At Fired Urth we are not coffee importers or roasters… we are real baristas, skillfully hand-​crafting direct trade, locally roasted award winning coffee. Our goal is to make sure that all of the potential in those freshly roasted beans makes it into every shot we pull and cup we pour. We think of it as practicing the coffee arts

Established in 2012.

The Team at Fired Urth is known for thinking globally and acting locally. Utilizing and supporting local farms and other businesses is extremely important to us, as is offering you ingredients that are sustainable and responsible whenever we can. The Fired Urth team is grateful to each customer who walks through our door. We know that you choose to come here and spend your time and money with us. Fired Urth Café is owned and operated by husband and wife team Chris & Missy Wallace. They both have long shared a desire to open a local espresso bar and café where friends, family and enthusiastic food lovers come together to sip handcrafted coffee, eat delicious homemade pastries and savory food in a warm casual atmosphere. Missy has always had a love for baking, one of her greatest childhood memories is sitting on the kitchen counter helping her mom bake. You could say it was love at first whisk! Chris has dreamed of opening a espresso bar from the first time he assisted a friend with his small coffee roasting business. He has immersed himself in the study of coffee and is a self taught latte artist. The couple recently moved from North Carolina (where they owned and operated a small cupcake and coffee shop) to Charleston SC to live out their dreams. It is their goal to make you feel welcome and nourished every time you visit Fired Urth.
