Motel 6 Carson

Decent (clean) room. But just a heads up, the girl at the front desk was rude. Parking at this place is a bit of a challenge. Where ever you park you’ll have to walk a bit. Over all it was an ok stay (just for the night) but would stay here longer then a day. You get what you pay for. And be sure you pack your shampoo and other toiletries. All you get here is toilet paper and a bar of soap. Yea they have towels. (But no thicker then a baby wipe)

This place is very nice the shopping is very very close and the staff is very nice plus the rooms are clean. I had never been to a clean motel 6 before but this takes the cake! Very nice! Very modern! I would stay here again!!!

First time i’ve ever checked into a motel 6. Online reservations were very simple and easy to use. After completing my online reservation, I called to confirm and everything was fine.
Upon arriving, the front desk was very welcoming. She gave me easy instructions of where to park and where to enter. Although, when I tried to enter the back way, one of the guests did not have her dog on a leash and it took me longer than expected to get to my room. I think they should require dog owners to have their dogs on leashes!
After about 10 or 15 minutes, I finally got to my room. The room looked very clean and tidy. No odors and didn’t seem to have any dirt on the floor. The bathroom was fully stocked with clean towels and a fresh roll of toilet paper. The waterworks worked just fine.
The AC was perfect, especially on a hot day like today. The linens were soft and very clean. There is a refrigerator in the room, but no microwave. Each bag has two pillows, but you can easily request more if needed.
The only problem I have staying here isn’t really an issue with the place, but so much more with the other guests staying here. It’s 8 PM and it seems that my room was place near some intoxicated guests that like to slam their doors left and right. I called the front desk and the guy who answered was very kind and told me he would look into it. So far so good, I haven’t heard anymore slamming. But hey, the night is young!
So overall, the accommodations aren’t too shabby considering it is a Motel 6. The TV reception isn’t very good and one of the lights does not work. Still, those aren’t too big a deal. It’s just I wish it could be a little more quiet!

We found this place while planning a trip to California. On this trip we were traveling with my mom, husband and myself. We booked the room through Expedia a month in advance. The pictures on their website are fairly accurate.
If you are thinking this is a five star resort you clearly have never stayed at a Motel 6. It’s a bare bones situation. No shampoo or conditioner and no elevator. Things that are included in the room:
–Clean and relatively comfortable beds.
–Clean towels
–Flat Screen TV
— Alarm Clock
Our room was very quiet. The motel was packed both nights and we didn’t hear a peep from the outside world. My husband and I got a chance to swim in the pool. It goes up to 8 or 9 feet deep. It was also clean and not to cold.
The only downside to this Motel 6 is parking! They allow semi trucks and tour busses to park in several parking spots. It’s a real disservice to the other guests.
I’d definitely stay here again. It’s right off the freeway and has several food options that are close. The room was clean and the staff was nice. Can’t go wrong for the price.

This motel 6 is by far the greatest experience and my hotel living I thought me and the damn dog was going to be home this but not a motel 6 they left the light on for me and the damn dog and the cool thing is they don’t even have hardly had hardwood floors if the dog took a piss I was not going to be stressing so Motel 6 Carson is the s***

I don’t feel safe here. Smoking is allowed inside, which is gross. I’ve smoked for 10 years but never inside! No wonder there is no carpet except for the halls which are trashed every morning.
I was kept awake all night by a young adult Party with rap blaring all night. I called the front desk 100 times but no one answered. I was too scared to leave my room and go find someone at 1 am.
I finally went and saw a security guard who followed me back and when the «adults» asked asked who «ratted» them out and he pointed to my door! (yes I was watching trough the peep hole).
Trash everywhere outside. I’ve even picked up some because it’s so disgusting. The front of the hotel is very nice but the back rooms are so gross.
The maintenance guy is very helpful.

When people heard where my coworker and I were staying, they wondered how we picked this place.
Not knowing anything about Los Angeles, we chose a package deal through Hawaiian Airlines which included a room and a car with our flight.
Motel 6 in Carson, California, was alright.
I don’t think I’m a High Maintenance type… However… Our room didn’t have shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hair dryer or an extra blanket. I thought these were basics. Am I wrong?
The room had a King-​Sized bed. It was rather uncomfortable as this was our first time travelling together. I had fallen asleep first, so, when I woke up and saw my roommate with her own little throw blanket, lying on top of the sheets, I thought that this wouldn’t do. I went to Housekeeping to get another blanket. At first, they didn’t want to give me one, saying that I had enough in my room. I told the gentleman that there are two of us and that we needed our own blankets! I think he was more inclined to listen to me as I had just come out of the shower with wet hair. He eventually went to a cabinet and found a blanket which they no longer use. He also went to the storage area upstairs to get me a hair dryer, saying that none of the rooms have these appliances any longer.
The positives include the modern sink, refrigerator in our room, the big television (but we didn’t have time to watch), the conventent location near a freeway entrance and across the street from a shopping mall, free parking, and spacious, well-​lit lobby.
The Front Desk held our bags and a case of water for us while we went to the 24 Hour Disneyland celebration. They were always helpful when we had to get a new key (I forgot it once and the other times, it didn’t work). I’m glad we had a room on the ground floor — not sure if there were elevators.

Very clean rooms. The pool is wonderful and clean as well. I love the location. It is near the bus station and not from the the train station as well. The staff were really nice and welcoming.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures or front desk, once you stay you realize it was all a smoke screen. The hallways and stairway smell like a locker room and feet. There’s no elevators and room service parks their carts in the middle of the hallways so good luck getting to your room with heavy bags. People at the front desk have no intentions on helping you out. Asked for an iron and never got one delivered or a phone call back saying there isn’t one. Also asked for more towels and never got them. Towels felt like they can scrape the skin off you. The beds aren’t comfy at all. As soon as u lay on them you hit the boards under them. Walls are thin so you can hear the TV next door. The residents are lowlife and trashy. Seen a lady washing clothes and dishes outside in the grass area, that was cool. Lol. Guess you get what you pay for.

