The Ahh Spa and Salon

Sadly, I had such a back experience here and I’m still not over it. Lashelle, the owner, did my permanent eyeliner a few years ago, so when it was time to get it done again last year, I naturally went back to her. Unfortunately, this time didn’t go so well. She cancelled on me the day before my four week touchup (an appt. that I’d had for a month!) because her place was under construction. I’m not sure why she didn’t know more than a day in advance, but it worked out because my eyes had been red and itchy since the procedure, due to what was probably a minor infection. We had to postpone the touchup until an unnamed date after my honeymoon because the construction would not be done before I left. Once I got back (a month later), no one ever returned my calls. I wanted to believe that in the midst of construction, maybe the messages were just lost, but I’m pretty sure that one of the numbers I had was her cell phone. Anyway, she had my number in my file and she should have followed up with me because A: I had an infection when I last talked to her B: I paid full price up front which included a touch up that I was owed and C: When I talked to Lashelle when she cancelled our appt., I told her that very little of the color had stayed (I think because of the swelling and infection) and that I definitely needed the touchup. She actually had the nerve to tell me when she cancelled the appt., that she wouldn’t charge me extra for having to postpone the touchup until after the honeymoon! Huh? She was the one who couldn’t keep the appt., and I obviously wasn’t going to move my honey moon, so I’m not sure why charging me extra was something that even occurred to her. Unfortunately, I paid cash up front, so I was pretty much screwed when I never heard from her again. Now I’m shopping again to do my eyeliner and have discovered that it’s hard to work on my eyes because of the scars left from a previous removal done by Lashelle (where my eyeliner had thick spots and she tried to remove them by basically scratching it out. This scabbed, and later scarred.)
Hope my experience elsewhere is better and they at least do the whole job! I love the concept and I would have been satisfied with the ahh spa if I had been treated better.

As always, the best wax ever! Lashelle is the queen of her trade. My perm. liner lasted for over 5 years and just had it touched up. A must for all. Just love her new location and as always felt right at home. Yay!
