Rich’s Hauling & Yard Clean-Up

We needed an old hot tub hauled away. I was given a super quick response (on a weekend at that) and he came out to look at it that same day with an estimate. Scheduled for Monday morning and job completed quickly. I would highly recommend! Fast and professional. Five stars!

These men are fantastic. They came out move all my tree stubs and all tree shrub in an hour for a great price. I would recommend them to any and everyone.

I recently purchased a fixer upper property in South Natomas. The former short-​term owners left behind piles of their own debris and a spa (science experiment) left years ago by the original owner. In addition, they had not cleaned out the 28 years of accumulated stuff in the garage (like cans of old paint and old cabinetry) from the original home owner. I found Rich on Unilocal and based upon the good reviews, gave him a call. He came over the same day, quoted a fair price, and set up at time to do the work. He and his crew showed up and went to work. As the tons of junk left my yard and garage I felt lighter by the minute. Rich and his crew did an excellent job and cleaned up all the areas before they left. I highly recommend that you give him a call.

If there were ten stars I would definitely give Rich a full score! I saw all of the positive comments on Unilocal and made my decision based on those reviews. Well let me tell you I was not dissapointed! I called and left a message. He called me back within 10 minutes. Wow fast right? Then he gave us a quote that was a very decent price. He confirmed he would be to our house within the hour. Guess what? He was! What a good business man to be reliable and keep his word. We had cleaned out our garage and had junk like old tires and bbq grill in our back yard. Rich got there and had that mess loaded up within 15 minutes. I have never seen someone work so hard and efficiently! He is honest quick and fair in pricing. My garage and backyard look very nice now thanks to Rich. I will be recommending him to all friends family and neighbors. Believe the reviews he is just as everyone including me have reported. Thank you Rich!

Rich and his crew are great. He came by for a quote just a few days after I contacted him and the job was done within the week. The price was fair. The work was done quickly and exactly as we discussed. Rich’s Hauling is for everyone who doesn’t have a truck, doesn’t want to haul their stuff to the dump and/​or doesn’t feel like spending the next 8 weekends cleaning up their long-​neglected backyard.

Rich provides excellent service and was able to come out to my residence on short notice on a Saturday. He quoted me a price over the phone that I thought was reasonable enough where I didn’t shop around. Upon his arrival, he loaded the trash up but had more room in his truck. He waited for us while we cleaned some more junk out and we were not rushed in any way. Will definitely be calling him back for the next round.

I’d highly recommend Rich to anyone who has a yard that is in less than tip-​top shape. Rich and his crew can make anything go away, and they do so with speed and efficiency.
I first found Rich through Unilocal (of course) and decided that he was the man for my job, both because of his amazing reviews and because the title of his company is literally exactly what I was looking for. We met at my tenant-​occupied property and the place was in worse shape than I thought. A dead tree close to collapsing in the front yard, stuffed gutters, a neglected backyard and a ton of trash to be thrown away. Rich was a friendly guy and we did the walk-​through together. He said he could tackle it all, no problem.
I returned two days later and he had lived up to his word. The trash was gone, the gutters were clean and the tree had disappeared except for the faint remains of a trunk that had been eaten to the core by pests. He even texted me over pictures to exemplify his work. It all came at a price tag of $ 500, which I considered to be a pretty decent deal. I have no doubts I’ll give him my business again in the future.

Wow! The Unilocal reviews were great and Rich certainly lived up to the reviews.
I called for an estimate and Rich came by two days later. He said he would be by between 9 and 11 and he showed up right at 9. I love that. We walked through the yard and I told him what I wanted done. I added a number of things from what I originally wanted done because once you start getting your yard clean, you might as well get it all done.
Rich and his crew arrived promptly at 8 a.m. the following week and began the work. I had my gutters cleaned, my yard cleared of weed, several bushes removed, several volunteer trees removed, some beds cleaned out and bushes pruned in the front yard. Everything was done to my satisfaction.
I was home part of the time and they checked to make sure exactly what I wanted done. After they had completed the work, they went over everything with me and I was extremely happy.
Rich and his crew are friendly and very hard working. I couldn’t be happier with the work. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our house was vacant foreclosure before we bought it — needless to say the yard was bad. He cleaned out the front and back. All the dead leaf piles and branch debris, ripped out the ivy, removed some cumbersome old cement chunks, trimmed all the over growth off the trees/​hedges, and removed some piles of wood and fencing. Rich came out for an estimate within a few days and scheduled us for the following week (Oct 2015).
His guys sure cleaned the place out. I kinda felt like our rose bushes got a little butchered, but one of them seems to be recovering fine (but I did tell him to trim them so maybe thats on me). I thought the price was pretty high, but we needed our yard gutted. And gut it he did!

