Our mission at the Champaign Gymnastics Academy is to provide all of our athletes, competitive and recreational, with the highest quality gymnastics instruction in the Champaign-​Urbana area.

All of our programs are based around developing the core skills and values associated with gymnastics at all levels; skills such as physical fitness, motor development, strength, flexibility, as well as the values of education, self-​esteem, self-​discipline, and work ethic. With the guidance of our dedicated staff, each participant will develop the necessary strength and skills to achieve his or her full potential and accomplish their own personal goals in the sport. Our staff is committed to providing a safe, fun, and challenging environment for every participant to learn and to grow through the sport of gymnastics.

History

Established in 2012.

Champaign Gymnastics Academy is owned by Ian and Michael Dennehy. Our vision is to provide the Champaign area with an all inclusive gymnastics experience. Gymnastics can be activity for everyone and we provide classes that cater to all interests and skill levels.

Business Owner

I have been actively participating in gymnastics for as long as I can remember. When I was 6 years old my mother and father enrolled me in my first gymnastics class and since my first less than perfect cartwheel, I have never looked back. As a child, I loved everything about the sport and now as an adult I also appreciate the tremendous impact it has had on my life today.
