I came in at 7:10, and didn’t realize they closed at 8:00 until they asked me to go ahead and pay(before they had even started on my nails– I was just sitting in the pedicure chair at this point) because they were trying to close. I would not have stayed had I known they were trying to close. How can I tip someone for their service before they have performed it? If they did an outstanding job, maybe I would have wanted to tip more/less for a bad job, Etc. I paid in advance, and had one person doing my gel mani during my pedicure. When I get a pedicure, I want to relax. I don’t want to be focused on trying to help someone do my nails while sitting in a pedicure chair. It’s not easy. I get that they were in a hurry because they were closing soon, but when I pay $ 60 for a mani/pedi, I’m paying for the whole service. I could give myself a pedicure if I didn’t care about relaxing. Another thing that makes me uneasy is when you feel like you are being talked about/laughed at the ENTIRE time. Then to top all of that, I get home and realize I still have the green clay stuff ALL over the back of my legs. Not just a little. My nails look fine, but the quality overall of my services were average, and the customer service was below average. I have been to salons where you are treated like royalty, which isn’t what I expect everywhere, but this wasn’t worth $ 60.
