History

Established in 1991.

I started my business in San Diego doing odd jobs and small repairs for realtors and homeowners and moved to Northern California where I applied for my contractors license and started my own contracting business. I have worked with the Home Depot installing their kitchens for for 5 years. I also installed doors and windows for them. I grew my business with the Depot and started buying and fixing houses in the Sacramento area. My first house was in Vallejo. I spent a lot of time and money fixing up the house and eventually sold it for a healthy profit. I then proceeded to buy houses in Sacramento and flipped them.

When the market dropped out in 2006 I found myself in a tough position and had to cut back on my employees. After this I had been fixing up houses in the Bay Area.

Recently I moved back to San Diego and am working with homeowners fixing up their homes. Since moving back I have been persistent in working my business to provide for my family of six and business has picked up.

I graduated from La Jolla Country Day school in 1974 and went off to study to be a mechanical engineer at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I studied at Cal Poly for three years before I decided that I didn’t like the endless equations and permutations that were involved with being and engineer. I was always the guy that would fix things-​whether it be a toaster or a broken gate and I liked to fix it.

So, I joined a framing crew and learned all about how to frame a house. When the work ran out I went to work for a brick mason and learned the ins and outs of laying brick and block. I then went to work for a concrete company building and pouring patios and walkways. After that, I went to work for a plumbing and mechanical company and went thru an apprenticeship program. I worked on many commercial projects from the Bahia Hotel to Gulf Atomic test facilities.

Since starting my own business, I have been most successful working with realtors and homeowners fixing income properties and homes.
