History

Established in 1984.

Dr. Gregory Staffon has been providing high quality dental care for going on 30 years. Southern California born and raised, he attended San Diego State University and UCLA Dental School. He has acquired extensive additional training in all specialties with an emphasis on Cosmetic Reconstruction of worn and crooked teeth.

Dr. Staffon is a Premier Provider of Invisalign and has completed hundreds of successful cases, many of his results being selected by Invisalign for their presentation Gallery.

We are always welcoming new patients to our family and look forward to providing top quality care in a relaxed and caring environment. We would love to meet you as well.

I’ve been going to Dr Staffon since October and the staff is so friendly and thorough. I’ve been having concerns about some wisdom teeth coming through, and after looking, Dr Staffon said, if I were his kid, he would wait. To me, that is a perfect response. Most dentists are so quick to send you to their buddy that is the oral surgeon, just to make a buck. You can tell him and his staff really do just want the best for our oral health. They take the time to educate and don’t pester too much about flossing ;) I did have a bit of frustration when it came down to what my insurance paid, and I wish they would have told me up front that they «accepted» my insurance but are not «contracted» with them (Cigna), because I ended up paying more out of pocket than what was expected. I would’ve gone elsewhere had I known what would’ve been covered and what wouldn’t have.

I have been going to Dr. Staffon’s office for a few years. They are GREAT at all facets of dentistry. The hygienist’s are fantastic. I see Cindy but have had others and all were great. Dr. Staffon is not only skilled at the highest level (I’ve been to a few dentists’ in 60 years!) but very observant. He doesn’t ‘cookie cutter’ his medicine. He looks around at all of the teeth and figures out what each area needs repair, restore and maintenance. He doesn’t ‘sell you’ dentistry, my biggest pet peave. I strongly recommend you go visit this amazing team. From the appointment folks all the way up to the doctor, you will get back to the way dentistry was supposed to be practiced.

This is the most warm, welcoming, accommodating, and talented dental team I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. From the receptionist to the hygienists to Dr. Staffon himself, every member of the staff made sure I, my husband, and my daughter were cared for to the best of their abilities.
At my first visit, I received the most thorough examination and cleaning I have ever experienced. On my second visit I had a mild procedure done, during which Dr. Staffon talked through his actions as he performed them, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The receptionists even gave me a small gift because my birthday is next week!
My daughter is only 3 so this was her first ever trip to the dentist. The staff was kind and gentle and did everything they could to make her happy and relaxed. She made it through the whole exam wonderfully!
All in all, we have definitely found a dentist to stick with for the long term. Thank you to the whole team for taking such good care of my family!

Five Stars plus — Wonderful staff — GREAT Dentist — I can not say enough good things about this office — First time in my life I have actually kept my follow up appointments !!! and I am OLD :) Other dentist have said my teeth couldn’t be saved — Dr Staffon and his staff have resolved all my issues and I now have very healthy gums and a great smile with a few PAINLESS visits. Saving thousands of dollars quoted by other places. You must go here — You will not regret it — I promise.

When I moved to San Diego from Washington state I was hoping to find a dentist that was as friendly and caring as my previous dentist. My mom referred me to Dr. Staffon’s office and I couldn’t be more thankful. Everyone is so attentive and sweet! Every experience I’ve had at the office has been a wonderful one. The hygenists make sure all my questions are answered and they always clearly explain everything. I have referred Dr. Staffon to friends and family, and I will continue to do so!

You never truly appreciate a good dentist until you’ve experienced a bad one. Dr. Staffon is the best there is. He truly cares about his patients and makes everything as easy and painless as possible. I have been going here for over 4 years now and love going to the dentist now. which is something I never thought I would say!

I love my smile and I can honestly say, I love going to the dentist. I have been a client of Dr. Staffon for years and have recommended him to all my friends. He and his staff are able to diagnose and treat issues that other dentists just tell you «is just the way your mouth is, or you will just have to live with». Dr. Staffon and his staff want to help you have the healthiest mouth. He also is excellent in cosmetic changes but never pressures you, he informs, and then allows you to make your choice. I have had an implant to replace a tooth that other dentists had over the years done repeated crowns on incorrectly that destroyed the bone. However, now I have a beautiful smile, with a Implant, and matching veneers that give me that perfect toothpaste commercial smile. Thank you Dr. Staffon.

Dr. Staffon’s office is easily the best I’ve been to. On my first visit to Dr. Staffon’s office (6 or 7 years ago) I met 2 patients in the waiting room who had driven up from Orange County. They both followed him when he relocated to Carlsbad, which, of course, told me I’d probably found the right dental office. The entire staff is great, starting with Maggie and Lynn at the front desk, who always are geniunely happy to see patients and ask about family and activities. The dental assisatants and hygienists are also excellent, especially Cyndy. Over the years Dr. Staffon has been both very personable and professional, always caring for my cativities and crown with as little discomfort as possible. And, while I’m aware that he offers a full array of cosmetic dental services, those services have never been pushed on me. With the care of Dr. Staffon and his staff, my teeth have never looked, or felt, better

My daughter and I have been coming to Dr. Staffon’s office since 2010. The office is a pleasing and comfortable environment. More importantly, the staff is warm and always makes you feel welcome. Finally, Dr. S has excellent knowledge in all aspects of dentistry from the basics to the complex including cosmetic and Invisalign. I would highly recommend Dr. Staffon and have referred many clients to him.

Fantastic customer service, really great staff and a dentist with the best manner I’ve ever had. I had quite a bit of work done over two days, plus a separate cleaning. All of it was great. Highly recommend. Ps — his shots were the BEST I’ve ever had — no pain!

I hate the dentist. And I don’t even have bad teeth or anything serious wrong with my mouth, I just hate it. I’ve always dreaded it, until now. I was just in recently, for the first time here, and could not be happier. The front desk staff was warm and friendly, and my hygienist was so nice and gentle and friendly, helped keep your mind off things. Dr Staffon himself is a a nice laid back guy too. It was just overall and really great experience, and I will DEFINITELY be recommending them to anyone in the area. A++ to you all, from a girl who is terrified of a water pick!
