We are an HVAC contractor that services the entire Phx metro area, focusing primarily on residental work, but we do do some light commercial work. We offer new equipment sales, service, repair and maintenance agreements.

History

Established in 2005.

With a military background, years in the construction industry and living in Arizona the idea of Air Command was born. Starting in April 2005 with a few customers has grown exponentially by working with Home Warranty Companies and other construction-​type businesses. Air Command provides services to residential and light commercial HVAC customers throughout the entire Phoenix metro area.

Keith K.

Manager

Keith brings the talent to Air Command. He possesses the necessary technical knowledge to repair and install HVAC systems. He is responsible for the hiring of all technicians, as he can accurately assess the technical skills of all applicants. He is also experienced in explaining technical jargon to home owners in layman’s terms to allow them to make the educated decision to fix or replace their equipment.

Keith came to my home over the summer for an AC issue and again just recently for a heating issue. He was very nice, friendly and most importantly knowledgable. His team did a lot of duct work for us over the summer to fix our AC problem and quickly spotted and corrected the heating issue. Service was very prompt and Keith went the extra mile working with our home warranty company (who were huge pains!) to ensure we were able to get the issues taken care of as quickly as possible. I would recommend Air Command to anyone who needs AC or heat work done.

HVAC is a tough industry to find reputable people in, and even tougher to find them willing to operate off a thin margin. I was referred to Keith at Air Command and am very happy I was. I shopped his quoted price with 2 other contractors I personally knew and had used in the past. He came in several thousand dollars less than them.
That cheap price did not discount his service. They arrived on time with a crane and a crew to replace a roof mounted heating and AC unit. The entire swap took less than 3 hours and they were quiet enough to let me get my beauty sleep while they were working. He also discovered an existing gas leak unrelated to his work, went and got the parts to fix it, and took care of it at no additional charge.
Ignore the low reviews, most people don’t write a review unless they feel something went wrong. Give them a shot and I think you’ll be happy with the service you receive. Keith and Air Command have proven to be trustworthy and will be my go-​to for future HVAC needs.

After dealing for over 3 weeks with an incompetent AC company our home warranty company sent out to our rental property, Air Command came in and had everything correctly diagnosed and everything repaired in no time. Technicians Keith and Kevin moved mountains to find a compatible air condenser unit and stayed late to get it installed, all in 104 degree weather. This is the only AC company I want my home warranty to send out!

Air Command should be your go-​to guys for all your repairs. Honest, trustworthy, and most of all, they don’t try and sell you things you don’t need. They recently came to our house to provide a 2nd opinion after the other guys [Parker & Sons] recommended replacing our entire systems at a cost of over $ 13,000. And guess what, there was nothing wrong with our systems! Air Command saved us over $ 13,000. Don’t use anyone else… we won’t!

Want your problem fixed don’t call Air Command. You’ll be up sold and not have the problem addressed that you called them out for to begin with!
Three times they came out to fix a leak that was causing rust out of the secondary down the side of the house. They ‘fixed’ the problem so well we called back to have them come out again. Each time they tried to up sell us on additional unneeded service rather then making money fixing the problem. The fourth time we refused to allow them entry and called for a second opinion. (through a home warranty service) Results from the ‘second opinion’ showed the real problem, a cracked drain pan. They also lied to the warranty company to blame us for a ‘dirty’ system, but told us it was mechanical and a service could fix it.
So if you like being lied to, blamed things on, wasting time and money then call them. But I’d choose to never hear of their name again. Try Consolidated Mechanical.
