krystina is AWESOME. she is super fast and friendly and affordable. she did such a awesome job on my wedding dress!

I was headed back to work after maternity leave and I forgot all my work pants needed hemmed. This place came recommended by a trusted neighbor. I dropped off my pants and two hours later they were ready. Fantastic.
Everyone there was very professional. You can’t beat the speed and my pants look great. I subtracted a star because they don’t take credit card. That would be a nice upgrade.

Krystina is simply wonderful. I bought a used wedding dress that had previous alterations and she made it fit perfect in two visits. She is FAST. She mentors the other girls in her shop. She is a tad pricey but totally worth it.

Love this place needed a button sewn back on my duvet cover and she did it for free! Great work and even better people!!!

Never going here again. I had to get some pants tailored and they closed at 2 pm on a Saturday. I called at 1:30 and made sure with the owner that they would be open at 1:50. We drove as fast as we could to get there and encountered traffic and an accident on the way. Long story short we got there at 1:57. The owner turned us away in the rudest fashion! She did this to another guy in the same situation. Obviously she doesn’t want our business.

Took my wedding gown here on the recommendation of Gorgeous Gowns in Cary and wasn’t disappointed. While the place was bustling, Krystyana took as much time as needed with me. The alterations (hemming and repair of a pulled seam) were done quickly and well. They weren’t cheap, but for a wedding dress, they seemed reasonable. Would use again for other alterations.

Krystyna and her amazing team did a fantastic and very last minute job with my complicated wedding gown. The other tailor I was working with bowed out on the job just one week before my wedding, even though I had first taken the gown to her six months prior. Krystyna and Borgeana (sp?) were beyond wonderful throughout the rushed process. The did a beautiful job, and I feel like they saved my wedding! I am so grateful for the coupling of their kindness and skill. Thank you, Krystyna!

I had her look at my wedding dress, which is probably more complicated then their typical customer.
I didn’t like the space — it seemed small and was packed. I had to walk out of the changing room with my dress unzipped with a larger audience than I would have liked.
I also didn’t like that you have to bring in anything and everything you might need — cups, fabric, elastic, hooks etc.
Also I felt like she was a little condescending. I talked about making a second skirt for me dress and she looked at me with these huge puppy dog eyes and said «oh no I’m sorry honey we don’t make clothes» like it was the end of the world.
I decided to go with Lee’s Tailors for a variety of reasons, one of them was that they had everything they needed in the store and I didn’t have to run to the fabric store with a vague idea of what I needed.

This is long overdue because I’ve been bringing my alterations and repairs to Krystyna’s for nearly 20 years. Competent, fast, and fairly priced, I’ve never had cause to look elsewhere.

I purchased my wedding dress from a second hand shop and brought it to Krystyna’s for some alterations. I had her pin down the back panels, take out the waist and change the dress from an A-​line to a Trumpet (AKA– mermaid AKA– fit and flare). Her shop has plenty of room and mirrors to go over what you want and she is quick to pin everything into place. I came back for two fittings; only because I wanted her to take in the bottom half a bit more. Her work is flawless and she knows her fabric. All of this for $ 135!!! Which if you know anything about wedding dress alterations is a deal. She even replaced the broken hook at the top of my zipper without me asking and free of charge. I could not be more pleased with her and her work.

I have been going to Krystyna for 14 years now and she still provides the same excellent and friendly service as she did when I was a young gal going to the prom for the first time… Sigh. I don’t get super thrilled about driving to the mundane Town of Cary (most people that grew up in Cary have «issues» with Cary) but going to see Krystyna is worth the drive!
I just really love her enthusiasm and friendliness. Oftentimes as a female, going to the tailor is not a super thrilling event; having to try on your ill-​fitting clothing and having a stranger critique your suit/​dress/​whatever seems like a burden. However, Krystyna just has this way of making you feel comfortable and welcome. Plus, she is super fast paced and I never really feel like I am «waiting» there.
And most importantly, everything she has ever tailored for me has turned out great. Great adjustments and fair price for the speed at which she and her seamstresses work. You can have something tailored there in less than 24 hours. Just remember to take either cash or check as she does not accept credit cards. She will explain to you that it’s simply too costly for her business and honestly, it’s a small issue compared to many that could be.
Bottom line is that I’m going to take a bridesmaid dress there next week and I don’t feel like it’s a terrible chore! And some chores are pretty darn terrible.