I’ve used Rich’s company several times now. Today I needed him again. As usual my experience was fantastic! They showed up on time, were quick and efficient and reasonably priced. They cleaned up the area after they were done loading and were very professional. I will definitely use Rich’s company again if I need to without a single qualm.
I highly recommend Rich. He’s always been very fair and competitive with his pricing and flexible with his availability to help me when I need him. He really makes a difficult time or situation worry free with his dependability and honesty. I contacted Rich based on these Unilocal reviews, and there’s no exaggeration, him and his crew did a fantastic job cleaning out my front and back yard. Rich responded personally to my request for an estimate. He came out and walked our whole property while I listed all the things we would like done. He gave me an on the spot estimate which seemed reasonable and on he went.
Wife and I talked about it over the next day or two and we couldn’t afford to do both the front/​sides and the back. Called Rich and asked if we could split it up. He came back to our house in Rocklin the same day, from Rancho Cordova, to give us a new estimate. Upon request he gave us a work date that was one day later… one day.
His guys came out and did the work while we were doing our work. Arriving home the place was completely cleaned out. All bushes and brush removed, flower beds clear of weeds and debris and all the items for hauling we’d put out had been removed. Beds, old canister pool filter, patio table frame, patio umbrellas, screen covers for our windows, etc.
He did it all, he did it right, he did it fast and he did it for a reasonable cost. We’ll definitely be calling next month to finish up with the back of the house. Recommended.

Rich and his team were very professional in helping us to remove all the sod from our overly large front yard. We are going low water, low maintenance. Rich quoted a great price, was very friendly and they were very fast. Recommend them highly.

Rich and his crew deserve each one of the 5 stars. I needed a lot debris items hauled away, but what I really needed was overgrown weeds removed from my vegetable garden. It was an overwhelming task for me to do on my own. He normally doesn’t do jobs this tedious, but he saw that I really needed his help.
He and his crew did an amazing job removing all of the weeds around the beds and were careful of not damaging any of my vegetables.
I am so pleased and overcome with joy.

I called Rich to schedule an estimate for my yard clean up. Rich answered right away and was extremely professional. Rich was at my house just after a few days and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work I was requesting.
Within two days Rich was at my house with his crew. In just a few hours they cleared up a very large area of weeds from my backyard, as well as around the house, cleared wood and debris, cleaned out the gutters on the house as well as the gutters in front of the house and took the junk that I requested.
I would recommend Rich and his crew to all my family and friends.

I did not end up using Rich’s Hauling & Yard Clean-​Up, however I am posting this review because of Rich’s honesty and quick turn around to answering my questions, which I think is rare. After one time of calling and him picking up immediately (never happens with other companies) I told him what my husband and I are looking to do, which I admitted is a small haul and probably won’t take long at all. He very kindly offered to come take a look at what we have, but said that their base charge is probably just too expensive for the amount of work we need done, and suggested we find someone who does smaller jobs at a cheaper rate.
I was very impressed with his helpfulness AND honesty, which is hard to come by these days. If we were to have something bigger needed we would definitely use them.

Rich has done 4 large pick ups for me and has done an excellent job each and every time! It is hard to find people in this industry whom you can trust to show up on time and do what they say. He and his crew give no BS and are QUICK!
I am doing a remodel and looked into multiple options for waste removal and Rich is by far the most economical and accommodating. No hassles with large overpriced bins or small Bagster loads. Rich easily gets two Bagsters in one truck load for half the price.

I called Rich on a Thursday night after a home improvement project was becoming unmanageable for my boyfriend and I. Rich answered the phone on the first try, had ability the NEXT MORNING, and had competitive rates (I always get three bids before picking a contractor).
He showed up within his two hour window and brought one extra laborer. They were fast and efficient. They hauled all of my broken concrete in two loads within an hour. My yard and walkways were swept and left in great condition. No unnecessary banging around. I’m a happy camper.
