Bruce M Jordan, DDS

So I’ve been seeing the dentists at Dr. Jordan’s practice for about 13 years. Originally Dr. Bruce Jordan used to take care of me, then his son Dr. Mark Jordan, and most recently Dr. Flavia Jordan. All three of these dentists are awesome, you are in great hands with any one of them. My last regular scheduled cleaning, about two weeks ago, ended up with needing a crown for a chipped and cracked tooth. The terrific care from Dr. Flavia and the entire staff was wonderful. Nobody wants to go to a dentist for a crown, but these professionals make it about as good an experience as possible. A big «THANK YOU» to Dr. Jordan’s entire practice.

strongly recommended. from the moment i walked in this is the best dentist i ever went to. the lady who helped me carol was exceptionally nice. i have a little bit of fear of the dentist and i felt absolutly no pain at all. total confidence. this place is super great!

They don’t make their crowns in house (takes 10 days to get them). Unfortunately, their temporary crowns fall off if you eat bread, etc. Very inconvenient. In this day and age a dentist should be able to make a crown in office. Dr Jordan is a good dentist, however it seems he works less and less and you risk getting stuck with his son, or the son’s wife. Bruce is the only one you want, but you can tell he has one foot out the door to retirement. I hope his son and daughter in law are greatful their dad built this great business for them to fall into. I’m not impressed with the kids. Sorry.

Dr. Jordan is a true expert in his field and very honest person, after the initial exam he became my family dentist, my son, my wife and I love the treatment we get with Dr. Jordan and his staff. Thank you A+++++++++++++++++++++++++

The only dentist I want to see! Dr Jordan is amazing and always has been! I have never had a bad experience with his office. Recently I was experiencing issues with my wisdom teeth and I was able to contact him over the weekend, in record time he called in my antibiotics for me! Seriously saved me from a weekend full of pain. Love this place and I plan on only taking my daughter here! They really care about their patients! –madison

This is truely a family operation. The dentists are father, son, and son’s wife. They are all so nice, professional, and seem to really care about the patients. The hygenists are great.

The dentists (son and father) are really nice. The hygienists are sweet. But the girls at the front desk are less than friendly… If you can get past that then it is great :) Oh yeah, and you HAVE TO book your appointment 6 months in advance (or you will get on a waiting list and it could be 3 months before you can get in for a cleaning — like what happened to my husband)…

I found them through my insurance website. Just picked something close to me or my office and hoped for the best. I went in ready to critique the heck out of this place because I have been to A LOT of dentists. I don’t have the best teeth (thanks to lovely genetics) and move around a lot. I’m been to more than 10 dentists and know the best and worst in terms of bedside manner, skill, and attempting to overcharge me/​add on services I don’t want to pay for.
From my first visit:
The receptionist was friendly and had me checked in not quick, but an average wait time of 15 min. Upon check out, she informed me that my insurance had not responded, so rather than have the chance of me overpaying upfront, we would take care of it when the insurance got back to her. (Other dental offices have made me over pay in advance and rather than refunding my money, they credit your future visit trying to trick
The hygienist was friendly, and apologized for any wait (although it ended up being about another 15 minutes) but made use of the time getting some history (since I was a new patient) and taking X-​rays. When the dentist came in, she made sure to help explain anything in case I hadn’t experienced the same drill or procedures before. She also gave helpful tips on flossing.
The dentist (Mark Jordan, the son) was incredibly friendly. He knew what he was doing, didn’t make my gums bleed (like other dentists have), was not rough and although he seems young, was completely competent and knew what he was doing. He also explained what he would do before he did it, and warned me if there might be impending discomfort. He also checked throughout the cleaning if I was still comfortable. My teeth were cleaned well and stayed clean (unlike other dentists who do half the job).
Out of the many dentists I’ve been to, he’s definitely in the top 3 dentists so far.

Excellent care and service. My husband and kids have been going there for 12 years and don’t want to go anywhere else.

The Jordan family, both father and son, provide the best dental service ever. I haven’t lived in the San Diego area in over 10 years but I still book all my check ups here when I am home visiting my family. I’ve only been to two other dentists in my life and both experiences sent me immediately back to the Jordans. I know my teeth are safe in their hands and they will always welcome me. They are friendly, amazing folks. I literally cannot say enough nice things about them. If you have a dental phobia this is the place.

Came in to have permanent crown inserted. Peggy again is rough with floss and shines light in my eyes. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to see dentist. Already paid my 1k for previous work and no charge for replacing temp with permanent so guess the don’t care if they get me in quickly.
Jordan wanted to grind down in the previously excavated tooth to have the crown fit better, WITHOUT numbing me. Hell no! Even the air he uses to dry out the area hurts like hell.
Even though I had already spent two hours at the office they wanted to fill some more cavities. Hmmmm… no.
On the way out I was «escorted» to the check out desk because the chart didn’t show I had paid last time. Clerk argued with me about that then checked somewhere else and discovered I had paid. Very rude and snippy.
Thanks and congratulations Jordan Dental, you have just lost my family’s business permanently.

I have been going to Dr Jordan for years. He is a very jovial fellow and will not do any unnecessary work. The hygienist and staff are super friendly too. The only minus is that it is only him working there so can be tricky getting an appt. And sometimes he is double booked so u end up sitting in your chair for too long. but other than that he is super.

Awesome dentist and hygienist staff. So happy I found someone who isn’t afraid to tell you what needs to be done without trying to upsell you on the latest dental gadgetry.
