Tim’s quick and courteous response to my initial contact allowed me to schedule an appointment for that afternoon. Tim arrived right on time for the appointment (at work) and got my BMW back on the road in under an hour! Even more impressive was the final bill; much less than I anticipated. And get this, he even diagnosed an unrelated problem (with my air conditioning system) that had plagued me for months; an issue that other mechanics wanted to charge me an arm & a leg for — -at NO EXTRA CHARGE! Not convinced yet? On the way out, Tim even helped some old folks who had locked their keys in the car; no charge. I kid you not — this guy is the real deal. What a relief I FINALLY have a guy I can rely on to keep me mobile. Thanks buddy!

This is the second time Tim fixed my cars. He did a great job changing my BMW brakes and previously Nissan Sentra alternator. He worked with care at a very reasonable price. I would definitely trust his work and recommend him.

I hate to leave a low review, since Tim was nice in person.
Tim installed my car’s suspension incorrectly, leading to loud scraping up front on bumps. I knew something was off when the front sat much lower than the rear.
Although Tim promised he would find time to fix it at no cost, since it was his mistake, he won’t pick up his phone, or return my calls or email even though I’ve contacted him numerous times over many weeks to rectify the situation.

He installed an oxygen sensor, replaced the battery and installed a battery disconnect switch. The jobs went smoothly. I picked out the parts online. He picked them up at Advance Auto Parts. If you want a receipt for the parts, don’t wait too late. I asked by email after a job and got no reply.

Tim is the best mechanic in the area. If he can he will come to your house and make the repairs and his prices are always fair. Usually, I go buy the part I need, contact him when it arrives and he comes by within 2 days. Very few mechanics will work on parts you buy (so they can get a markup on the part). Tim has integrity and is very knowledgable. I recommend him to all my friends.

Tim was schedule to show up at 9:00 am. Contacted at 8:59am to find out where he was? Thats when Mr. Nguyen informed he picked up another job elsewhere probably for more money. Now he just wants to clarify himself making up a bogus story. Spread the love by keeping your words Tim. Cheers.

I found Tam through his craigslist ad and haven’t looked back since. As an ASE certified mechanic, he is extremely knowledgeable about both diesel and gas engine vehicles. Tam will make sure he gets the job done quickly and efficiently and without overcharging.
He’s worked on several cars for my family and we couldn’t be happier! I will definitely continue to recommend Tam!

I found Tim through an ad on craigslist and asked him for a quote on changing the brakes and rotors on my car. His price was very reasonable and was a couple hundred below what the dealership was charging. I also didn’t even have to leave the comfort of my own home during winter since he will come to you. He did a fantastic job and even went out of his way to take me to the dealership since I had bought the wrong parts. He’s very knowledgeable and honest when it comes to auto repair. I have since used his services again to change my wife’s brakes and will continue to do so. I highly recommend Tim over taking your car to an expensive shop or dealership.

I have used NAS and recommended him to friends on multiple occasions, to include just moments ago. I initially went to him to replace all of my metal brake lines on my truck and he did the job at a significantly lower price than the dealership. He promptly came to my home, assessed the problem, to include all of the research, provided me a detailed quote, then completed the work right there on site. Based on that experience, I went to him to fix my suspension issues. Just when I thought that he covered the full service requirement, he took it a step further and was able to contract out some minor body work that I needed and took care of my vehicle inspection while he had it. I’ve had a good experience with his services and will continue to use and recommend him to others.

I have used NAS services several times in the past. Tim is friendly, honest and extremely knowledgeable. After getting to know him couple of years back, I have rarely visited dealership or other mechanics other than for oil change or emissions. His rates are reasonable and quality of work excellent.
