I would like to thank Nina & John for being so professional and helpful! They both helped me to get the most comfortable matress I ever had in my life. I love everything I purchased from you; matress, bed frame, and pillows! My lower back pain improved from this new Matress! It made a big difference. I highly recommend Mancini if you need to buy a new matress. Thank you for the Wonderful Service!!!

I too was in the store that day and happened to be standing at the counter right next to you. I heard most of your conversation as I was being helped by another awesome employee… In No way was NINA acting as you’re portraying her. You were the one who was quite rude to say the least. The ONLY reason she came off rude or negative is because that’s how you are inside.
Nina was nothing but professional, and not rude at all whatsoever. I’ve learned through my MANY MANY years of customer service that one cannot please everyone, and that’s completely ok. Some people can never be pleased no matter how fair someone treats them. (Sound Familiar Sid B?.) But to write a review to try and ruin the livelihood of a woman doing just her job (a damn good job I might add) is completely wrong! Shame on you SID B. Shame on you! Please do us all a favor and check into some anger management sessions, they just might do you a world of good!
I’m in no way trying to be rude whatsoever, it’s so just frustrating to hear and to read complete Crap! If I acted like a complete jerk then I lied about my experience I’d hope someone would call me out on it too! I welcome it !
«If» you felt you were being treated rudely could have responded in a kind, decent and positive manner. We ALL are responsible for ourselves and how we react in all situations. And how you reacted was rude, unwarranted and unfair.
Nina was only confirming with the Original customer who had come into the store on three separate occasions. She was trying to reiterate the information she was being given by you and to make sure the customer was aware of some costs due to the changes you claimed she was asking for. What if you had made up the fact she changed her mind? What if Nina did what you asked without verification and in the end it was completely inaccurate? If that had happened any employee would receive some serious reprimanding And possibly loose her job. Policies and Procedures are set in place to protect people for a reason. Next time you start to take offense and get Loud with someone doing their job, stop for a second and try to understand why. Here’s a thought,
Try to put s positive spin on it instead of a negative one.
Also I’d like to add that day you referred to your so called «Client» as just a friend, not even a relative. I don’t know of any retail store that sells items over $ 100.00’s of dollars that wouldn’t want to verify that the information was accurate. I would have welcomed the call and appreciated the competence of the employee.
Why would anyone take offense to someone doing their job? I know quite a few people the would have been in the same situation and acted completely the opposite.
I was taught to Treat others as you’d like to be treated and how you treat others is a direct reflection of your own character and it’s what I teach my kids today. Your lack of respect, kindness and understanding was a clear reflection of the kind of person you are. Your harsh and rude words IN The Store that day and your FALSE Statements in your Review a month ago shows to everyone what type of person you truly are.
You do realize that You Yelled at her with a other customers present and NINA just sat there and didn’t say a negative word? She tried to explain to you what she was doing but it was upon hateful and def ears. That was so very wrong! You probably didn’t even notice the look on her face or anyone else’s that heard you treat her her like she was worthless incompetent person.
It’s too bad people like you are allowed to write negate and false reviews, it’s not right at all. I’m just glad I happened upon your lies and was able to set the record straight… You might want to take a look at yourself and possibly if you’re having «One of those days» just do us all a favor and stay home.
Now My review, I absolutely would do business with anyone in that store especially Nina. I would be confident that my transaction and the service would both be Excellent!!! I would recommend anyone in the market to purchase a new bed, beanbag or just to go and lay on a comfy bed on your lunch break GO To Mancini’s Sleep World! Also I’d like to add they all are kid friendly, so flexible, accommodating and understanding. I have nothing but great things to say. Nina, I’m truly sorry for how you were treated it wasn’t right at all my heart goes out to you. Keep up the awesome job you’re doing !! Let me tell you one thing,
Mr. Mancini in no way is paying you what you’re worth to that store! You deserve a raise!

Went into get a new bed two weeks ago. Jake was real helpful. I got the bed yesterday. It will take me a couple days to get use to it. Will not take long.
Jake was good at answering all my questions. A good place to shop.
I had a question today and Nina was lots of help.

I will never set foot in Mancini’s again!!! I have bought numerous beds and mattresses there over the years and have never had a problem until today. A client of mine, who is 90 years old and suffering from anxiety, asked me to go into the store today and return her mattress which she was unhappy with. We had spoken to the manager, Jake, last week and he said there would be no problem. Well, the sales lady, NINA, was extremely rude. She kept insisting that my client would need a bed and why did she want to return it? I calmly explained that I was just honoring my client’s wishes and to please just take back the mattress. Well Nina calls my client while I am standing there and begins speaking rudely to her over the phone. By then I had had it!!! I took back the paperwork and told Nina that I could not believe how she could treat an elderly person that way and that I am going to talk to the manager about her behavior. I walked out of the store and will never do business there again!!! Shame on you Nina!!!

Nina is so wonderful. Very knowledgeable and down to earth. Never felt like she was giving us a sales pitch. After hearing us talk about our pain points she directed us to the perfect mattress. We could not be more pleased. We where in there for no joke– like 2 hours — trying out mattresses. Mancini’s is great. Super family owned company and the employees are so pleasant. Recommend this place for sure.

