Laura McGee JD is a non-​practicing trial attorney. and seasoned mediator.

Laura brings the skills and insights she gained from her years in the courtroom and her training and experience as a mediator to her practice as a divorce mediator and coach.

Laura personally mediates about 40 – 50 divorces a year. She teaches mediation trainings and mentors other emerging mediators at times co-​mediating with them to support their clients’ success.

Laura is not only a brilliant end –thinking strategist, she has this uncanny ability to help others find their voice in the face of the chaos and conflict of divorce.

There is very little chance that divorce mediation is going to be painless or easy, but I will tell you, the process was a LOT less painful than I had anticipated, thanks to Laura. Not only was her fee totally doable, and fair (that was a huge issue as we looked for a mediator — ), but the time and support she provided was perfect and always felt productive, despite the details of our particular situation and energy. Laura not only kept the process moving along but what she asked us to provide prior to our meetings was very appropriate and didn’t feel like we were «on our own.» She is with you every step of the way, providing guidance, and equitable advice, which we reeeeeeally needed. She was so patient and supportive, and provides a lot of insight because of her experience, as well as her knowledge of divorce counseling. I really can’t say enough about her. She’s easygoing and approachable while at the same time, firm and focused when necessary. She gets it done, believe me. I am so grateful for finding Laura. Hopefully I won’t need her again, haha! Laura made the whole process of getting a divorce so much less stressful and scary. Even a relatively amicable divorce can be extremely hard. We used a Mediator but I liked having someone to call when I had questions. I felt like she gave me honest answers and helped me decide what was important to me and what wasn’t worth worrying about.
