I’m a Family Doctor practicing in the Old School model of the Personal Physician. My Preventive Health and Wellness Program suppliments traditional insurance, includes an annual comprehensive Physical Exam with all tests being done during a 2 hour visit on site at my office. Patients get a written report and recommendations as well as a credit card USB flashdrive/​ID which has your complete medical history and test results downloaded on it.

I limit my practice to 350 patients (traditional practices have over 2500), I am the only practitioner seeing my patients, we answer the phone «live», schedule 30 min. appts. and see urgent problems the same day. I personally return emails and phone calls, call back test results as soon as available and give my patients my cellphone # if they need to contact me afterhours/​weekends. I manage my patient’s care in the hospital and rehab., will see them on weekends and even make housecalls when called for

Established in 1989.

I was born and raised in Castro Valley. I returned to my hometown to practice medicine in the fashion that my father practiced for 50 years. I’ve been in the same location, in solo practice since 1989. In 2006, I changed from a traditional clinical practice to a concierge model so that I could continue practicing in today’s healthcare insurance enviorment without sacrificing the personal attention that my patients have become accustomed to.
