Wow, what a shock to go to this Auto Center. Yesterday, the battery died in my car (which we purchased there 2 years ago with a 5 ½ year warranty) and the clerk was very frustrated and walked away twice because his manager told him to figure out how many months we still had on the warranty and our discount on the new battery. This young lad couldn’t do it – couldn’t do basic math. I felt bad for him — how embarrasing.
Then when I got my car back I discovered that my speedometer didn’t work. It was working fine when we took it in and when I drove afterwards, it didn’t work.
Well, just so you know — they didn’t touch it and REFUSED to even look at it. Customer service — very bad. I don’t trust them either. Not a pleasant experience and I usually can turn an unpleasant situation into a mutual happy one — not this time. So long Merchants Auto and Tire Center in Cary.
