What a great surprise. My good friend sent me to Josh and I could not be happier. Auto repairs (of BMWs especially) can be stressful and costly and this is magnified when you are dealing with less careful individuals. I had a great experience from beginning to end at Lindsey Bimmer Service. Got my car in quickly, thorough review of the ‘must do now & can do later’ stuff. Got a ride to my house and picked up! Great communication and a few ‘no charge’ items that really made my day. I feel so relieved to have found someone this honest, hard-​working and good at what he does.

I went to Josh’s shop yesterday for a pre-​purchase inspection with a 330ci. He was very professional about the car’s inspection, even during the process he talked to me and after he finished the process was sitting down with me to let me know in details of the car and he was absolutely open to provide his best answer to all the extra questions I had. I felt very comfortable during the inspection! I found him through BMW forums and I am totally satisfied with the service&price he provided. If I end up buying the car, I am going to visit him again for sure! I like his customer centered mindset, can only recommend him!

Josh is amazing! Couldn’t ask for a more honest and fair person to work on my ’08 M5! I will recommend him to everyone without a doubt.

Josh has cared for my Z4 for years. His work is impeccable, and he knows everything. The best mechanic you could ask for. He’s always responsive, gets the job done fast, and has even had a loaner car whenever I’ve needed one. Lucky to have found such a great place to care for my car!

I got my car towed from another place to Josh. He quickly diagnose the problem and got back to me with a quote. What I like most is his honesty. It is very hard to find in the auto service industry. I will write another review soon on one of Josh’s competition later. Anyways back to Josh, so he gave me two options. The cheaper option is to have my oil pan fixed or replace it completely. He said it was not that bad but I chose to replace it. After the job was done he had informed me that he did some other things to me car that needed to be which was a pleasant surprise for me. If anyone needs their BMW service and don’t want to get raped I would suggest giving this place a shot first. Only thing they don’t do is tires and wheels.

Josh is the man! I brought my girlfriend’s BMW X3 in to him and he took the car right away! Fast and Friendly! These guys rock!

I discovered Lindsey Bimmer Service a few years ago through a marketing card that I received in the mail. I did a google search on the business because I wasn’t too thrilled with my mechanic at the time. I was happy to see that Lindsey Bimmer Service had nothing but 5 star reviews. That isn’t an exaggeration and it’s still the case now. Josh is friendly, kind, good at explaining things and most importantly honest. He is hands-​down the most trustworthy mechanic I’ve ever dealt with. I have a 2000 E46 with a TON of miles on it and he gives me the honest information I need to keep it on the road. He will even tell me if a recommended service is something I can easily do myself and encourages me to do so! How many mechanics would do that? This guy rocks, best mechanic I’ve ever had.

Josh helped me with an A/​C problem in my 2004 BMW X3. He had me set to go in under 30 minutes and explained to me what the issues were & offered a much less expensive alternative to a costly repair. I appreciated his straightforward and honest business practices. I’m very pleased with his service & he has earned my business going forward.

I trust Josh and his crew with the maintenance on my 325i and 540i. His work is top notch and at least 15% cheaper than at the dealership. He even gave me pointers for the jobs that I can do myself. For the bigger jobs, I get a clear breakdown of what parts need to be replaced and why. Servicing a BMW is never cheap, but Josh gives you the confidence that it’ll be done right the first time!

I wanted to thank Josh, I though I needed a brake change but he informed me that the computer just needed to be reset. I think most service centers would have changed the brakes anyways. If you need someone that’s honest then look no further.

Josh is awesome! Save yourself from BMW of Austin and call Josh with Lindsey Bimmer Service. He is fast with repairs, thurough and not to mention cheaper than the dealership.

Used josh for an oil change. He gave me great, speedy service and also gave me a good vibe immediately from the start. He was recommended to me by armadillo windshield repair. I have had a couple repairs done which saved me at least $ 400 total. He charges a fraction of what the dealer charges. Awesome.

