SPD Factory Strength and Conditioning

I have been to many gyms and I must say it always felt like something was missing. After just a few weeks working with Rob, I then realized that it was his knowledge, his guidance, and his enthusiasm that allowed me to truly better myself not just in losing weight and gaining muscle, but also with eating habits and posture. I have never felt better than I have these past few months. His custom programs really help excel you to were you want to be. One of my favorite aspects of the SPD Factory is the supportive community that comes along with the membership. Whether it’s your first time ever in a gym or a competitive lifter everyone is there to help and motivate you to get to your goal. I am proud to call the SPD Factory my fitness home.

Rob’s amazing attention to alignment and mobility are what sets him apart. Whether training individually or in a group conditioning class you will be given the attention you need to safely reach your goals with none of the fluff. If there is a reason and a need, he can address it. If you have a list of excuses, this is not your place. I was diagnosed with MS in 2008. There is no cure, however I feel «healthier» now than ever because I have taken responsibility for my own well-​being by using exercise as my medicine (of course, not in place of treatment). If there is ever a reason I need to slow down, so be it. But until that day, no excuses. Rob’s philosophy closely mirrors mine. I would whole-​heartedly recommend SPD Factory to anyone who is looking for a no-​nonsense targeted approach to fitness.

So I went to see Rob English today at the SPD Factory. Let me tell you that I did not even pick up a weight. In fact for the first hour I sat in the same position. Simply working and doing mobility with my body. I cannot walk I am so soar. This man really knows his stuff and makes it his purpose to properly train you in such a way so that you know your body in such a way to avoid any injuries. This too me is so huge quite honestly after going to so many different gyms and continuously getting hurt. If you want something different go and check out the SPD Factory and work with someone who truly cares about your well being and not just desiring to fill his pockets like most trainers.

Over 8 years with a truly motivating teacher. As a senior it is especially important to keep your body flexible, strong and healthy. My doctors are amazed when I see them– one actually said «if I had more patients like you I wouldn’t have a job»! All because of the time & dedication & caring of Robert English. He has gone out of his way (and more) to teach me the best ways to be healthy — including diet. If you want to feel (and look!) your best he’s there waiting to help you. He makes it fun even when it may not look like fun– and proves you can do anything if you want to do it bad enough. He is dedicated to his clients, who quickly become friends. Proud to have this Marine looking out for me. Nothing better than SPD Factory!

I have Known Rob for a couple years now. He’s much like a pastor of a great church. «Only the church of fitness and health. As the owner and head fitness expert at SPD– of Canton. He has created a dynamic environment where he trains, councils, and encourages every one to be their beat and get the results they desire It’s not cross-​fit it’s better! much more to do to keep you engaged and he runs he club with greater purpose. He cares about the community he serves and members of his gym as well as the community. Get off the treadmill or the couch and stop being bored and come join a place that makes no judgements but cares about you. Robs flock and his mission to make the world a better place. If you’re a Military Vet, Young Athlete, or just a 50 year old man or woman that what’s to feel better about them selfs this is your club. I am a member I highly recommend you do the same.

If you are serious about your training, eat red meat, drink beer and like lifting weight with other red-​blooded Merican’s then come check this place out.

Amazing gym. All the equipment a real lifter could ask for. Friendly atmosphere. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and a super nice guy! I’ve been to a lot of gyms in my life and this is at the top of the list!
