WARNING STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND TODD KRALIK!!!
Guaranteed Nightmare they should be named. I feel its my duty to warn others about this company and Todd Kralik.
Here we are 1.5+ years after starting a (3) three bathroom remodel which is not complete. A full length novel would be required to capture all of the issues I have dealt with, while dealing with Todd Kralik & Construction Guaranteed. So here are some bullet points:
— Todd has now blown me off several times, for scheduled work to be done,
— Todd will not answer my calls and does not call me back (he does intermittently respond to some texts
— Todd has time after time proven to be unprofessional; does not proactively reach out (EVER), responds to only some emails, doesn’t take notes on the job, forgets most things, etc. etc.
— This company did not do any work themselves; 90%+ of the work was subcontracted out to random subcontractors
— This company sends their workers to YOUR HOME with no supervision, basically requiring me (the homeowner) to do their work (as contractor managers) for them
— I caught one of their workers pissing ON MY HOUSE
— I caught one of their workers rifling through my cabinets
— Sliding barn doors were supposed to be installed in my master bath 1+ year ago; has never been done.
— I asked specifically for thin grout lines in the vanity bathroom; came home from work and they were think. They had to pull up the tile and re-​do the work.
— They installed and painted closet doors in my master bedroom; the paint job was done very poorly; they were supposed to repaint them and never did. Multiple times per day I have to look at the chips in the paint and terrible paint on my new (expensive) closet doors
— They promised to finish the 2nd bathroom by Thanksgiving so my Mother could visit; still today it is not finished.
— They were supposed to paint and install my front door, which they’ve had now for about a year; they still have not brought my door back (which I asked for multiple times)
Note: these are only the main points; high level issues with this company and Todd I have texts and emails going back the full year and a half, fraught with issues and b.s. So in summary if you’d like to keep your sanity and health, I recommend finding professionals.

I just called to ask for an estimate on some interior work. Whoever I spoke with said that we don’t need them (our jobs are too small) and gave some helpful advice on which direction we should go. Very helpful and saved us both some time.

What’s guaranteed, annoyance?
This happened back in February, but peeps need to know.
Don’t recall if it was Todd or Jeff who visited me, fearfully, to give an estimate, but I do know he wasted my valuable time. I say fearfully, because he displayed zero confidence while assessing my condo building’s three problems, and was unable to give an estimate for any repairs. For each, he whined one or more of the following:
— I don’t know
— can’t tell what’s wrong
— this is strange/​unusual
— not something we do
— blah, blah, blah
The main problem was a collapsing cement landing, for which he said he can’t give an estimate, because he doesn’t know what’s underneath the surface. FYI, the 3 other companies I called were ALL able to give an estimate, and they all said simply that the landing needs to be torn out and a new one put in. None of them whimpered about what’s underneath, and besides, there was a hole through which the underneath could be seen.
If this invertebrate still works for the company, he needs to be fired immediately.

When it was time to choose a contractor to remodel our kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and add on a sunroom and front entry lattice arbor, we carefully combed through the Unilocal reviews. We selected Construction Guaranteed because they were universally recommended. They gave us down-​to-​earth advice, a reasonable price, and great design ideas, so we hired them for our job. Now that it’s done, we couldn’t be more pleased. We not only have a gorgeous kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, sunroom, and entryway (they kindly installed our front door free of charge), but we also extended the work to include hardwood flooring throughout the living room and sunroom. Todd was very easy to work with and all his guys were great. Well done, everyone, and we’ll call you when we’re ready to do the other bathroom!

We’ve been remodeling our 75 year old house since we purchased it a year and a half ago. Unfortunately, our first contractor was dishonest, leaving us with unfinished and unsafe work. So, when Todd and Rich met us, they met with extremely skeptical clients because of our remodeling history.
Todd and Rich really had to step up to prove themselves… and they did. We dealt mostly with Todd (poor guy) because he’s the hands on construction expert. Todd is immensely knowledgeable in construction issues. But I think Todd’s gift and where he really shines is his ability to deal with difficult issues in a diplomatic and honest way. I can’t tell you how much this means in my book. He patiently worked with us on a very difficult project and was fair and honest with us when things did not go as planned. Believe me, our 75 year old house gave him a lot of surprises to handle!
I am very pleased we found Construction Guaranteed, Inc. and won’t hesitate to refer them to anyone needing construction services. In fact, we have already referred them to some of our friends!

We hired Construction Guaranteed Inc to remodel our kitchen. The best construction company we’ve ever dealt with. Our kitchen is beyond belief. We are more than happy with the completed kitchen. We also had two gates and a door replaced which are beautiful they were built onsite. Todd, Rich, Que, Jason, Andy, Hugo & everyone who was part of our remodel were wonderful. The area was always clean & tidy.
Thank you all soooooo much for the love you show in your work and the care you showed to us and our dogs during our remodel. We will miss you all !!! We are having you all back to replace our windows.

Had three bathrooms done. One completely and the other two with cabinets, lights, fan, etc. completed the job on time and on budget. Everyone is easy to work with and responsive. Made slight changes to the original plan without additional charges. I like that cause there are some that will nickel and dime you.
I plan on calling them on some other things I want done.

We hired Construction Gauranteed for a bathroom addition to our house. After several estimates, we decided to work with Construction Gauranteed. Not only was their bid very competitive, we felt very comfortable working with Todd and Jeff and we were excited about their vision for the project.
The fact that Construction Gauranteed took the project from conception to completion with all the services offered in-​house was very attractive. There was one point of contact to handle everything from the architectural plans to the permitting to the inspections. There were a number of different subcontractors that showed up to complete various tasks. All of these crews were hard working, professional and produced quality work.
Our bathroom came out more beautiful than I expected and on schedule. I would highly recommend Construction Gauranteed. In fact, we have already done so and our friends are currently using Construction Gauranteed for a home renovation.

Construction Guarantee did an amazing job with our house! The work was impeccable and timely. We had a bathroom added and had a pergola installed in our back yard. The material and quality of construction was better than we could have ever imagined. We didn’t have a good idea of what was possible with the remodel but they had a lot of create ways to handle small spaces. Construction Guarantee stuck with the agreed price and never asked for a cent more. They were very responsive throughout the process — literally texted or called back within minutes. These guys (all of them) were great. From the first meeting, they were timely, courteous, professional and honest. They upgraded our sunroom, replaced the roof, rewired the electrical, new gutters, sealing, paint and did a beautiful job. They were hard workers, completing the job in 1 ½ days. They even did extra electrical work for the same initial quote! They even cleaned up the work site!
I will definitely be using them again for my next project. I would recommend them without hesitation!

Rich had completed two projects at my house, a sun room and sound proof sound design room. Tonight, I was in trouble on a project and called Rich at 8pm on Friday night to see if he could help me out. He showed up a half hour later and worked four hours to save my project. Two Locksmiths had badly bungled a studio door and locks. Rich had to re-​engineer the seal and locks while navigating the prior locksmith poor workmanship. It was impressive. Great guy. Your in good hands if you give him a call.

My wife (Tammi) and I did extensive research before we finally decided to remodel our kitchen. After talking with Rich and Todd from CGI, we new we had made the best choice in the company to handle this project. From the day we said «go» they were responsive and ensured every detail we discussed as part of the blueprints were carried out… including the multitude of changes we requested along the way. They took our retro 1970’s kitchen and made it a kitchen any chef would be proud to work in. Both Rich and Todd were always eager to help us and were very professional handling the job like it was for their own house. We now are enjoying our kitchen every day and as each day passes, we still can’t believe the remarkable job that was done.
