Our spa is based on the belief that our customers’ needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. We only hire the very best therapists available and we pay them well.

As one of very few strictly legitimate, licensed massage centers in the Dallas/​Fort Worth Metroplex we enjoy a great reputation in our community. We have one of the nicest, cleanest Spas in the State of Texas! The entrance to Sweet Escape Spa features a comfortable, relaxed waiting area with soft lighting, a soothing waterfall, tasteful decorations and a leather sofa in front of a beautiful fireplace and wall mounted flat screen TV.

History

Established in 2008.

Sweet Escape Spa was created to cater to men looking for a great place with a warm, friendly, professional environment for a great massage experience.

We were previously located just down the street in Addison before moving to our current location in April of 2009.

Our clients include the average working man as well as lawyers, doctors, business owners and professional athletes. We were featured in the Dallas Observers Best of Dallas Magazine and are considered DFW’s Best Men’s Spa.

Sweet Escape Spa is a State Licensed Professional Massage Establishment that caters primarily to men. Our fantastic staff of beautiful and very talented LMTs (Licensed Massage Therapists) have made our spa second to none.

We have been featured each of the past two in the Dallas Observer’s Best of Dallas annual magazine! We have a clean, beautiful, upscale center that is centrally located near the North Dallas Tollway as well as LBJ Freeway (Hwy 635) and I-​35E (see map).

Joy has been involved in the professional massage business for 5 years and is very familiar with the ins and outs of operating a Professional Men’s Spa. In catering to professional men it is our objective to provide a friendly, upscale environment staffed by the very best therapists around. We currently have a very diverse staff of female therapists from all around the world.

Although our clients have high standards, it is our objective to exceed those expectations day in and day out. It is also our objective to provide a variety of professional services to make us more of a «One Stop, Man Shop». We have therapists with a variety of health and beauty licenses allowing us to offer not only massage therapy but body scrubs, facials, grooming and waxing services as well as manicures.

It is also Joy’s objective to create a warm and friendly environment where our therapists love their job and where we know and greet our clients by name.

I feel compelled to share our experience at Sweet Escape Men’s Spa because it was so positive. I had experienced my first massage at Massage Envy a year ago. It was a couples massage and my wife and I hated it. We left in more pain than we came in, and felt pressured to tip even though we were dissatisfied with the service provided. So after a year of hesitation on the therapeutic business, we tried SEMS. We saw a KGBdeal for them that we accidentally snoozed on, but we decided to try them out anyway. I’ll just say, the experience totally repaired any doubts in my mind about what a massage should feel like.
We made an appointment the day previous though walk-​ins are available. I do a lot of research before purchasing anything, so I called ahead and asked if my wife would feel comfortable especially since they advertise themselves as a Men’s spa. The lady on the phone said they have a larger base of male cliental and they have a TV on espn in the lobby, but it’s not like a «strip club where a woman has to accompany a man». After our massage, my wife said she was really impressed and would consider coming back on her own.
So we did a 60 min swedish massage with an added 15 min first time body scrub. We decided to do separate rooms since they didn’t have anything special for couples (besides having them in the same room and lower pricing). Our therapists were nice and welcoming (Sara and Christie) and made us feel relaxed before we even started. I elected to do the scrub first then the massage. The scrub was a little uncomfortable, but it’s purpose is to peel off dead skin, so I imagine comfort isn’t the priority. Afterwards, I showered, then headed to my room. One thing I really enjoyed is that they start the clock when they start massaging you, not when you enter the building. So you pay for the service, not for filling out paperwork and getting dressed/​undressed. The massage itself was amazing! I couldn’t remember the last time I felt so relaxed (my wife says I’m always uptight).
My wife laughs at how much I’ve raved about the massage and Sweet Escape as the days have passed. I just can’t wait til we have another opportunity to try them again!