Met Josh about 4 years ago when my car broke down. Within minutes he roared up in his truck and fixed my car on the spot. Since then, he has opened a shop but will still make road calls when necessary. Over the past years, I have come to know Josh on a personal level as well. Our children are in the same class at school. I can’t say enough about his skills, knowledge and abilities. He keeps accurate records and won’t hesitate to look up the repair history. Recently, he pulled up some records of mine and faxed them to me here in Phoenix so I can challenge the B.S. of the dealership out here (my car blew a radiator hose in Phoenix). I am currently working with Josh to get my BMW brakes/​rotors replaced. I haven’t taken my car to him yet, (will be next week) but he’s already been awesome with communication and knowledge, and has been honest about what needs to be done! Will update my review after work is done, but I’m pretty sure he will be my go to mechanic from now on.

Had a good experience — Josh is very knowledgeable… and very reasonable… big plus when owning a BMW… made the experience a bit better. I had been getting his postcards for a few years so I decided to give him a try… would def use him again!

I have taken my BMW 740 to Josh on multiple occasions. Many times the car doesn’t need anything and he just makes a few adjustments and sends me on my way or does a diagnosis on the phone at no charge. This time I had a vacuum leak and the car was running terrible. Josh fixed it quickly without an appointment and was almost $ 2000 less than the BMW dealership! Josh knows his stuff and doesn’t rip you off with ridiculous charges. Josh gets my highest recommendation, and that is very rare. He has earned my business for as long as I own the car.

Josh knows BMWs! I have a 330ci and an X5 and have taken both of them to him for service. His work is fast, honest and very reasonably priced — certainly a lot less than other shops I’ve gone to that don’t even specialize in BMW or German cars. As long as I have a BMW, Josh will be my mechanic.

My car is still under warranty but I felt like the dealership was giving me a bunch of BS and wanting me to pay for something that I didn’t need/​should have to pay for. I emailed Josh for a 2^nd opinion, and even told him if I needed to spend money I’d rather give it to him than the stealership. He replied to my email promptly and basically told me to stand my ground and that I didn’t need to spend any money at this point (even though he could have easily made a few bucks off me).
What a class guy. I’ve had him bookmarked as someone to try once my warranty runs out, but it looks like I’ve found my future BMW mechanic.

Josh exhibits the utmost integrity and professionalism and is a very competent mechanic. I am very pleased with the work he performed on my car and will refer all of my BMW friends to Josh.

I have a 528i, and have been dealing with Josh for about 7 months. I’m glad I found him on craig’s list. I will forever be loyal to Lindsey Bimmer Service.
My last 2 incidents have proven how honest of a mechanic Josh is, and those are hard to find. You will be very pleased with his services.
My windshield wipers went out, I called explained the symptoms and he was perplexed with the symptoms. He has so much experience with BMWs, he can tell what is going on with the car just by the symptoms. I brought the car in and he checked it, again mentioning that he had not ever seen that. Nonetheless, he ordered a motor and a relay switch for it. He called when the parts arrived and I went to drop off the car. As I’m waiting for my ride to pick me up, he calls me into his workshop and shows me a mouse nest and how the wiring has been gnawed. I was expecting to pay about 700.00 that day, instead he charged me 50.00, and had my car inspected as well. He tends to throw in little things, like light bulbs or grease this or that at no charge.
This last incident, however was the winner for me! My car overheated, I called him and the next day he was there. Due to the cold, my thermostat housing cracked. He looked through my receipts in the glove box and showed me where I had this replaced over a year ago at the former place I use to take my car to. He told me the normal warranty is 2 years for that part, he urged me to call the other place and tell them the issue. I called and they gave me a hard time, but they honored the warranty. That evening he called me to check on the car. He even offered to call the owner of the other place for me.
Over an hour of his time, driving to my place, checking the car, going through my receipts, calling me back that evening, etc —
THE CHARGE WAS ZERO!!!
