History

Established in 1993.

PostNet has been in business since 1993 and has grown to over 800 PostNet locations in 9 different countries. There are more than 50 PostNet locations serving the state of Texas.

PostNet Lake Mill began operation in July 2011 as Cedar Parks commercial printing center. Our goal is to provide the absolute best quality, value, convenience, and service in design, printing and marketing services to the busy consumers, entrepreneurs, satellite offices, home offices, and small businesses in Cedar Park, Austin area, and surrounding communities.

We offer offset, digital and wide format printing solutions. We have two Xerox digital presses which offer the latest in digital printing innovation, as well as, two wide format eco-​friendly machines that can print up to 50″ wide. We offer print on demand solutions, direct mail and marketing solutions for small to medium size businesses.

This is the second time this year I’ve used them for printing invitations. They are incredibly fast and the print quality is so good I feel like I should become a professional graphic designer. Special thanks to Mike!

I went to this place last Christmas to ship some gifts and was appalled at the price and the crappy service. First of all, Google maps had the location completely wrong and when I told the owner, he called me a liar. So I ignored him and went to speak with the girl working. She was a bit nicer, weighed my stuff (under ten pounds worth) and then measured to see how big a box would be needed. The owner then came out to pack the stuff and ignored me when I told him that the bags had fragile stuff in them and shouldn’t be turned upside down like he was doing. While he was doing that, the girl took my card and charge the price which she said would be under twenty dollars. I get the receipt and it’s fifty ducking dollars! I demanded to know why it’s so much and am told: «that’s what the total added up to.» The owner then took my stuff to the back to hold until UPS came. He refused to give me a refund, a better answer or give me my packages back so I could go ship them elsewhere. When I tried to get someone above him that I could speak to, he practically shoved me out the door and then locked it in my face.

Fast Service! I needed business cards printed to attach to candy bags. I placed the order online at 2:30 pm, received a call around 2:45 pm to clarify a question and by 5:30pm on the same day I had all my business cards. Great Service, Great Speed and Great looking cards!
Mike was a great help and delivered! I will use them again.

We love this PostNet location! They do a wonderful job. We use them for mail service as well as all of our business design and printing needs. We have been very pleased with the designs that they have come up with for our signs and flyers and love that they know us by name when we walk in the door. We have been using this location for almost 3 years and have always been satisfied with the service as well as the customer service. Yes their mail prices are a little bit higher than the post office… but I don’t have to drive all the way to the post office and stand in line. Well worth the extra money.

We wanted to design and purchase custom cut vinyl lettering and signage for 2 vehicles for our business. I decided to go see Michael At PostNet Mill Printing. He was AMAZING! He took the time to work with us to get us exactly what we were looking for. We are so pleased with Michael and his services. We werent planning on purchasing that day, however we were so satified with the design and and attention to detail that we okay’d and purchased that day. Michael even installed the lettering for a very professional look. We are so pleased that we ordered a second Custom Cut Vinyl sign for our second vehicle. We love them and the prices are great and the quality is top notch! We will be returning for many more projects and purchases in the near future.

I’ve used PostNet for the last two years to make my business cards and I have recommended them to other Doctors offices to have their flyers and tri fold brochures made. I am impressed from the start to the finish of the entire process. They help you in the design, edging, color and finish of the cards so you get exactly what you’re looking for in a business card. I still get compliments on my cards whenever I hand them out.
Not only are they good for a simple job, but they do large scale printing that no one else around can do. These guys are friendly, thorough, and efficient. I’d use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone who wants quality work.

I deal with this place for my office. They are so rude. I went in to ship a personal package since they are close to me. Won’t even discuss pricing until they get your personal information. Shipping for my package was $ 32. They said that was the cheapest. I left with my package went to the post office and mailed it for $ 13! Wow what a mark up and to be treated with no customer service at all.

I hired post net to make some business cards for me about a year ago.
They did such a good job on helping me design the business cards that I asked them to make me a sign for my office.
Not only did they do an amazing job making the sign but Mike came and installed it for me as well without me asking him. Imagine that? The owner of the business coming out and installing my sign personally.
I am very impressed with Mike and his team! Fantastic customer service.

