Pretty dank burgers. Iv eaten at this location around 7 times and it is always great. I have not had a bad burger yet, and their fries are always crispy. Surprisingly they also have a few dishes if you aren’t feeling burgers: chicken wings, salad, mac and cheese, and a pretty good bread board.

My favorite is the Provençal Burger with extra pickles. Yum. I always get the onion rings with their house ketchup. Haven’t been brave enough to try anything else.

Bru Burger is a good stop. I recommend getting here early as this place is always busy. The food is top notch. I got a burger and it did not disappoint. The service here was on point as well. I would recommend eating here.

Me and a girlfriend went out for a fun night… the food was amazing! You don’t find us not talking very much but when the burgers arrived we were silent! Lol! We split the Provential Burger and Mexicali BBQ burger(replaced with a chicken breast on the second). Both incredible! Had a side of fries with ranch… ranch is amazing with a hint of dill! The cab on tap was very good as well… but they are more of a whiskey and beer place. Will definitely come here again!!!

Sat at the bar. Greeted immediately, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. I ended up getting the Provincal Burger that was recommended and it did not disappoint. It was also nice that you can do beer flights which let me sample some tasty local brews. If you’re near by definitely come by!

Finally had a chance to try this place! The hubs and I visited the new Carmel location and we’re so glad we did. It was the perfect atmosphere for a cozy Sunday date night. We both ordered burgers and they were cooked to perfection with the side orders of fries being the perfect complement(the fries do not come with your meal and they do cost $ 2 additional). I will say that the tomato jam that they use on some of their burgers was just not for me, but it may be more welcoming on others’ palates. We also were a bit disappointed with the draft selection — wish they had more to choose from. Overall, it was a great night with great food but with a few tweaks could easily boost my review to 5 stars :)

One of the best burgers in Indy! This is a great location and use of space from the prior Glass Chimney restaurant. We ate in the bar and had a great experience, Shane, server, is very helpful with recommendations and we enjoyed chatting with him. The atmosphere is relaxed and the bar is spacious. It appeared the dining room was spacious and nice for families. The variety of burgers from which to choose is extensive and they will accommodate special requests. We will definitely go back.

Mixed feelings about this place. I came here for lunch about a month ago and then decided to bring my wife for dinner on a Friday night. The wait was about 30 minutes so not too bad. However after about 40 minutes we noticed that two couples who arrived after us were seated. We asked and apparently the skipped us or missed calling us. The manager worked to get us seated and offered us a free appetizer and dessert for our wait. The food is pretty good and I don’t think the prices were bad. However, I didn’t think our table felt that clean and then watching other tables get cleared I realized why. It seemed like they were just making a quick pass and wipe down of the tables with a cloth. I didn’t seem them spray or sanitize the table and then wipe it down. I also saw quite a few crumbs on the floor around tables. I felt like they were trying to turn over the tables due to the crowd as fast as they could and not really doing the job they should have at cleaning the tables. The lower rating for me is more around the issue of loosing us on the wait list and the haste they take around cleaning tables between sittings. Advice to manager would be to take the extra minute, spray the tables with a cleaner and then wipe them down, and run a quick sweeper to get the crumbs.

I never thought I’d start a restaurant review by raving about ketchup, but DATKETCHUPDOE. It’s made in-house and is tangy and tomatoey and vinegary … it’s almost like a gazpacho. I will definitely come back to Bru Burger just to get me some more of that ‘chup. Now then, the burgers. The burgers are solid, but I think I’d like the taste of them better if I wasn’t paying 11+ dollars each for them. Fair warning about the Garlic Three Cheese Burger: It has cloves, literal CLOVES, of whole garlic in it. That was interesting. The cloves of garlic were roasted, so the garlicky taste was mellowed a bit, but it’s still a lot of garlic. We also got the Bru Burger, which had caramelized onions in it, which is always a plus. You can put caramelized onions on almost anything and it makes it better. The fries were just OK — same with the onion rings. But luckily, you can eat those two with the amazing ketchup, so everyone wins.

I’ve been to this Bru location multiple times and it never fails. It’s now considered my husband’s PERFECT burger– and believe me, the hunt had been on for a looooong time. I have tried many things on the menu. The nachos? Amazing. We’ve also had nothing but great service here as well. Prompt, polite and helpful every time! The atmosphere is definitely more laid back than the busy downtown location– I like that! We’ll be back– probably sooner than later!

Good beer line up. A lot of variation for a smaller line up. Our group got a wide range of food and everything was great. We started with the Triple Dip. We could have had more pita for our group but each dip was tasty. I think our table favorite was the pulled pork sandwich. The pork was tender and well seasoned. Our server was also great! Very knowledgable and friendly!

Our group started off with two Bru Boards off of the appetizer menu. We weren’t disappointed either. I would mostly likely come back and only order the Bru Board if I wanted a light lunch. I decided to try the Melt Your Face Burger for my main entrée and wasn’t disappointed. It was flavorful and melted my face. A win win. My wife had the Ahi Tuna Burger and wasn’t as impressed as I was with my burger. We were expecting a burger that had slices of tuna. This burger while tasteful was just a patty. The staff was very friendly and we only waited approximately 25 minutes at a prime time hour on a Friday evening. We will be coming back for more.

