going on… didn’t even let me know he had the truck. Until it came time to get paid of course! haha at that time Ace had no problem letting me know that he had my truck and needed nearly 2 grand. Then this guy refuses to return the old parts! Again, how do you have good ratings. Its shady business like this one that give the rest of the independent shops a bad name. After dealing with this guy, I totally understand why most people go to the dealer. This guy is a crook!
Look, listen to the nonsense reviews about him being a good honest mechanic if you’d like, but you’ve been warned. Take your vehicle here and you’ll get the short end…
Ace, I’ve got a quote from a real shop! It outlines the faults in your repair as well as the hazards of anyone driving that vehicle after you released it. I have also reported you to the B.A.R. and BOE… since I cant seem to find anything about your business with them… oh haha and since my life was in danger while operating this truck, we are beyond small claims. Look forward to hearing from my attorney REAL soon.

Call and made an appointment for an oil change. I was here and on time and they were too. No games or ginmicks.

Recently moved across county and needed some major work done. I’ve dealt with some awful mechanics since moving here and finally found my guy. Ace is awesome (as everyone says!) 2^nd time here and i still stand by these guys! Got to meet the man Ace and he is clearly working a job he loves to do. He genuinely cares about every customer and the problems you have with your car. And on top of it he gives the cheapest prices you wont find anywhere else. He has a top of the line team working with him that will take care of your car the right way and make sure you wont come back.

Highly recommend this place. You can tell the people here actually care! It honestly felt like a friend was doing my car service & the price was incredibly affordable. If you need service in the area, going here is a no brainer.

I had to replace the shocks in my old Toyota truck, after shopping around for few days I came across LA auto care, they gave me a great compatative price estimate for the parts and labor and we’re ready to take on the job the same day, the job was done within the deadline they promised, the repair was great and the truck is driving the way it used and should. I really appreciate the professional, no BS attitude of the owner, I would definitely recommend this shop, he deserves the 5 stars.

I have found my LA Mechanic! Spoke with Ace about a few issues the dealership told me about that needed to be fixed ASAP and asked him to take a look at my car for a second opinion. This establishment saved me money and a major headache down the road. Ace and his team were honest and were clear of what needed to be done. Car was fixed and maintenance within hours. Big thank you to the whole team and Ace for helping a girl out!

Honest mechanic. .yes they do exist. I came in to smog my car and he read the paperwork with me before hand to show me I didnt need to do it… saved me money but seriously. … Honest decent people here.

My car wouldn’t start because I had left a light on over the weekend. I got it jumped, but I don’t know much about cars, so I wanted someone to check the battery level. Toyota (I drive a Corolla) was going to charge me $ 45 just to check it, so I looked on Unilocal and found LA Auto Care was super close to my house. Ace was so professional and nice! It was very reassuring to hear that my battery was OK so I don’t have to worry anymore. My car needs some other stuff done as well, so as soon as I have time I’ll be taking it back there.

Highly recommended! Called ahead of time and asked if I could come right in with an unexpected «Service Engine Soon» that had just appeared, spoke with Ace who assured me that they will check it out.
Repair turn around was almost immediate, he fixed the issue and the service engine light was away but he also addressed an issue that I’ve noticed in my car for years (slight vibration), that has never been addressed or blown off by many auto repair services. That is a sign of someone who is not only great at what they do but also provide the service that people need these days. Awesome job LA Auto Care, I look forward to doing any future business with you guys!

LA Auto Care and the owner Ace truly truly deserve the 5 stars. If it could go to 6 stars, I’d rate him there too. Truly a completely honest and reliable mechanic and all and all great person. Every time I need repairs, which has been often lately on the 224, 000 mile Toyota Tacoma, I expect that what needs to be done is going to cost an arm and a leg. Then Ace calls with the estimate and the price is always less than you would expect. From the seat belts to the door locks and everything in between, Ace and his mechanics have fixed it. The reason all of my original parts have made it so far I’m is from going to LA Auto Care for regular maintenance all these years! Everyone at the shop fully expects the truck to keep on going to 325,000 miles!
Today’s auto repair requires quite the intelligent mechanic that can follow the logical path to getting your vehicle fixed, and sometimes it takes more than one visit to get things completely ironed out, and that’s why Ace is the perfect mechanic, he fixes your car or truck in a logical order that makes sense.

I’ve been going to LA Auto Care since I first moved to Los Angeles as I used to teach at Pierce College and found it when I was having an emergency one day. Ace is AWESOME! I’m no longer anywhere near the area but I make the trek because I know he’ll always get me in and he’s so honest and friendly and inexpensive compared to what they’re charging in the heart of LA and he knows and checks everything. Thank goodness I found him here. :)
