After some heavy rains in July, the ant population decided to visit our kitchen. After unsuccessful«home remedies» to get rid of them, we decided to call the professionals. Bug Stop Services was highly-rated and after calling around to four other exterminators to get price quotes, Bug Stop has the best price and best guarantee. Cesar came out and explained in detail what he was going to do and what he was treating the house with. He treated the whole kitchen and bathroom(plumbing is useful entry for ants) and did the whole outside perimeter of the house. Cesar also insured us that the spray he used was safe for pets since we had 3 indoor dogs(after it dried a couple of hours later, we allowed them to roam around the house). He told us that he was extremely confident that they would be gone very quickly. The ants might still come back for a short time, which they did, but they would be attracted to the spray, carry it back to the nest, pass it on to the other ants and eventually kill the whole nest. The next day, there were no more ants, even outside! Cesar was informative, encouraging, friendly and very professional and I would highly recommend Bug Stop Services to anyone who needs a good exterminator. They also have optional future treatment plans as well. We had them come out in August and a month later, the ants are still gone! Call them now!

This was one of three companies I had come out for a bid on termite work at my home. They were the only company that charged $ 90 for the inspection which they were upfront about and I was fine with b/c a termite inspection can take some time and effort… NOT with Bug Stop Inc. The inspection consisted of looking at only visible termite damage and peeping into the attic from the comfort of a ladder. Total time, approximately 20min.(that comes to $ 270/hr, I am in the wrong line of work). To draw up the estimate, the inspector inquired as to the square footage of the home and did some calculations in his head and voila there’s your number… magical. NO measurements, no diagrams, no walk through/around the entire property, just a magical number off the top of your inspector’s head. Two words, NOTHANKS. A bit of advice to fellow Unilocalers, ALWAYS get at least three estimates on any work you plan on having done to your home.
