Do-It-Yourself and Full Service Party Planning
My first goal is to make sure that your event reflects your personality, expressive style, flair and essence. The design component is what I do best, and what I put the most energy into. I’ll work with you to create an unforgettable event that is truly you-nique, by creating themes that incorporate various aspects of who you are and using them to tell a personal story about you. I want you to be able to see yourself in all the details of your event.
My second goal is to ensure that your event goes off without a hitch. By nature, I am a creative thinker and problem solver and can take control and put out almost any fire that arises. I’m a great team leader, as I have a talent for delegation and am at my best with many balls in the air. With me by your side, you can relax and enjoy not just the day of your event, but the whole process.
History
Established in 2014.
With over eight years of experience on both large and small scale events, as well as theater productions, under her belt, Lisa Ratner is creative, detailed oriented, organized, and a calm in the storm.
Wanting a more personal connection with her clients, but still yearning to produce something amazing and memorable, the switch to the collaborative and DIY style events seemed like a natural evolution for her. In addition to party planning and theatrical experience she was also a performer in various circuses around the world including Cirque du Solieil.
As a yogi and circus girl, she has a lighthearted take on life. She enjoys sharing ideas, problem solving and working with a team to make the day perfect for her clients. She believes in honesty, being up front and transparency, which is why you’ll find prices listed right on the website.
Lisa got her start in NYC planning events, in 2007, where she became the managing director and event planner for company called Party Poopers.

Business Owner
Lisa considers herself extremely lucky to do exactly what she loves in life. When she’s not working with her clients, you may find her at one of her two day jobs, where she also like to play. She may be practicing yoga at the Ashtanga Yoga Center, where she is also the manager, or swinging on the traveling rings or flying on the trapeze at Trapeze High, where she works as the director. If she is not at one of those places, she likely is spending time with her beautiful son Tucker and his daddy/her partner in life, Wayne.
