Went with Brian G. for lunch after our failed adventure to Hiccups. Parking: Limited– it gets super crazy during the lunch rush as parking is shared between all the businesses in the plaza. Street parking is available but also limited. Food– ¼ chicken: great moist meat with a nice bite to the roasted skin. This is about a Cornish game hen size, so definitely opt for the half portion if you’re a heartier eater. Fries– a bit on the soggy side but good portion with the ¼ chicken meal. Salad– fresh veggies, but my salad didn’t come with dressing. Highly recommend putting their green sauce on your salad! Green sauce– no Peruvian restaurant is complete without green sauce, and theirs is top notch. Good amount of heat that builds throughout your meal Quick Tip– they charge an additional $ 0.50 for credit card transactions under $ 10.

It’s no Mamita’s … for those who knew and loved that place. It’s basically Pollo A La Brasa which is located in Gardena. Seems like they have taken over Mamita’s Grill which is really a bummer. Just like Pollo a la brasa, you get a choice of half chicken, quarter and etc with 2 sides. If you been to pollo a la brasa there’s nothing more to say about this place except it’s a little nicer and probably easier to park. Chicken was on the dry side. My fries were a little soggy… salad was… well a salad. Not much flavor going there. Yes they offered fried plantains but other than that nothing new. For a quarter of chicken with 2 sides it ran me over $ 7. no drinks. I really miss the mamita’s grill days… for around $ 6 gets you a lunch special. half chicken(best i’ve had) depending on the day you get rice, fried rice, spaghetti and a can of soda/inka cola… ohhh the days. Oh! green sauce is spicy… and watery.
