The Fun Ones is areas largest provider of Amusements and Tents in Chicagoland. Company picnics and festivals is our other specialty. We are the only company that owns and supplies all the tents, tables, chairs, rides and games needed to put on the best picnic or carnival. Get it all with just one phone call. We provide the fun and entertainment all season long with arcades, pool tables, and audio video entertainment.

History

Established in 2002.

The Fun Ones Party Rental was founded by Joni. She had the dream of helping other mom’s throw themed events in easy to do packages that would create found memories for the kids and all the guests. This dream grew as she was able to serve the community by expanding into youth groups, school carnivals, and scout troops. Today her dreams continue to grow as word of our customer service and equipment options expands. The events we do today include company picnics, festivals, weddings, tradeshows, fundraisers, and corporate team building and sales breakouts.

We also carry the largest selection of Zip Lines, Rock Climbing walls, meachanical bulls, Eurobungys, and smaller carnival rides.

Joni is a mother of 4 and has a background in teaching preschool and coaching rhythmic gymnastics. She helped open the USGF National Rhythmic Gymnastics Training Center in Downers Grove for the 1996 Olympic Team.

Kristin G was so helpful in answering all of my questions about their products! (trust me, there were a lot of questions). She was very responsive and even helped me figure out if the different games would fit in the room. We ended up renting the «pop a shot» basketball game for our wedding reception. Kristin made sure that the game was delivered and picked up on time. The guests loved playing with it throughout the night. We will definitely be renting from the company again! Thank you Fun Ones!

I rented 2 classic arcade games, a pinball machine and a vintage-​style photo booth for a company 80’s party. The quality of the games and photo booth were good and the people from The Fun Ones were very accommodating and easy to work with. I would recommend them for their service and selection of fun stuff for parties and celebrations.

I had a great experience. I live in an apartment and I do not have a place to store fold out tables and chairs. It was a simple order and they made it quick and effortless. I thought it would be a headache to rent tables and chairs around Christmas. Sue was very nice and listened to what I was looking for. I would highly recommend this company for your event planning needs.

While there are many providers out there, The Fun Ones are the Best Ones! I obtained estimates from various companies, but chose The Fun Ones after my initial phone conversation with Kristin. She was super nice, up front about costs/​charges and quickly helped me to determine what was needed for our party. Brett was the gentleman that delivered the items to our office and he was just as great as Kristin. It was a pleasure working with both of them and their assistance is greatly appreciated. Great experience. We received confirmation right away and after hours calls to ensure proper and satisfactory delivery of the rental item. Staff arrived, provided setup and later tear down very quickly and efficiently. Definitely recommend from front office to professional service in delivery.

The Fun Ones were hired by a neighbor for a party. As they were packing up, they blocked our driveway and a nearby fire hydrant for 90 minutes with their truck, and ended up dumping soapy water all over our yard.
Their lack of consideration for their client’s neighbors showed a lack of professionalism, and, in addition, I’m sure that a number of potential new clients (including myself) would never consider them as a result of their behavior in my neighborhood.
Unless you want to be in a position where you’re trying to justify their actions to your neighbors and guests, I’d suggest you find another company that is more considerate and professional.

I found this company on Unilocal.They offer tons of event equipment. The prices are great. As low as $ 1 per chair for brown folding chairs (not too comfortable but got the job done). Eight foot tables were $ 9 each.
My contact with the company was Kristin Goss. She was great about getting back to me and following up on my questions. This was great and saved me any headaches with phone calls because she was awesome about responding via email.
They initially wanted me to come pick up the items. I asked if they could deliver. Their company was in Carol stream and so was the event but still charged us $ 55 for delivery without set up.
Set up was like fifty cents extra per table or something like that and per chair. That bothered me but at their prices, I got over it quickly.
The chairs are delivered on this rolling thingy and held by a belt. They do not move easily on grass! We ended up carrying two chairs at a time to the backyard. The tables were super heavy and gave us a workout. The man delivering it and his partner were nice enough to at least deliver them near the yard but not in it.
Total cost of 40 chairs, six 8 foot tables, plus deliver was $ 149. I wish delivery included the delivery to the backyard. It’s not like they are setting up. You’re just walking an extra distance. But whatever. They still deserve 4 stars because all in all it was a good experience and I would definitely recommend using them!

I just planned my company’s summer party for 650 people and Kristin helped me. She was great! I had picked my own games to have but she suggested a game called Strike A Light. We rented one along with 6 other games and the Strike A Light was the most popular one! My experience dealing with The Fun Ones from the planning stages to the completion of my event was awesome. Everyone is so helpful and responded very quickly to my many questions by phone or by email. I will definitely work with them again in the future. I am extremely satisfied with the service for our rental. I rented a combo inflatable for our son’s 3rd birthday & hubs birthday party. I also rented tables and chairs for the party.
We received a confirmation call the day before telling us what time delivery would be — sometime around 7am. They weren’t kidding! Hubs woke up at 6:45am and they were already in our driveway waiting.
Delivery was smooth, setup of the inflatable went well. We had to set up our own tables and chairs — not a big deal.
They showed up promptly at 8pm to pick everything up (boooo hooooo).
Can’t wait for our party next year!

First off, I wanted to mention that the customer service was GREAT with this company. They were very easy to work with and very accommodating in any changes or additions to my contract. If this review was simply on customer service I would give them 5-​stars.
However, I rented tables and chairs from them for a large holiday dinner I hosted, and I was surprised upon receiving the actual tables and chairs. The condition of the tables and chairs were nothing like the pictures online. I was not expecting perfect condition as I know these items are rented out regularly, but the tables and chairs I received were so beat up looking. It was not the look I was going for. Luckily the tables were covered with table cloths, but the chairs were SO awful looking.
I would most certainly use them to rent a bounce house or something of that variety in the future but definitely not tables and chairs.

I was absolutely satisfied with bounce house rental. The staff was easy to work with, professional and friendly. The guys that came to set up the bounce house were super friendly and handled everything with great care, making sure I was satisfied.
The only reason I couldn’t give them 5 stars is because I do feel they are a little bit over priced. However, it doesn’t stop me from using them. This is my second year using them and will continue because I know the quality and service are superior. Thanks for providing great entertainment for the kids!
