Would gladly come here again and recommend this office to anyone else.
From the moment I walked in, was greeted by a friendly staff offering me something to drink or just a water. Nice change from other places I’ve been in the past.
Dr Heetland was excellent. Very knowledgeable and explained everything; not only in a manner easy to understand, but what would be the best for me for what I was hoping to accomplish. Went through pros and cons of various lenses before offering his recommendations.
The other aspect that I absolutely enjoyed was upon finishing his exam he had the eye glass consultant greet me in the room. No waiting around forever for someone to finally be free to help choose my frames and lenses.
For that moment on the transition was smooth and again received excellent service from Ernesto.
Overall I was very pleased from start to finish. So glad I picked this place.

Insight is a top-​notch eyecare and eyewear provider! My first appointment was yesterday, and I am amazed at how pleasant the entire experience was. The new patient registration was quickly and easily accomplished online; the office is lovely; and the eyewear selection is extensive with excellent brands. The entire staff is personable, professional, caring and attentive. Jane, the receptionist, was very welcoming; Tara, the technician, skillfully conducted eye tests and explained each one along the way. I was particularly impressed by the eye scanner in place of the dilation eye drops used by many other eyecare providers. It was wonderful meeting with Dr. Heetland. Not only was his the most thorough eye exam I have ever received, he provided an abundance of education and answered every question I had and more. Crystal, the optician, is very knowledgeable and guided me through the eyewear selection process with such patience and good advice. I am very grateful to have found Insight Eyecare and Eyewear and highly recommend them!

Dr. Heetland is knowledgeable and friendly, but the experience of buying a glasses is not pleasant. The experience of purchasing a glasses is a little complicated, but the result is pleasant. I appreciated Dr. Heetland recheck my prescription again to adjust my glasses with correct vision.

I recently moved to the valley. I chose Insight Eyecare & Eyewear for its proximity. However, I was very fortunate to experience a great Optometric Physician with Dr. Chrisopher Heetland. His staff was very professional, prompt, and friendly. Dr. Heetland was very thorough, personable and easy to talk to. He was very patient, and caring explaining details of my exam. He will be my permanent Optometric Physician and I would recommend him to everyone.

They did such a great job getting me in quickly, even as a new patient. I was seen quickly, had a comfortable and relaxed conversation with Dr. Heetland, and they have really neat technology. They helped me figure out my options with glasses and were extremely friendly and personable.

I was very please with my experience. I am specially thankful for Crystal, she truly understands how insurance companies work and how to get ALL the benefits you are paying for. She also help me get the receipts needed to use my FSA. I recommend that if you have questions about coverage talk to Crystal she is the expert at that office. The other employees are very nice but the one that knows insurance is her. Exam experience was very good I felt the doctor listen to my needs and I got great suggestions. After going to other offices I think this is the best in Chandler!

The facility is very modern, clean, & nice. Dr. Heetland was very courteous and made sure all my questions about my eye health were answered. The only downfall is the follow up process for my glasses. I understand that it takes abt 7 to 10 business days for the glasses to complete. I called in on the 8^th day at around 4pm just to get a status update as i am so eager to get a hold of my new eyewear and i was told by the woman who answered the phone (i will not name any individual) she was going to call me back shortly after she calls the lab. However, i never got a call back from her or anyone from the office. I called back the following day past 4:30pm to check on the status once again. This time another individual called the lab while she put me on hold which i didn’t mind just so i can get an answer or status update. I was told that the glasses should be in on Monday ¹⁰⁄₁₃ (i’m hopeful). I think their follow up process with customers leaves a lot to be desired.
Not so much with Dr. Heetland, but with the front staff’s customer service may need greater improvement. Thank you

The staff here is very courteous and helpful. Dr. Heetland did a great job listening to my concerns and explaining options. Together we came to the best solution for me. I will be returning here for my annual check up every year.

We’ve been to Insight twice for my daughter’s eye exams and glasses and each time our experience was excellent. From Sarah, who helped my picky child select great frames, to Dr. Heetland, who was professional and very personable. Never an issue and always accommodating, I highly recommend Insight!

Eek! Me thinks not indeed! Cannot recommend Insight Eyewear. Brought in a prescription from my ophthalmologist and it took the lab three attempts and three weeks before I received my eye glasses. One lense still was double vision. I thought about asking them to try again but having no glasses for three weeks, and realizing they are not up to the task, I took what they offered. It’s better than nothing. I was going to have a second pair done and decided against it. Will not return to this establishment. One star is for the friendly retail staff. I would have preferred crystal clear lenses.

Great place! I recently had my yearly exam. I was worried about an upcoming sinus surgery. Dr. Heetland was very informative and gave me the attention answering all my questions. He worked with me on my lens and contacts for after surgery. 5 Stars, great place great people.

New patient forms can be filled out online and submitted electronically, which I loved! The doctor is patient and knowledgeable. The staff is friendly and doesn’t push any unnecessary tests or supplies. I have been to many eye doctors in the area and this is the best practice by far. Very nice, clean, modern office too.

These guys rock… good prices, great service, very clean etc. You should really go to these guys.

Overall I had a great experience. The doctor was patient with me and really went out of his way to make sure that my vision was as good as it could be. After an exaustive exam, I ended up with 2 perscriptions; 1 for distance, 1 for close up. I work on a computer all day (and most nights), so the doctor thought a bifocal solution was not the best for me at this time.
Out front, the optician up front was very nice and extremely knowledgeable, making sure that I got the best lenses for the purpose they would be used for. Unfortuneately, the lenses order where the wrong prescription (I wanted to get my ‘indoor’ perscription filled first) and I hope to get it corrected soon.