Every bite was perfection. It started with the unsuspecting gorgonberry pecan salad, complete with crumbles of gorgonzola cheese, candied pecans, and an incredible cranberry-poppyseed dressing. I could eat this salad ALLDAY. The«small» portion is pretty large, too — and you can add shrimp, chicken, or mahi to make it a meal! But then the burger. I was tempted to try the highly-acclaimed provencal(next visit) but opted for the classic«the beginning.» Mouthwateringly delicious(and a bit messy to eat, too). The only disappointment was that I got full and couldn’t finish my burger — I ended up taking about a third of it to-go. I added fries for $ 2 since everything is a la carte at these fancy-schmancy gourmet burger joints and they did not disappoint, complete with house made ketchup sauce. Crispy, salty, delectable. BUTWAIT. My dining companions and I split one of the signature desserts, the peach white chocolate bread pudding. Sounds like a weird mix, right? Frankly, I didn’t taste too much peach/white chocolate flavors but that didn’t matter. It came a la mode with caramel sauce and candied pecans. What a winner to finish off the meal. We fought over the last few bites, to say the least. To top it all off, our waiter was delightful and I really like the vibe of the place. It was full to the brim with guests on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm, so maybe consider making reservations if they take them. Oh, and don’t forget to sign up for the free rewards card!

As a big fan of downtown location I was excited for the opening. Finally, a patio in Carmel to hang out with adults and enjoy the evenings over drinks and adult food. Gorgeous setting, love the lights, and the atmosphere. I usually opt for the Sriracha Caeser, and snack burger. This visit was the Provencal but have tried several versions and no complaints on any version. Split the fries/onion rings as the orders are huge. My hubby can finish a regular size burger if starving but two adults can easily split with a few sides and leave full.

One of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had(and I’ve had a lot of veggie burgers!). I had devoured the vegan quinoa burger at the location downtown and liked it, so this time decided to try something different and went with the«The End» burger with a veggie patty subsitute. Yummm!!! The End, I think, means either it will kill you with deliciousness, or it’s The End of trying to find the best sandwich. The house-made veggie patty itself was super messy and kept falling apart, but full of flavor — beans, veggies, I’m not sure what all was in it — and still moist and not overcooked. And The End of the toppings was a fried egg(aahhh what could be better on a sandwich?), horseradish havarti cheese(so amazing, with a creamy kick, I’ve been keeping an eye out for if this is a thing you can get in stores), carmelized onion, truffle aioli, lettuce, and tomato. And the house made bun was delicious too! There was an issue with the quinoa burger my dad ordered — it was missing a couple of the tasty toppings(he wasn’t sure, but since I had it before I remembered it was supposed to have a pepper jelly) and was therefore dry, and so he told the server and she quickly offered to replace it with the correct order. Only, when it came back, it had the wrong bun… he had ordered the gluten free bun. It took quite a while to get all this straightened out, but they did eventually get it right and he really liked the correct quinoa burger. We were in a little side room up some stairs(next to the chimney) that we actually really liked because it was quieter, but I think that may be why the server didn’t come and check on us very often. But thankfully we weren’t in a hurry, and for me, the food, and even just the fact that they have great veg and gluten-free options, really still make it worth five stars. Look out, Bru Burger, my expectations are now high for the next time I come devour The End!

Been wanting to go for awhile now, but I am definitely glad I didn’t go within the first month of business, always shaky. I went the other night with my wife and a friend. We grabbed a table in the bar, ordered drinks then took a quick walk around to check the place out. I worked at the Glass Chimney which is what was there before Bru Burger moved in. You can still see the layout on the Chimney side! Once our friend arrived we ordered their triple dip appetizer. It came with toasted bread, guacamole, hummus, and a goat cheese and peppadew spread. It also came with onions straws which were old and cold. If fried onions are on your menu, they had better be fried to order or it will be wrong twice as often as its right. Naturally we all went with burgers for dinner, which are reasonably priced unless you want a side, sold a la carte. I got the Stilton blue burger, with truffle aioli, onion straws, and spinach. The burger was good, and cooked correctly(medium rare) but way under seasoned, if it had been seasoned at all. Heavy salt and pepper, that’s all beef needs. I’ll definitely go back to try some of the different burger set ups, but for now, 3 stars for lack of attention to detail.

Great gourmet burgers. The options are wonderful and quality is great. It’s one of those sort of gastropubs that serves quality of food and it’s priced right. I love the fact that they have a kid’s menu and the side options are great. Their homemade ketchup is addicting! I’m normally a ranch dipper kind but their ketchup is divine. This Carmel location is pretty big. Plenty of parking and it’s closed to the bmv. They also have an outdoor patio which is perfect for warm and sunny weather.

This review is about the new Carmel location only!!! To my fellow gluten free folks: The GF menu is limited, and on the GF menu they fail to mention that one can swap out beef for chicken. The turkey burger is NOTGF. Much sadness! If you are Paleo(as I am): Be careful!!! As far as the summer outdoor atmosphere: Loved their patio with outdoor strand lighting. Very nice. Service: Nice wait staff, but soooo slow at 7:15 pm on a Thursday night. In Carmel??? Had to ask out server about our order. Was told it was given to another customer! We had to ask??? Why didn’t she say something first??? No comps. No apologies. No nothing. Overall: Food was just meh at best. My dining partner is not GF, but was un-enthusiastic about his tepid meal. Sorry Bru. We may try you again in a few months to see if this was just a bad night.

My sister wanted to take my aunt for lunch since she loves burgers and has never been to Bru. I went with the farmstead today since I missed out a few days ago. I can’t blame my husband, but he said it was great and I just thought it was okay. The Provençal is the better choice of the two for sure. I was sad I didn’t get it again. Our burgers were all pretty greasy today too and I didn’t notice that the first day. Like the bottom bun was soaked and dripping grease. I actually feel a little sick now. The onion rings were huge and my aunt liked them. I’m not a fan but I tried one. They give you their homemade ketchup to go with it. She also got a side of fries and I grabbed a few of hers which was plenty. Also the parking lot was packed, but they still had plenty of tables with no wait.
