Established in 2010.

Owner, Shelley Hancock became a licensed Esthetician in 1988 and purchased her first skincare center in Belmont California in 1990. She opened Real Transformation Skin care treatment and training center in May of 2010 Northern California. That’s why you will see many reviews from Northern California. She recently opened her Capistrano Beach Location!

Drawing on her nearly three decades of experience, Hancock has helped 1000s of men & women achieve total skin transformation by pairing best-​in-​class products with cutting edge techniques. Each facial therapy is customized with the latest in skin care technology to produce immediate, eminent results.

«Our goal at The Real Transformation Center is two-​fold,» explains Hancock. «The first is to help you feel good about the way you look. The second is to get you the results you deserve.» In addition to being a licensed esthetician, she is also a radio show host on Voice America’s health and wellness channel. When she’s not in her treatment room, you’ll find her writing, speaking and teaching other estheticians how to build a successful practice.

I prepaid for another combination package and this time she had a new machine which I liked a lot! Microcurrent one. I hope to see a bigger improvement on my skin this time because of it. But if nothing else, it felt good.
I did Red Carpet treatment twice, but I may try The Star Treatment with microphototherapy next time.
I usually go there middle of the day, so parking is easy.

I bought the Photo facial Special due to all the positive comments for Shelly and her center. I also bought the Red Carpet for a friend. I had a wonderful first treatment, my skin was glowing and felt soft and firm at the same time. Because my main problem is hyper pigmentation, I really wanted to find someone who can help diminish the brown spots on my face. Reducing fine lines would be a bonus but I didn’t have concerns about lines. A positive first experience made me purchase a package of 8 treatments. I’ve now had 9 total with both Shelly and Lisa (who is just as nice as can be). I have nothing but wonderful things to say about both of them. I agree with everyone’s comment on how great they are. They are pros and will try various treatments to help your skin.
The problem is after 9 treatments, I did not see a noticeable difference. Except when I saw my sister today, she said I looked tan. I don’t know if the treatments are not the right ones for me but it is disappointing. I expressed my concern and Shelly explained to me that the treatments may take time to show results. I have an appt. with her to go back, after giving some time, to see if any changes are visible in 4 weeks. I’m hoping for some good results by then. I really, really want to be able to say I got lots of compliments on my skin too!

I bought the «Red Carpet Special» as a Trubates Daily Deal, and I am so, so very glad I did. It was everything as advertised and more! Carla was amazing, and I came out glowing and looking at least 5 years younger than when I went in! Just as promised! The Red Carpet Special was simply unbelievable, but believe it, it works! I have had so many compliments about how refreshed my skin looks, how I am glowing, and I am thrilled! My current FB profile picture shows the results best. Let the photo sell you! Needless to say, this is now my «go-​to» skin care center, despite the trek across the bridge, and Carla better not leave ever, she’s my girl! I will continue to go, and will do at least one more Red Carpet Special, and have my facials done here as well, as you get 15 minutes of light therapy with every facial, and that really works!

Shelley is like an angel. She truly cares about your skin. She has the latest and greatest equipment and products and she will only recommend treatments that are beneficial to you. I have finished a series of Light and LED treatment and my skin tone improves a lot. She uses a wide range of equipments on me without charging extra.
I highly recommend every woman who wanna look best to make an appointment with her =D

I went to have an acne treatment done by Carla on Thursday, also known as «Thrifty Thursdays» because of the great prices! This treatment was amazing!!! I have very problematic skin (Ugghhh) and my skin looked flawless the next day. I have never experienced this before! I am so happy to have found Real World Esthetics and CARLA. she is a life saver!

Shelley is wonderful. She is the most professional esthetician; she explains everything she is doing, never pushes products or procedures and is always up-​beat with a beautiful smile on her face. She pampers her clients and does amazing work. I believe that since I have been going to Shelley my face looks so much younger. Shelley is better than botox!

i absolutely love Real World Esthetics! I first found Shelley Hancock and Real World Esthetics on youtube when i did a search on «anti-​aging». She has several training videos showing how to use different equipment. I also read other people’s comments and they were very positive. So i called Shelley and had my first treatment this week. I cannot tell you the difference just one treatment made! she used the radiancy equipment that she talks about in her youtube video and also a skin peel.
