The Tutor Doctor Difference

We specialize in matching the highest qualified tutors with each student’s individual needs. We do this by providing comprehensive academic evaluations in math (K-​7, Pre-​algebra & Algebra) and/​or English/​vocabulary/​spelling/​reading comprehension (K-​12). These no cost evaluations pinpoint each student’s strengths and weaknesses which allows us to design the most effective tutoring program for each child.

We also provide learning style assessments. We have found that most children struggle in school based on their learning style. It is important to understand the child’s learning style (s) to ensure that our tutors are instructing according to the learner’s style and not the tutor’s. A tutor who instructs only according to his/​her own style makes learning more difficult for the learner