In short, I feel like Mancini’s is the Nordstrom of the mattress world. I was surprised by the selection, appreciative of the appropriateness in the service as far as when to help us and when to leave us alone, and even more surprised by how quickly our bed was delivered once we purchased. Upon delivery we realized there was little mix-​up with the depth-​size of the box-​spring we chose and they resolved it immediately and had the size we wanted delivered within 24-​hours! The delivery men that came both times (a different crew each time) were the most professional, kind, thoughtful and patient gentlemen I have EVER experienced — it was pouring rain and my dog was going mental, barking his head off in the other room and they acted like they were performing their favorite activity on a great vacation — they were fast, efficient, and VERY conscience navigating around the other furniture. And somehow, despite that it was pouring, they got not one spec of mud or rain anywhere in the house.
Furthermore, I L-​O-​V-​E our mattress, thanks to the kind, patient guidance of Nina, who was amazing the night we came in and the whole process through. My partner & I met there after work, which in hindsight was a mistake: we were tired, hungry and cranky upon arriving, not ideal for the whole bed-​shopping thing. I thoroughly appreciated Nina’s skill in giving us the right amount of space and help as we explored our options. She was beyond patient and helpful, especially in helping point out/​narrow down the choices once she realized the general ‘feel’ and type of bed we were most comfortable on.
Overall the whole experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend this establishment if you’re in the market for a new mattress (or furniture, pillows and sheets — they have those too!!)

Wow is all I can say about this place. I came to this place because of the high reviews on Unilocal and I was not disappointed. I came in just to look and we were greater by Juan who lead us to mattress in our price point, but we still wanted to look around. I pretty much tried every bed and we found three that I really liked. Juan answered all of our questions and informed us about things we weren’t sure about. I found one that I really liked but it was slightly over our price point and I didn’t want to step away. I found out about their financing and found out we were approved. All in all I am so happy, excellent customer service and great employees. This is the place to go if your in need of a new Mattress.

Five stars for their expertise, inventory, fast delivery and excellent communications. The customer service is outstanding. I went in on a Monday with a somewhat complex mattress sizing issue. Detail: My bed is a murphy bed from Costco (
) and these do not come with a mattress. The mattress thickness can keep the bed from closing if you get one that’s too thick.
Juan at Mancini’s worked with me throughout the week, via e-​mail no less, and we narrowed in on the right mattress. By Friday night my bedding situation was solved and I slept great on this brand new Sealy.

Juan, Nina and Jake are wonderful people! All three of them helped me out with an issue I was having with an open-​box mattress that I purchased. Initially, I wasn’t happy with the mattress I received, however Juan, Nina, and Jake went above and beyond to remedy the situation and get me the perfect mattress that I was hoping to get. Every time I interacted with them it felt genuine and was quite simply a very good experience. I cannot recommend these guys enough! So if you’re looking for excellent service, from people who actually care about your happiness and your overall experience, then 100% head on down to Mancini’s and ask for Juan, Nina or Jake! Thanks again guys for all you did for me!

Run don’t walk there! The customer service, starting with the store manager Jake, was exceptional. From the initial review and comparison through the buying process, delivery and a slight hiccup. Jake and the team were excellent on the follow up and taking care of the hiccup quickly and efficiently. I couldn’t be happier with the mattress and the service. Fantastic!

Mancini’s has the best customer service which starts when you walk in the door. I went in this store few weeks prior just to look and to see what was there and was helped by Juan Chan which he answered all of my questions and I told him I would be back with my partner to buy a bed from him, a few weeks later we went back to see Juan. He was the reason we went to get our new bed there because I felt he was not a salesman but a person that wants the best for his customers. He was very patient and took the time to listen and find what would work for us., we asked for our bed to be delivered soon and Juan said how about the next day and it was done. We were very happy with their services, advice and communication. Well done, Juan !!
We also had some excellent help from Jake the store manager, he really knows how to take care of his customers!!!

Mancini’s did finally send a very nice Sleep World representative to our house who took ownership of the required Tempurpedic process steps in providing documentation, measurements and take photos. The documentation was sent to Tempurpedic HQ. Good news. They agreed to replace the mattress. We actually upgraded our Tempur. mattress paying the price difference. Kudos to Mancini’s management and company reps.

My wife and I walked in on a Saturday and though they where busy with others they still helped us fast, after we told them our price rage (we did our homework) they showed us and then gave us space to try them ! Not long after we made our purchase and our sales guy was great. Believe it or not our bed was delivered (nice guys and they cleaned up, drove slow and safe in our hood) on Sunday just hours after we bought it !
We love our new bed still (4 months ago now) thank you Kevin and Cherie

Mancinis is awesome. They hooked us up with a sweet futon and worked with us to keep it in our budget. Richard was very helpful and they have a great selection of beds and chairs as well definitely worth coming and checking out!

I can’t say enough about Jake at Mancini’s in Capitola! He was able to help me to purchase an adjustable bed at a great price for my friend who became wheelchair bound in a hit and run accident. The entire company really came through for us and now my friend is able to easily get to sitting so she can transfer to the wheelchair. The multiple positions and massage feature are great for helping her to re-​position herself and sleep more comfortably.
Jake and Mancini’s really came through at a difficult time and are helping to make a life that was shattered a little better.

Shady company tricked me into opening a credit card account. They told me all it was was a check to see if i qualified. Apparently I did qualify and they were surprised how good my credit was. I was like okay cool but I don’t know if I want to actually buy something. They didn’t tell me it would actually open an account. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I called Mancinis and they just said «this is how we do things.» Oh so deceiving customers is just «what you do?» Thanks for nothing.
