I got in right away on a saturday. Dr. Christine is friendly and fast. I liked getting in and out.

Dr. Christine is very patient and kind. She’s unique in that she wants to know the patients needs and wants, instead of just following normal doctors protocol. For example, I received a slightly weaker prescription than normal, which no doctor ever thought of, which enables me to read better without reading glasses. Overall, I’m very pleased and will be a returning customer.

Dr. Christine is the 3^rd eye doctor I’ve been to in the last 15 years. I finally decided I needed contacts so I went to her and I’m so glad I did. What was scary to me, turned out to be an amazing experience. She took SO MUCH time, making me comfortable with understanding my eyes and what the deal is with them. No rush, no pressure. I accomplished exactly what I needed. She wouldn’t let me leave with contacts until I could prove I could put them in and out, at least once. She got me my trial contacts in ONE business day and was so sweet and caring. Her motto is clearly to «care» for her patients, not just make a buck swooshing them in and out and running a stressful company. It is relaxing, peaceful, incredibly clean too. I’m a patient for life. For toppers, she even is referring me to my medical provider, Kaiser to have a thorough exam, for a future — down the road possible surgery. Funny I had an eye exam less than 2 years ago at Kaiser and they never mentioned they foresaw a possible problem. Amazing. She’s the best. If you don’t go to her, you’re missing out. Plus, if you wear glasses she has a great selection that I saw. Did I mention she made an appt. for me the day after I called, most places were 1 – 3 weeks out.

Dr. Liao is a excellent optometrist. She carefully exam you whether you are getting you glasses or eye contact. Also she try to help you every way she can to protect your eyes. Personally I think she a great doctor running the place by herself, and with some help from her husband.

My son and I went to visit Dr. Christine for the first time a few months ago and had a great experience. Dr. Christine was very patient with my young son and explained a lot to me about his growing eyes. She made us feel very comfortable and was very professional. Although I did not plan to purchase glasses, her selection of frames was great and I walked out with a pair of designer frames and a supply of contacts. I even stopped by for an adjustment a few weeks later and the major plus is that her hours are slightly later making it convenient to stop by.

Most of our past experiences and memories in interacting with an optometrist are sitting in the «chair» behind a closed door for a short period of time and trying to quickly decide which is better between A or B and between B and C. Then, we are rushed out of the examination room to choose our frames. And, we do not see the doctor again until 1 or 2 years later.
But, this is not the case when you have an appointment with Dr. Christine Liao.
Prior to making my initial appoitment, I critically studied Dr. Liao’s bio on her website because of my eye condition. Her credentials and medical background are very impressive. And, I was pleased to read her stellar Unilocal Reviews which were all exclusively 5 star ratings. (A business/​person has to be consistently outstanding to receive Unilocal reviews like hers.)
Unlike other optometry offices, Dr. Liao handles all of the testing including the pre-​exam tests (which are usually performed by the optician or a optical tech assistant at other offices). During the exam, Dr. Liao is extremely thorough, calm and thoughtful. She carefully explains what she is doing.
Since Dr. Liao recently opened this office, all of her equipment is new, clean and state of the art. Being tested with new equipment, undoubtedly, always makes any patient feel better and positive.
After the exam, Dr. Liao will assist you with the frame selection. She is most patient and knows what types of frames will fit your face. She has a good «eye» in what she helps pick and suggests to you to narrow down your choices.
And, her office has an excellent selection of quality frames. When you go to the national chain frames/​glasses retailers, they all have a massive number of frames to choose from but they are not necessarily quality frames. These stores have abundant amount of frames just to fill their walls.
My new frames arrived sooner than I expected and I was totally pleased with the results.
With my eye condition, I have spent countless amount of time over the years with many different optometrists, opthamologists and optical med assistants. I would definitely rank Dr. Liao as one of the best optometrists who I have seen and would highly recommend her to to others.
Going forward, I know and am fully confident that my vision is in excellent care under Dr. Christine Liao.

Dr. Liao was super nice and patient and informative. My vision case was really special but she spent a lot of time to help me to get to the best that I can and she took care all other stuff every time before my arrival. My only regret is I didn’t know her earlier, maybe my vision could be better with her professional advise.

I can honestly say I love this place! I Dr. Christine went above and beyond! I was in serious need of contacts and she made me feel comfortable and I never felt rushed, she was kind and very professional, I am completely satisfied with this place, I’m glad that I can wake up every morning and can see clearly! I’ve broken and lost so many glasses it was getting ridiculous, but Dr. Christine made things so much easier for me. I would give her 6 stars if that were possible. I’m truly appreciate what she did for me :)

Got my eyes checked and apparently the nerves don’t match in my eyes? Thanks, past optometrists for telling me jack shiet! The exam was quick and efficient and definitely more thorough than my past exams. Dr. Liao was super nice and informative. Getting glasses here was really easy and I will be coming back for suree!

Good first time experience. I hadn’t had an optometrist appointment in almost two years and I truly felt like Dr. Liao not only knew what she was doing, but probably knew more than a lot of my previous optometrists. Very professional and very flexible about scheduling an appointment. This was truly a great find.

Dr. Liao was so awesome with our sons. We haven’t been to the eye doctor in about 2 yrs and our youngest son’s vision is pretty bad. But Dr. Liao made all of us feel comfortable and explained how to take better care of his vision. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for vision care. It was a great experience for my entire family.

Dr. Liao was very friendly and accommodating. I went near the end of the day and she not only stayed past closing time to help me, she worked on my insurance to make sure I got the most out of it. She was extremely helpful and we got glasses for almost the whole family. The selections there are nice and we’ll definitely be back for our appointments. She was great with my 6 and 8 year olds too during their exam. Thanks again!

I kept my old optometrist since I was in Jr. High and I’m now in my 40s. I thought I would never find another reliable great customer service and friendly Optometrist. The moment I walked into this office I was greeted and I felt at home. Dr. Liao and her staff was professional and made sure I was informed from insurance coverage to every step of my check up. I definitely would recommend her to others. Thank you again Dr. Liao! My experience here was by far excellent.

In short: Awesome experience. Dr. Christine Liao was great.
1. I arrived late on a Saturday at 6.15pm without an appt. Even though they are closing soon at 6.30pm, she was willing to do a full annual eye exam for me (which includes dilating the pupils etc). I was done only at 7.15pm, way past her closing time, and during the whole process, I was able to take my time to choose the frame I like, and she also spent time to explain the results of the exam to me.
2. I’ve been going to another optometrist for years for a full annual exam because when I did my lask, the doctor told me I needed a full exam annually. I just did it, and didn’t question why. The previous optometrist didn’t explain to me either, and just told me it all looks good. Dr. Liao actually explained to me that because of my high myopia, I’m at risk for retina detachment and that’s why I needed a full exam yearly. She also explained to me what she was looking for, and what signs I need to watch out for to know if something is wrong. She’s so knowledgeable and patient!
3. Good selection of frames. I hate to pay more than what VSP covers. And at my previous optometrist, they don’t display anything that is within VSP’s coverage limits and I always end up paying more. Here, there’s a wide selection, and I was able to find a style I like what’s covered by VSP!
Definitely coming back here for my next exam.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The office is sparingly new. Dr Christine is knowledgeable and professional. Got my glasses in 4 days. It way better than my last one which the prescription is bit off. Now I can see clearly in style.
I am looking forward to my next visit in a year.
