This Home Depot is my go to for things for the house. The customer service is outstanding. Someone always greets me when I come in and at least once or more during my trip. The associates are always helpful, and ready to find what I need. Shopping for items needed to make repairs around my house is not something I enjoy, but this Home Depot definitely makes it as easy as possible!

I don’t really have any loyalty to these big box hardware stores so I normally stick to the Lowes in Mt P based solely on proximity. My washing machine was deemed«not worth repairing» by another company so I decided to check the ads online and see who had the best deals. It was just after black Friday and there was plenty of sales, but Home Depot and Best Buy happened to have the best prices that week. After already putting time into the research and then realizing the circulars would change soon leaving me at square one on who had the best sales, I decided to make my way over and see if I could make a quick decision. With only a half hour left on the clock before closing, I went in, surveyed the options, made a decision, set up delivery, and rang it up… pretty impressive. I do have to say that it was mostly do to my own discovery process online and the appliances rep had only started two weeks ago offering zero input on the products. I did end up speaking to a manager and getting a little discount so overall I felt really good about the purchase. A couple weeks later, they delivered, installed, and hauled away the old one(haul away was $ 15, but sooo worth it) just in time for some Christmas laundering! The delivery comes from a third party company, but I didn’t pay for it and scheduled it from Home Depot so for all intensive purposes, it was part of the experience. They were very professional and did an amazing job of maneuvering without any damage. Set up was simple and my new wife… I mean… washing machine was read for a load.

I normally go to that hardware store across the street, but they didn’t have exactly what I needed, and I had a gift card to use at the big orange box. I was happy to find that the things which were showing online stating«not available in store», were actually available(and I looked before coming in). Perhaps a disconnect between website and store inventory. Overall, a pleasant experience but nothing that really jumps out to give it a 4 star rating(yet).

We went to buy a dryer today and after deciding on one we tried to find someone to help us. Had someone who didn’t work in appliances page someone and when that person appeared he proceeded to help some other people. when we got his attention he seemed very unhappy about it. He checked to see if the dryer was in stock and it was so we asked him to bring it out he advised us to get a flatbed cart so we do. Then we waited and waited. We see someone with a dryer but not coming towards us so we ask if that was ours of course they don’t know. Turned out that it was and after asking if we needed anything else and told no we load up and go home. We get home and do not have a power cord!!! When we called the store we were told that it’s so rare that they have a large appliance in stock that it was overlooked and when they order it they just click a box for the cord. Very poor sales service and customer service! Will not return to Home Depot in the future for anything and will probably stick to the smaller owned diy stores!

Customer service is sub par. I’d rather buy my stuff without grumbly overworked staff.

The customer service here is great! So much, that we don’t go to Lowes anymore because theirs is soo poor. I live right around the corner and go all the time. I especially like it when they have a guy at the front door to guide you to where you need to go to find items. My little one loves there car carts as well. :)

I’ve been here a lot lately since we purchased another home. And while the merchandise is pretty standard to a Home Depot, the employees here are what really stand out to me. There are always a lot of employees walking around and everyone is so friendly and says hello and offers to help you with whatever we need. On the occasion that we do need assistance locating an item, the employees always seem to know exactly where to find it and offer advice on how to use it(when applicable). I appreciate how knowledgable everyone is. And rather than just telling you what isle something is in, they will walk you directly to the item. Good job Home Depot, you are hiring some quality people!

Ordered a dryer for delivery and to haul away the old one and the service was HORRIBLE. Took 3 weeks — was impossible to adjust delivery time or day. They accidentally charged us and tried to deliver two driers. Were given a 4 hour delivery window and the guys arrived late with no warning. When they finally got here they refused to disconnect and haul away the old dryer because they had to put a cap on the gas line which we didn’t have and they wouldn’t wait more than ten minutes for us to run out an buy one. It sucked.

While I have not had problems shopping at this Home Depot, I will never pay for appliance installation from it again. This Home Depot contracted out my recent dishwasher installation to a local company called Appliance Warehouse, and they did an awful job. Although they showed up on time and worked quickly, they did not install the dishwasher correctly; they connected the wrong wire to a plate, so when I tried to run it, the appliance made a loud popping sound, shot out a huge spark, and tripped my circuit breaker. Because I had the dishwasher installed on a Friday(and Appliance Warehouse apparently doesn’t respond to weekend messages), The Home Depot was unable to help me get the installation corrected until Monday afternoon, leaving me without a dishwasher for 3 days. They were apologetic when contacted, but would not refund the full amount of the installation; instead, they sent a gift card for half of its cost. While I appreciate that they did something to compensate for my bad experience, I would not use their installation service again, at least as long as they are contracting services out to Appliance Warehouse.

Update: I visited Home Depot again today and Nicole was amazing too! She must have listened to my super elementary gardening questions for a half hour and was so sweet and patient and helpful. Trust me, I am enough to test anyone’s patience but she was just lovely. A real asset to the company!