If you can put up with the hallway fist fights, weed smell and fools pushing out screens so they can sit on the windows, it’s okay. There was a fight in the hall and when one of the combanents saw me they said, «do you want some too nigga». Don’t leave the place to get food because the cops will stop you and search you for no reason. Their Sergant will tell you when you call him they were be proactive. Be proactive on a Afghan Vet doing a Federal job transfer? Fuck you Sergant D. Jackson. The staff is nice but don’t know how to do shit. Best to wait until Ms. Khan comes in to help. The cleaning crew is good. Your car is always suspect to a break-​in. If you have a small dog, it will probly be attack by a fucking pitbull mix. Glad I’m alive.

I am so happy with this Hotel. Staff was super friendly provided great customer service, especially coming from the manager. SHE ROCKS!!! I lost my phone 2 weeks ago, I was going crazy I started tracking my phone online and noticed that they kept going back to the hotel. I called the manager and yes I was being a little pain in the butt for the moment I guess it was just cuz I was frustrated a little bit. She asked me to give her time and she will contact me before she leaves. She called me but I didn’t answer because I was working. I called back and she was gone for the day I was like damn ok I guess no phone for me tonight and just make a claim through sprint, but the lady told me all you have to do is bring a valid ID I was in stuck mode for a minute like wait for what, I asked she found my phone? She responded yes! I was so happy I jumped of the chair took my lunch break and rushed to the hotel. I was so happy to get my phone back. I don’t know how she managed to get my phone back bu what ever she did I was so glad she went out of her way to help met, when it was not her responsibility to look for my phone!!! She is awesome!!! Best manager ever!!! Hopefully one day she becomes more than just a manager because she definitely deserves it.

We checked out today at 11am. was thier for 1week and it was the best Hotel I’ve seen. Services was Excellent and front Desk Employees were very Helpful, my kids had fun. was a safe environment for my Family. If we ever as a family Need a Room We will Definitely Go back to Motel 6 in Carson. I Give my Respects to Staff and Manager for Having a Great Place For Familys. Tks Motel6 From Zuniga Family.

This was a very good place for the price. The room was clean and very spacious, and the same for the bathroom. There was a fridge and microwave in the room which was nice. The bed was relatively comfortable and all of the staff was very friendly. I didn’t like that they moved my toothbrush while cleaning the room.
One other negative was that the fire alarm went off twice late at night.
On the positive side, it’s in a great location. There is shopping and food right there.

Nice place ! Clean, nice pool and they allow pets ! There are very few places in this area that allows a dog! And they don’t charge a $ 30 pet fee every night like the Ramada. :/
All in all it’s an enjoyable place to stay !

I made a huge mistake here by trying to save money, sometimes spending more money (Doubletree) would probably give me less hassle than anything. I made reservation for this place on ⁸⁄₆ for ⁸⁄₉. I get there on ⁸⁄₉ and they have nothing under my name for any stay at their hotel. I check my bank account to show them that they are holding my funds for my room and lo and behold, they charged my card already on ⁸⁄₆.
The girl behind the counter was no help at all. She was very unprofessional and rude! She kept saying, I don’t have your name here at all!!! You have no reservation here at all… but I don’t know why we charged your account!!! Really??? You don’t know? Maybe your hotel are thieves in disguise?
My confuse self saying: Your motel charged my card already, so how do you not have any of my info at all?
She just stood there sighing and then kept saying, I don’t know… OMG!!! She did take my number for her manager Janine Khan to contact me. Weeks went by and I never heard from her. I contacted her and all she could say is, i’m sorry there’s nothing I can do for you!!! No apologies what so ever. She was rude and unprofessional by lying to me that she has an emergency call on the other line and had to go, because she didn’t want to hear me talk anymore!
This place has the worse costumer service and the workers are rude as hell. They look like they dont want to be bothered with questions at all! If you don’t want to create a good business here in my City… then get the hell out!!! You’re making my City look bad!!!
If you have absolutely no choice… make sure you don’t give your credit card number, repeat everything they say back to them and then have them fax, email, fb anything your reservation to you, because they will steal your money and leave you hanging out dry. BUT DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I stayed at the Motel 6 over labor day weekend for 1 night. It was fantastic for the price of $ 85 total (including taxes) and I was able to take my DOG for FREE !
Rooms were clean, modern, bathroom was clean with a lot of towels. I can’t complain. Obviously it was going to be a little crazy that weekend so they set me up in by the front/​side as opposed to the back which was going to be a lot more «rachet.» lol.
I loved the fact that it’s close to the main highways so you can get anywhere relatively quickly (but not so close that you are hearing any of the traffic or hwy noise). It’s close to long beach/​san pedro, and about a 30 min drive to LA. I’ll definitely be staying there again when I go back to CA

The rooms are nice and clean but I have to say the costumer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I have been staying here on and off the past two weeks it’s something different. Even though I made a reservation for a room, it was given away to someone else and I got stuck paying more. Even though I keep requesting room service, I have not had my room clean. If I had other options, I would stay somewhere else.
I had to make a phone call to the front desk as I am away for the day and had a quick question. The person that I was talking to have me attitude and constantly kept sighing and it seemed as if she was annoyed that she had to do her job. Worst service ever.

We will defiantly be staying here again!!!
