Zeus Design Build

We weren’t expecting to purchase a home for several months. Then a home in the community where we were renting came on the market, a fixer-​upper. We were the winning bid. After the purchase whirlwind died down, we took a long, hard look at the home and tried to analyze what we could get done before our lease ended in 4 months. Changing the flow of the house before moving in was high on our priority list (closing some doorways, opening others, squaring off a diagonal wall). Upon looking for bids, many contractors said the job was too small for them, or they couldn’t do it within our timeframe, or they didn’t give us confidence they were the right contractor. Then I read reviews about Jesse Rozay, of Zeus Design Build. With a can-​do attitude, he analyzed the problems and created a detailed bid. After accepting the bid, his team quickly got to work. Being the pro that he is, Jesse could see everything that needed to be done, even before we thought of it. He gently persuaded us that it was much easier to do some of the work before moving in (new kitchen, recessed lights throughout). In an effort to save some money, I painted the entire interior myself. His team graciously accommodated me, even when I really should have waited until they were completely done. I used an independent floor contractor to install wood floors throughout. Again, Jesse accommodated that schedule, adjusting his work as needed. Everyone on the Zeus on-​site team, headed by Jaime, was very respectful, courteous, and clean. Their teamwork and attention to detail was amazing. Jesse managed their work remotely and stopped by regularly to check on the progress, offering suggestions where needed. We are thrilled with the results. Our home is a work in progress, and I’ll be happy to call Jesse again when we need him for phase two.

It was my lucky day finding Zeus online… The kitchen countertops set up by the previous owner were ugly and unstable in places, and I needed them redone before visitors arrived. Jesse immediately sourced a great-​looking, durable and surprisingly inexpensive replacement. The finish is modern and practical, and it really transforms the kitchen. I get so many compliments!
Their attention to detail is commendable, especially given how darn fast these guys work. Jesse and his crew did this in a few hours, even carving a new custom handle treatment for the lower cabinet doors.
I recommend Jesse for his style-​conscious, resourceful, and unique remodeling approaches. He and his Zeus team do beautiful work, built to last.
