Had them do an estimate on my vehicle after anther shop told me I had $ 4k worth of repairs. This shop was honest and told me it wasn’t anything alarming, and that the other shop was just looking to make some money off me. I’ve had friends swear by this place and I now know why. Will be brining my vehicle here from now on!

ER has always been there for me and my family. Once again Eric had to be called for my step daughters car and once again he’s on the job like white on rice on a white paper plate in a snow storm! Thanks to Eric and his crew for continuing the honest and awesome repairs.

Had my water pump go out on my truck and I had these guys do the work on my truck. These guys at ER Automotive are very professional and their price to fix my truck was very reasonable. If you need work done on your vehicle these are the go to guys. Their not like other shops trying to find other problems and make extra cash. For honest mechanics and good work take your vehicles here!

I’m so disappointed. I had my oil change a couple of weeks ago and today I noticed an oil leak all over my garage floor. Tried taking it back in, but the shop was closed for Easter. I had to take it elsewhere and was told that they put on the wrong gasket and the wrong type of oil. The bottom of my car is a mess. I now have to pay extra to get the problem fixed and my oil changed again. Very disappointed.

I dropped my vehicle off last Monday night, spoke to a technician Tuesday and said it would be a couple days for a part. He told me it would be 2 days to get the part. Its just a seatbelt. I was fine with a couple of days but not over the weekend as I need my vehicle on Sunday. Today is Saturday and I haven’t heard anything. I have made a few phone calls and haven’t heard back. Now I am going to have to rent a car for when I need my vehicle tomorrow. Not sure how it takes so long to put a new seatbelt in. I would be glad to edit this post once I have some sort of communication. This place was highly recommended by a friend who refers a significant amount of people here and I am not impressed so far.
Update: Made things right and will continue to bring my vehicles here.

This is a great shop and my go to for any service my car needs. Quality work at a great price every time. It’s the only shop I recommend to friends. Just honest people you can trust.

Came in today for the free diagnostic. Found out we needed our front brakes serviced. ER AUTOMOTIVE was able to assess and repair the brakes in a fast, friendly and fair manner. I will gladly return for future maintenance and repairs. Such a relief to find mechanics you can trust!

I have been spoiled by my parents in that they help maintain my car for me, but now that I live farther away I have taken on more of that responsibility (yay real adulthood!). My car was making a not so good sound, so I decided to bring it in to these guys because my boyfriend had a great experience with them.
They were amazing. Extremely approachable and attentive, knew almost immediately what my problem was, gave me a fair price, and even explained what they were doing as they were doing it so I knew what to look out for in case it happened again. They let me hang out and watch TV while I was waiting for my car and were really chill. Everyone I encountered there was nice, friendly, and helpful.
If you have car trouble, I 100% recommend this place!
P. S. If you get your oil done here, they check tires and brakes all at the same time for (I believe) no added cost.

My Chevy Sonic was just in the shop to replace my thermostat and it cost me $ 500. My engine light came on again last week. I realized something strange was happening when I fueled my car. I did some research and found ER Automotive on Unilocal.After reading their reviews I made an appointment. They provided me with great, fast, and affordable service. Our family has now found our place for auto repair.

Excellent service, caring people, affordable prices and knowledgeable staff! Could one ask for more? And so rare too in this business and the world today in general. they have definitely won us over!

I first came to ER Automotive based on reviews I had seen on Unilocal and elsewhere online as I was seeking a good solid reliable trustworthy and affordable auto service shop, and since trying them I haven’t looked back. Their prices are very reasonable and they do good quality work.
But here is one of the things I personally love most about them:
Any time I am getting my car repaired, I always ask the repair shop to contact me before doing anything and let me know what the estimated price will be. I have been surprised to find out how rare that is. Most places just go ahead and do the work and then I end up stuck with the bill (which is often unreasonable). I want to know what I am going to pay before I give the green light to go ahead and do the work. ER Automotive has always consistently accommodated this request.
Another awesome thing about this place — when getting my van repaired there recently, they saw another small issue that needed fixing and while they were there they just went ahead and did it at no charge. Who does that? First time I’ve every experienced such a thing.
I’ve read through many of the other 5 star reviews and can tell you they are a very accurate reflection of this place. And as they did nothing at all to solicit my feedback I’m confident in saying that unlike a lot of other business on Unilocal,what you see here is 100% real true genuine feedback from satisfied customers.

You will never meet a more caring group of people. The owners and techs go out of their way to explain everything, offering multiple options for your budget if needed. Their prices and specials rock. Their free diagnostic offer is no-​hassle everytime. They never push anything you dont need. Custy for life!

It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but ER is definitely one of them. I live in south Austin and drive all the way to Cedar Park to get my oil changes and other minor maintenance done by these guys, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. They don’t play games. They’re straight with you and tell you exactly what your car needs or doesn’t need. Even if you show up without an appointment, they’ll do their best to squeeze you in and get you out of there asap.

I always say, when you move to a new city, the 3 hardest things to find are: 1. A new doctor 2. A new hairstylist and 3. A new mechanic. And once you do find one that you trust, you latch on to it and never let go! Well, I found my mechanic and am latching on to ER Automotive.
My car decided to die on me, so I had it towed here without ever being here previously. I liked the name and saw good Unilocal reviews– and that was enough for me! Best decision ever. They helped me out so much and they are genuinely friendly AND caring here. They have good prices too! After they got my car running for me again, I came back to work raving about how amazing they are. I’ve even already convinced 2 of my coworkers to start coming here as well. I really can’t say enough about them!

This was my first visit to ER, based on Unilocal reviews and proximity to my new job. First, the conversation on the phone convinced me to try them out. Then, they were true to the commitment in the morning when I dropped off the car, and they gave me a ride to work. I got a call later with excellent recommendations. When I called at 3, to tell them I needed my car by 4:30 to get to a meeting across town, they carefully completed work to a good stopping point. When I pulled up at 4:30, my car was parked out front and ready to go. The rest of the work will be done next week. All communication, problem-​solving and follow-​through were top notch. I believe the person I dealt with said he work for BMW for over 10 years?
Highly recommend you give these honest folks your business!

They seem busy enough. Apparently this shop is strictly mechanical. They don’t do tires — repair nor replace, they don’t do inspections.
Friendly enough though.

This place is amazing! I will never take my vehicles anywhere else! I’ve been going to ER for 5 years now and they are without question the most honest, knowledgable shop of the kind! They will diagnose the problem most times at no cost and let you know all options for repairing! Best Place!

When my husband got stuck on a vehicle repair project and called the place we normally always bring our vehicles to (and recommend to other people) he was quoted a really outrageous price. We got talking about it, and it seemed like none of us had been all too happy the last 3 – 4 times we brought our cars in. When you like a place — sometimes you over look those «little things», because past experience has been very good. Feeling frustrated I took that frustration to the pages of Unilocal and hoped I could find an honest car repair place via reviews.
I wasn’t disappointed.
When my husband called ER Automotive he was quoted ½ the price of the «other guys» and they took him immediately!
THIS is our new auto repair shop. Nuff said (for now) :)

Lamb’s wanted 1000 dollars to replace my motor and transmission mounts.
This place did it for 800 flat. Plus they were super nice and did it really fast!
Definitely will go back!