***Potential customers: please note PostNet’s condescending and unapologetic response below my review. His response perfectly sums up what I was addressing in the first place — complete lack of customer service. There’s no review I could’ve given that would’ve proved my point more precisely.***
There are too many choices to support a place with a complete lack of customer service skills. The gal at the counter never gave eye contact and appeared to be plain old sad. The man working there was blatantly rude after a comment I made that $ 10 to send a fax is crazy expensive. It was amazing how quickly he was defensive about his fantastic prices. Bottom line, if $ 10 to send a fax surprises a customer (note they don’t list any prices), it’s your job not to be rude about it and defend your pricing but to assure the customer that they got a great price and to explain why it is the price it is in a way/​tone that is pleasant. We will never be back and we will spread the word. Take a class on how to treat customers, your business literally depends on it.

Love PostNet. I have my business mailbox there, and Mike was super helpful in getting it set up. He also designed and printed my business cards for next to nothing. He walked me through all the different kinds of card stock, and styles of cards, and inks, and so many options it made my head spin! When I picked up my cards, I was blown away. They were more than awesome.
When I worked at my last job, I ran out of business cards, and my boss was not there to order me any more. I took one card to Mike, and his team copied that card exactly, the print, the style, the colors, the paper, everything! He delivered an exact replica just by looking at the old one!
Aside from this, PostNet has also done some copying for me of court documents, and even pictures. I once had to take a pile of pictures of to Court, and Mike printed them all out and made copies, all in only a few minutes.
I know that small clients like me who only need a few business cards or whatever are not the bread and butter of his business, but I am still treated as if I am the only customer. I will not take my print jobs anywhere else!

Really impressed with this place! I had a small print job for my business a couple of months ago. I called in to place the order and Mike guided me through doing it on their website. That was convient because I could just upload my document and it would be saved there for me if I ever needed to print it again. I submitted the order, hoped in my car, and drove straight there. The order was already done! Granted it was only about 400 copies, but I was still amazed at how quick they had gotten it ready for me.
So a couple of weeks ago I thought I would see how they would do on my business cards. They redesigned my card for me with a minimal charge and gave me several drafts until I was 100% satisfied. Then I got the order at a much better price than the last place I ordered cards from. Lastly, I discovered the card stock they use is a lot thicker and better quality.
I am thinking about getting a banner from them as well… It appears these guys do everything. I will update the review if anything else comes up, but I will definitely be using PostNet for all my printing needs in the future.
tl;dr — fast, friend, good quality, reasonably priced.

I had a simple large envelope that I wanted to send basic first class post, no insurance, no tracking. Figured it would be a few dollars.
Go in, tell them what I need. Get asked my phone number, then my address.
I just wanted to pay with cash and be on my way. Nope, they had to get all of my information or they wouldn’t. (For their database, my return address was on the package and no shipping label was needed.). Again, I verified I just wanted to ship US Mail.
Didn’t matter. Needed all my info, even if I had cash in hand.
So I just took my letter/​package and left. Went to another Mailboxes/​Postal store and they took my $ 3.65 and didn’t need my address, phone, astrological sign or for me to pee in a cup.
Won’t be back to creepy PostNet.

I have used this Post Net for a few things. I have had to mail some stuff and needed help with the packaging a few times. They are always so nice and helpful. I also needed a sign on the back of my vehicle for business. They helped create a sign for the back of my vehicle too. They are a great business. I highly recommend them.

Mike and Sabine run the most professional PRINTING business I’ve ever seen. Printing used to be a sideline for the Postnet franchises but in Mike’s case it is their primary business and he knows what he is doing. He is an absolute geek (and I mean that as a compliment!) on paper, ink, design and all the elements it takes to put together an outstanding printing project.
I’ve used his services maybe 5 or six times and he has the most consistently professional product and process I’ve seen. Send in a printing order request and get a response almost immediately. Need some design work? Submit a request, get a response with a design or an improved design the next day. Send in a change request and, again, the next day a response. It is amazingly consistent. And once the design is approved printing kicks off and you get messages with the progress of each step. Typically a couple of days for the most complex project since he does most of the work in house.
Being good occasionally is easy. Being good every time is the holy grail of small business. I’ve never had an inkling of inconsistency in any of the interactions I’ve had with this Postnet nor would I expect any.
Oh, yeah, they do shipping too.

This place is fabulous! Great turn around and unbelievable customer service! I highly recommend for everyone to use this place for any printing and postage needs. And just in case you are not aware… they can provide magnetic signs, rubber stamps, custom printing and marketing materials for businesses. They are much more than just a place to mail something. Check out their services, you will be extremely happy you did!
